<p>Our client is an international vendor of auto dealer solution software with experience in implementation, development and technical support. Their software products have been certified by a significant number of automotive manufacturers and they are growing their business in Canada quickly. We are presently looking for a Sales Rep to sell this software to dealerships across the Maritimes. Ideal candidates should be situated within close proximity to the major cities and have established dealership contacts with Dealer Principals and owners. This role includes canvassing and sales development. Our client provides all the administrative support, logistic and marketing required in your functions. This is a full-time position which involves a significant amount of travel to dealerships on a regular basis. Bilingualism would be a significant asset in this role.</p>



<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>



<p>The successful candidate will have more than five years in the sales field, ideally with some experience selling CRM, DMS or F&amp;I solutions to dealerships.</p>



<p>Knowledge of the car and/or truck dealership field is also a required asset.</p>



<p>Candidates must have the ability to work independently; self-starters are welcomed.</p>

<p>Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting to, and closing sales to heavy truck dealers. As well, you’ll be the primary field contact responsible for the satisfaction, retention, growth and profitability of assigned accounts.</p>
<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>• Driving new business – Prospecting and closing new business<br />
• Develop and execute targeted plans and strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets<br />
• Maintain a business development pipeline using CRM on a timely basis<br />
• Grow revenue and market share to meet or exceed sales quota for assigned regions</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>• A solid track record in sales or account management of software and services solutions or other related products to the heavy truck dealer marketplace is mandatory. We are looking for a rep that knows this business community well and has established contacts in the field.<br />
• Knowledge of (and strong rapport with) dealership personnel in the sales region.<br />
• Demonstrated knowledge of account management and/or sales processes, sales tools and negotiation tactics.<br />
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under deadline pressure.<br />
• Able to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced technology organization.<br />
• Competency with a variety of computer programs to track results and communicate effectively<br />
• Must be able to travel a significant amount of the time.</p>

We are looking for a software engineer to develop and maintain a desktop MS-Word plug-in as well as  to develop the equivalent application for the web-based Office 365 environment. The individual will manage all aspects of design, development, implementation, deployment and support for these applications. </p>
<p>This well-funded firm is forecasting considerable growth and expansion to 25 or more employees in Toronto with three to five years. As their initial employee, considerable advancement potential exists with this position. The appropriate individual would be given the opportunity to assist in hiring and training future additions to the development team. Work with some of the USA&#8217;s leading development talent and assist their future growth into cloud-based solutions.</p>
<p>Skills desired: </p>
<p>5-7 years&#8217; experience in software development, ideally with some time working for a software provider<br />
Strong experience in C#, Visual Studio and WPF development<br />
Experience with the Office Interop API<br />
Experience in web development and JavaScript.<br />
Experience with MS-Office development and/or Office 365 is a bonus (but not required)<br />
Familiarity with installers such as InstallShield and Microsoft&#8217;s ClickOnce deployment would also be useful<br />
Ability to work remotely and to communicate well and work effectively with co-workers</p>

They are offering a full-time opportunity for a financial software training professional to perform hands-on training during their implementation process as well as deliver services-related work with regional clients that are either upgrading or purchasing new installations of their DMS software. </p>
<p>You will be a member of a team focused on providing and testing customer set-up, conducting training sessions and following up on customer concerns. You will travel to client sites in both Canada and the United States, typically spending 50-65% of your work time visiting clients. Some of the training can be done online. </p>
<p>Qualifications:<br />
• Ideally, a minimum 3 years automotive dealership experience in an accounting related position preferred<br />
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of dealership staff<br />
• Able to analyze, and communicate customer business processes<br />
• Excellent customer service skills<br />
• Computer literacy within the Microsoft Windows environment (MS-Office)<br />
• Solid verbal and written communication and organizational skills<br />
• Results and detail-oriented with strong time management skills<br />
• Experience implementing dealership systems would be an asset<br />
• Change management experience would be an asset<br />
• Post secondary degree or college equivalent certification, or equivalent experience an asset.<br />
• Training and/or teaching experience and/or project management experience would be an asset  </p>
