Cascading Style sheet or CSS is one of the most used and convenient way of coding the mark up languages. Most of the websites are built on an HTML platform and hence it is important for us that the CSS is also correctly applied so that the information that the website wants to transmit to its viewers is correct. But, designers often commit fundamental mistakes that can make things go terribly wrong for a website. The css-faq.com mentions some of the common mistakes occurred in CSS known as CSS Mistakes.

You don’t waste bytes by adding units such as px, pt, em, etc, when the value is zero. The only reason to do so is when you want to change the value quickly later on, otherwise declaring the unit is meaningless. Zero pixels is the same as zero points. In order to get the accurate choice of the color, you must specify the hex code rather than writing the color in plain English. Never forget to add hash # at the start of the code so that it can be parsed correctly. Otherwise, you will have to remember to add another hash to prevent errors.

Unless you are likely to be changing your code much, avoid using several lines when only one line can serve your purpose. For example, when setting borders, some people set each side separately when each border is the same. So condensing the code is required here. It is okay to style the same element twice, if it means avoiding the repetition mentioned in the point above. For example, let’s say you have an element where only the left border is different. Instead of writing out each border using four lines, just use two.
But sometimes designers like to waste a lot of space in their code, by using plenty of unnecessary line-breaks or spaces before and after code. It’ll only make the stylesheet bigger, meaning it’ll cost you more in the long run, as your bandwidth usage will be higher. Of course it’s wise to leave some space in to keep it readable, though some people like to condense everything, leaving no space at all.
Designers must be careful about some common mistakes so that they can design the web pages in a proper manner and convey the message to its reader correctly.

Travel laptops require more consideration on top of the usual factors involved in buying a laptop, such as performance, price and warranty. Getting a system that is light is critical. With widescreen models becoming more popular, whilst great for viewing, it just adds weight to the system. If you are not into watching movies or complex graphics, a smaller screen should be fine.

While the price of laptops compared to desktops has shrunk recently, you will still pay slightly more for a laptop. With laptops reasonably difficult to expand or upgrade, its a good idea to add more memory or get a bigger hard drive at the time of purchase. Your system should have at least two USB 2.0 ports, as this will be the main way of connecting to external devices.

If you are a frequent traveler and want to use your laptop while flying, there are some other design issues you might want to consider. Widescreen laptops can be a hassle if you are in the coach section, as there is hardly enough room to open the machine. A system with external controls for volume and Wi-Fi can also be good, to avoid annoying other passengers or interfering with the aircrafts navigational system. For really long flights, a second battery is probably the most cost effective way of keeping your system powered up.

As laptops are more likely to be damaged or stolen while on the road, it is a good idea to have a backup plan. Do a regular backup so if something bad does happen, you dont lose too much data. The easiest way to do this is to buy a laptop with a built in DVD burner. One DVD disc should be more than enough to store your work data. You could also use a CD burner, but you would probably need to carry multiple discs. If you only have a small amount of files you need to backup, a USB flash drive would also do the job.

Laptops that are on the road regularly are more likely to break down. So invest in a good quality carry case to limit any potential damage in transit, and always keep your backups up to date.

Most warranties these days are only twelve months, so if there is an extended warranty available, it may be worth taking up if you are constantly on the road.

The Ice Giants of Everfrost are a very good source of Platinum. The Ice Giants are mid to high 40 Levels. They have around 3-4K HP or so. They can hit around 114 and they triple hit and duel wield. They are warriors. There are 3 of them that guard the entrance to Permafrost. The camps are referred to as North, South, and Back. Camp names can very from server to server. They can be duo’d by a few mid to low lvl 40′s full group of high thirties, or soloed by 45+ for the soloing classes. They can be good source of Xp at lvl 45 and under. They are light blue by the time you reach mid 50′s.

These Ice Giants are Blue and look as though they are made of Ice. They drop fine steel weapons, gems, pages, and various pieces of junk jewelry. Combined with what they drop and the pure Platinum,Gold,Siver, and Copper that they drop: they range in net worth of 2-70pp per kill.

