"Alive" is an Android application of Times Mobile. I got to know about this application in the newspaper. The newspaper was ofcourse "Times of India". The instructions were that download this application. Open it and scan this news with the application running on.

Well I did the same thing. And it really scanned the image of the news. It was about a train in china. So after scanning it showed a video of the train and also "Read More" option was there. With this option the news can be read in digital form. Well it is really a kind of reform of whatever you are reading, you can scan using your android or Blackberry device and get to now more in a digital form. It was just an awesome experience which made my day. Its fun and resourceful information in your hands too.

Karbonn Cosmic Smart Tab10 Tablet Launched just before Christmas Eve!

Karbonn has launched another tablet. It says 10 inch but actually it is a 9.7 inch tablet. Well it is not yet available in local electronic stores, so hands on approach was not possible. But it seems overall good Processor, screen and durable Battery Life. Priced at 10,290.

Well Karbonn has started creating more and more better tablets now for sure. But the concern is that they are also increased their price of the tablets. Where as Micromax keeps it low. Lets talk about theOS and Processor of this newest tablet from Karbonn. This tablet is powered by 1.5 GHz Cortex-A9 Dual Core processor and with Android Jelly Bean OS. So an overall good software built with latest OS and good dual core processor.

The display is not exactly 10 inch but it is 9.7 inch capacitive touchscreen. The resolution of this screen is 1024 X 768 pixels. Well the multi-touch is very advanced, it supports 10 point multi-touch. Well that does really work or not will have to check when we get an hands on approach to this new beast from Karbonn. Primary camera is only 2 MP (front facing) they should had made it 3 MP. Video recording may not be much superior with an 2 MP camera for sure.

Well the internal memory specified is 3 GB. But the usable internal memory is only 1.5 GB. The rest is used by system applications. Expandable memory can be upto 32 GB using a microSD card. The connectivity of this tablet includes Wi-Fi and 3G. There is Google Chrome as an in-built browser other than the Android web browser.

Well Full HD playback is possible with KarbonnCosmic Smart Tab10 Tablet. It supports all formats including MKV which is a reformation. Well HDMI support is also there. I am happy that Karbonnhas no such prerequisites like Micromax that only tata Photon 3G dongle can be used. On this tablet the 3G dongles from Reliance 3G, Tata Photon and Vodafone can be used without any issue.

Well the battery seems powerful as it has 6000mAh capacity.

Issues: To find accessories for this tablet is currently not possible. Mainly the scratch guard and tablet case for this tablet(or this screen sized tablet) is not available in the market at the moment. The price if was less than 9,000 then I would have given it a thumbs up. No sim card slot. Hope they include this very needed feature in future tablets.

Applications in-built can be very much handy and useful. It does have Bluetooth Support. Warranty provided by company is 1 year. I think the companies which will provide a warranty of 3 years can sell more as people want electronic products more durable for sure.

Yet to be available in local electronic stores. Priced at 10,290 at online stores.

Apple`s ipad Mini and ipad 4th generation not selling much?

Apple created some revised versions of ipad. Well to be honest after the popularity of ipad it revolutionized the tablet world altogether. With this ipad, later on Apple introduced the Apple ipad 2 which became very much popular and now also has the major share of sales of apple`s tablets.

Well the newer versions of apple ipad 3rd gen also did well, but not better than ipad 2 in sales. Well the ipad 4th version and ipad mini did`nt came into market soon. That was the main reason why it lost many of the sales. If we checkout the statistical data then the ipad 3rd gen accounted to 31% of the sales.

3G Samsung Chromebook for $329 coming soon

Samsung may have unleashed about the $249 Chromebook. But it does not contain a 3G connectivity. But in the latest model of chromebook by samsung, 3G connectivity will be there. The price you have to spend more is $70. So people if you were planning to buy the $249 samsung chromebook, take a chill. Think wisely about the prominence and importance of 3G.

This new chromebook is available to be pre-ordered on Amazon. I don`t know why the name chromebook is given to this little computer. It always conflicts with Google Chrome in the mind. Samsung is trying to get free publicity with the name "Chrome" from the "chromebook" it seems! Apart from the fun this will be a great net book for the customers. My suggestion will be to buy the 3G one itself, don`t go for the $249 chromebook, it will get outdated soon.

Using this Wishlist android users can save a number of apps so that they can check them out later. It is similar to the Wishlist of Fifa football game, where in if you want to buy a player then you add it to your wishlist, so whenever you get revenue or you have the cash then you buy the player in the Manager Mode.

