Olympus has reinvented an awesome range of cameras named PEN, which marked the top of the range E-P3. Besides the CMOS sensor of 12.3 MP, the model has as a main feature the TruePic VI dual-core processor, which allows it to obtain an autofocus performance that we will not find on any other Micro Four Thirds camera, informs Dvice. With its amazing equipment, could place E-P3 over the rival Panasonic GH2 and DSLR’s like Nikon D3100.

New MacBook Air processor and Thunderbolt support

The ultra-portables number with Sandy Bridge processor is growing in the market, but the MacBook Air is not among them. As we are accustomed, Apple delayed the implementation of these cutting-edge components. Today we learn that the following month, the thinnest ultra-portable will receive new CPUs. It is assumed that will be three models with dual core, with frequencies between 1.7 GHz and 1.8 GHz.

Apple should have known that the new processors provide am increasing performance and slightly reduce the fuel consumption, two important features for the ultra-portables segment. But that does not mean that Apple did not stay to test the Sandy Bridge processors to ensure that they are the perfect solution for a laptop as thin as MacBook Air.

Another update that MacBook Air will get the next month will be the Thunderbolt port. We do not know how and where they managed to find free space for this port for the model 11.6″, but certainly we will see in a month. Maybe they peaked at the new Sony VAIO Z and see what can be done with a Light Peak port. And about pricing, they probably will not be so high. Just wait and see.

Elventian watch brand Tag Heuer entered in the arena of Android Smartphone’s. The manufacturer of those watches will launch in July the most exclusive phone that runs on Google’s platform. As for domestic facilities, the handset does not have anything to justify the price of almost 7000 dollars. Lytro: The First Camera That Allows Focusing Photos After Capturing Them

A newly established company in the United States named Lytro promises to revolutionize the photography industry and the way we take pictures. The developer is working on a camera (which will launch later this year), which will allow the user to focus images after they were seized, informs AllThingsD.

The secret behind this camera is that has a new type of sensor, which gathers much more information about the light entering the camera than the sensors found on any other digital cameras.

Instead of recording a finite amount of information about light in photography, like current sensors, the Lytro device records entire “light field”, consisting of all rays of light in a frame. This includes color intensity and direction of light rays. With this large amount of data, the focus of a photo can be adjusted using a computer in the same way we use Photoshop to adjust brightness or contrast.

This awesome sensor also allows taking photos in quite low light conditions without the need for its flash option. In addition, the new equipment will make 3D photos with a single lens, and the effect of depth can be seen without special glasses.

According to the founder and CEO of Lytro, the first camera of the company “will be a product with a competitive price that fits your pocket”, the camera will be available before the end of the year.

K – The Best Supercomputer In The World

A Japanese supercomputer, called “K”, currently occupies the first place on the list of the fastest of its kind in the world, announces the online publication Tgdaily.com.

The supercomputer, which is now only half built, has 672 racks equipped with a total of 68,544 processors. The computer has an incredibly high power, obtaining Linpack benchmark performance of 8.162 petaflop/s, and the calculation efficiency is 93%.

K surpassed the former leader of the fastest device, 500 such pc’s worldwide, Tianhe-1A, in China, which now ranks second with 2.6 petaflop/s. Last step of the podium is occupied by Jaguar, a Cray supercomputer to the U.S. Department of Energy at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, 1.75 petaflop/s.

The Japanese “K” will have over 800 shelves when it will be completed in 2012. When the system will be ready is estimated to have a petaflop computing power of 10/s. The device will be used by many research companies in many areas such as climate research, meteorological, disaster prevention and medicine.

On top of such systems in the world, Asians dominate the top 10. Thus, the 4th is Nebulae, the National Supercomputing Center of the Chinese city Shenzhen, with a capacity of 1.27 petaflop/s and on the fifth position is Tsubame 2.0, owned by Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, with a capacity of 1.19 petaflop/s.

Nokia announced the N-series future phone, a phone that will be available in a variety of colors, but the interesting part is that it will not have Windows on it but MeeGo, an open-source operating system that was not released on any device until now.

N9 will have an 8 megapixel camera capable of shooting 720p, the memory between 16 and 64 GB, 1 GB RAM, 1 GHz CPU and 3.9 AMOLED display inch with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (no other buttons on the front). iPhone 5 ‘to launch in September’

If the Asia’s component suppliers are to be believed, then we can expect the new ‘iPhone 5’ from Apple in this September. Sources suggest that the name may vary that it may be called iPhone 4G or iPhone 4S. But it is understood that the form of the device will be very similar to that of iPhone 4, which was released in summer 2010.

The people from Huawei reveal the entire set of technical specifications of the tablet that is preparing to launch. The company throws in competition the tablet with a IPS LCD touchscreen of 7 inches, running on Android Honeycomb 3.2. MediaPad has a thickness of 10.5 mm and weighs 390 grams, is lighter and thinner than the Flyer tablet, with the same 7-inch diagonal like HTC.

According to Huawei, the device will support the company’s cloud solution and the battery life will be over six hours.

Huawei MediaPad will be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz from Qualcomm. There are no details about the values of storage capacity or RAM. Camera located on back will have 5MP, while the front camera will have 1.3MP. On the connectivity part, the tablet comes equipped with WiFi, HSPA+3G and HDMI port. Pre-installed applications include Facebook, Twitter, Let’s Golf and Documents, and support for Flash 10.3.

Huawei device does not meet those specifications that we’ve hoped, therefore, the price remains the only aspect that will determine the success or failure of this tablet.

Apple has gone in for a major shift of its camera and flash features from its regular suppliers to a new Taiwanese supplier. Nokia today added to its device portfolio with the launch of three new affordable phones – the Nokia C2-02, Nokia C2-03 and Nokia C2-06.

Mary McDowell, the head of Nokia’s Mobile Phones business unit, said: “These phones all offer a web, maps and messaging experience second to none in the market. And with the choice of a touch screen or a keypad, we really have made everything available and easy to use in an affordable phone that comes in both Dual or single SIM options.”

The Nokia C2-03, the third Dual SIM phone Nokia has brought to market in the past month, comes with Nokia’s unique Dual SIM capabilities.

These include features that allow the user to personalize up to five SIM cards with a dedicated look and feel, and an Easy Swap option that lets users change SIM cards in seconds without having to turn off the phone or remove the battery.

The Nokia C2-02 is a single SIM version with a similar feature set, as well as push messaging options and a broad range of IM providers included, and the Nokia C2-06 comes in a range of fresh colors with a clean, smooth finish.

The phones all ship with new Nokia Maps for Series 40, where local maps and places of interest are pre-installed on the phone. This means users can view maps and plan routes when the phone is in offline mode, thus saving on the costs of downloading maps over the mobile network.

Internet for all
All three phones also deliver a great internet browsing experience through the data compression technology of the Nokia Browser, which keeps the costs of surfing low and speeds up page downloads – benefiting both consumers and operators. The browser loads with a localized start page, giving the user instant access to the most relevant content, and is tabbed to give easy access to favorite or previously viewed information.

“We want the web to be easy to access, fast and affordable for all,” continued McDowell. “The technology behind the Nokia Browser means that consumers, especially those new to the mobile internet, can get the information they need quickly, as the Nokia Browser serves up relevant local content – making the whole experience more personal and enjoyable.”

The three phones also pack a stereo FM radio, media player and memory support that can be expanded to a whopping 32 GB, letting users store thousands of photos, videos and music files.

The estimated retail price of the Nokia C2-02 and C2-03 is approximately EUR 75 (USD 105) and for the Nokia C2-06 it is EUR 80 (USD 112). All of the devices are expected to hit the market in the third quarter of 2011.