To a similar context this wishlist can be used to add the apps. The wishlist will help you to checkout the apps which you want to buy or download later on. Now this is a bold move by Google providing this feature. People will add the apps which they are going to buy, but are not buying it due to some reasons. So by Technary`s opinion this move will help Google to get more people in ending with buying the apps and thus will generate more revenue for Google.Upgrade notifications option is now improved, so that people will get a list of all the wanna be upgradable apps list on their Google Play.

One more important feature is that you can delete the apps from "My apps". You can get rid of all the apps which are shown in My apps after downloading them. $755 Million loss for Nokia in third Quarter

Nokia was a prominent mobile brand few years ago. But in the age of android it has lost its shine. It has lost its sales and so it has lost revenue too. If compared to the last quarter sales of Nokia, It has got a $755 loss. As per the nokia results the statistics are quite devastating for Nokia. The sales have dropped and the revenue too. The main task of Nokia is now to make something new, innovative to drive people to buy their products. CEO of Nokia said that they had difficult times the last quarter.

How to install WhatsApp on S40 series Nokia C3 phone?

Hello S40 Users,

After much hardwork I could install and run WhatsApp on my S40 series phone Nokia C3.

I would like to share my experience with you which could help you in solving your WhatsApp problems.

The basic problem of WhatsApp not running on your S40 phone might be the compatibility issues of WhatsApp application with your phone's software.

Hence I recommend you to follow the following steps for a complete WhatsApp installation on your phone.

Step 1 :- First and foremost download Nokia Ovi Suite on your PC.

Step 2 :- After the Suite installation connect your phone to the PC, take the backup of all the

important data of your phone on your PC using Nokia Ovi Suite.

Step 3 :- Now you need to make a hard reset of your phone's software. This can be done by typing

*#7370# and then pressing the call button.

Step 4 :- Follow the mentioned instructions and complete the reset.

Step 5 :- After reset is done, again connect your phone to the PC and connect to the Internet. Open

Nokia Ovi Suite and type WhatsApp Messenger as a search query.

Step 6 :- You would get theaccurate search result. Press on Download & Install to download

WhatsApp application setup on your phone.

Step 7 :- After Downloading the setup, keep it as it. DO NOT RUN THE SETUP ON YOUR

PHONE.

Step 8 :- Now follow the following instructions as per your mobile provider -

A. For “Airtel” or “Tata Docomo” users :
1. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Preferred Access Point. Select Mobile Office.
2. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Default config settings. Delete the config settings.
3. Reboot your phone.

B. For “BSNL” users:
1. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Preferred Access Point. Select BSNLLIVE.
2. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Default config settings. Delete the config settings.
3. Reboot your phone.

C. For “Vodafone” users :
1. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Preferred Access Point. Select Vodafone Mobile Connect.
2. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Default config settings. Delete the config settings.
3. Reboot your phone.

D. For “Idea” users:
1. Go to Settings -> Configuration -> Default Config Settings and select Idea Internet
2. Go back to Configuration and then to Preferred access pt, and select Idea Internet
3. Restart your phone.

Step 9 :- After the reboot is done, NOW run the WhatsApp setup and complete the installation.

Possible problems faced -

I. During the installation you might face an HTTP Server #54 Error. In that case the Internet of your mobile phone might not be activated or the mobile provider's server might be down. In such a case contact your mobile provider's customer care and reboot your phone again. Start the installation again using the WhatsApp setup downloaded.

II. You might receive an HTTP Server #61 Error. In this case delete the existing WhatsApp setup and reinstall it using the Ovi Suite.

Some quick tips you might need -

I. There is a case where your WhatsApp installation might complete successfully but still you might not be able to use it. In such a situation inform your friends (who are using WhatsApp) to send you messages from WhatsApp continuously. There is a possibility that due to overloading of receiving messages, your WhatsApp might automatically get connected to the chat server.

II. During the WhatsApp installation process on your phone it might ask you for mobile verification number. After pressing OK even if you don't receive the verification code don't worry, your WhatsApp might run successfully on your phone without the verification. You can later complete the verification by following the given process:

For the process of complete verification of your number, send SMS to 1(408) 306-2615*from* the mobile number you tried to register with for WhatsApp and type your email address ONLY in the SMS message.
For example : contact@technary.com (the automated system will send you the code via email once we they receive your SMS).
Please Note: If you are reading this on iPhone, just tap on the sms://14083062615. If you don’t get the code in 12 hours, be sure to check your Spam folder first.

I followed these steps and I now can properly use WhatsApp on my Nokia C3 phone.
I suggest and expect you to follow the above mentioned steps in the exact chronology and hope this would successfully install and run WhatsApp on your S40 series phone.