Many times these may be camped already by other people. But if you do a camp check and find out who is camping they will usually be more then happy to send you a tell before they leave so you can take over the camp. Politeness always gets you a camp, sooner or later. Casting a few beneficial buffs on the persons camping earns browning points too. =) Another near by source of Platinum while you wait for a camp are the Woolly Mammoths that roam around Everfrost. Their Tusk go to vendors for around 9PP each and sometimes they drop 2 of them. So if you wait around for a camp whooly mammoths are a good way to keep busy and make some plat in your waiting time. The spawn time of the Ice Giants is about 5 minutes. So if you kill them in 60 seconds then you will be able too kill about 11-12 an hour. So you can easily get 300-800pp an hour here. These camps are great for if you can’t be on a raid because of going afk frequently and such. After you kill your spawn you can go afk for 4 minutes and come back in time to see the spawn

The Easiest way to get to the Ice Giants is to get to Everfrost by the Halas Stone in the Plane of Knowledge. It’s found through the gate behind and to the left of the Nexus Stone. The Halas stone will take you to Everfrost near the Halas zone line. It is a safe stone for all races/classes. Once you are in in Everfrost you will be facing the PoK Book. Right from the book as you are facing it. You will come to a ‘Y’ in the path take the path on the right of the ‘Y’ don’t take the path on the very far Right though. Then you just stay on the path and you will past two Halas Guards and a wolf. If you are evil you can invis past or Run way up high on the mountain past them. Then you just stay to the left of the zone line the entire way to PF. You will pass 2 ice rivers and then eventually come to a big Brick Fort. This is where the Ice Giants are located there are two guards one on the left and one on the right just inside the fort. They are far enough apart that you can pull them separately. Down the Hall past those two is the ‘Back’ camp. The giants spawns in an area on the right. This Hall leads to the Permafrost zone line.

Before you head to your camp be sure that you have all your slots filled with Backpacks, or even better 10 Slot handmade back backs. This way you can loot till your hearts content. Also, you will get Encumbered while you are here. Destroy your copper on a regular basis to cut down on weight issues. But after a few hours it won’t matter anymore as you become snared by the loot you are hoarding. It’s truly wonderful. And also remember to bring food and drink as you will be at the camp for several hours. Happy Hunting and remember: the Only good Ice Giant is a Dead ONE!

To pass the BSCI exam and earn your CCNP, you’ve got to know ISIS inside and out. There are many similarities between ISIS and OSPF, but one major difference is that ISIS has three different types of routers – Level 1 (L1), Level 2 (L2), and L1/L2.

L1 routers are contained in a single area, and are connected to other areas by an L1/L2 router. The L1 uses the L1/L2 router as a default gateway to reach destinations contained in other areas, much like an OSPF stub router uses the ABR as a default gateway.

L1 routers have no specific routing table entries regarding any destination outside their own area; they will use an L1/L2 router as a default gateway to reach any external networks. ISIS L1 routers in the same area must synchronize their databases with each other.

Just as we have L1 routers, we also have L2 routers. Anytime we’re routing between areas (inter-area routing), an L2 or L1/L2 router must be involved. All L2 routers will have synchronized databases as well.

Both L1 and L2 routers send out their own hellos. As with OSPF, hello packets allow ISIS routers to form adjacencies. The key difference here is that L1 routers send out L1 hellos, and L2 routers send out L2 hellos. If you have an L1 router and an L2 router on the same link, they will not form an adjacency.

An ISIS router can act as an L1 and an L2 router at the same time; these routers are L1/L2 routers. An L1/L2 router can have neighbors in separate ISIS areas. The L1/L2 router will have two separate databases, though – one for L1 routes and another for L2 routes. L1/L2 is the default setting for Cisco routers running ISIS. The L1/L2 router is the router that makes it possible for an L1 router to send data to another area.

In the next part of my ISIS tutorial, we’ll take a more detailed look at those ISIS hellos!

Today Nokia announced a new commercial DVB-H pilot in Stockholm with Teracom in Sweden. Nokia is supplying the Nokia Mobile Broadcast System 3.0 and Nokia N92 mobile TV devices to the pilot which will last from October to December 2006 and includes 400 consumers. The project is a co-operation between ATG, Boxer, Nokia, Sveriges Radio, Sveriges Television/UR, Telenor and Teracom.

The pilot participants will be able to watch fourteen TV channels and listen to four radio channels in the Stockholm city region, where a network has been built for high quality indoor and outdoor coverage. The objective is to evaluate what Swedish consumers think about commercial broadcast mobile TV.

ATG, Boxer, Sveriges Radio and Sveriges Television will provide content for the pilot. The test will be delivered using Nokia Mobile Broadcast Solution 3.0, and the pilot participants will use mobile devices from Nokia, the Nokia N92. Teracom will be responsible for the network, the broadcast and operating of the platform.

“We strongly believe in the capability of the DVB-H technology as well as in the mobile TV service, and we are looking forward to presenting the full potential and interest of broadcast mobile TV in Sweden,” says Sigurd Leth, Multimedia Director for Nokia Nordic.

DVB-H technology complements existing operator networks, optimizing capacity and quality. It offers consumers the chance to enjoy high quality terrestrial digital broadcasts along with voice telephony and internet access all in a single device. Broadcast mobile TV will offer new business opportunities for mobile service providers, content and broadcast companies, infrastructure and handset manufacturers as well as technology providers.

This is the second mobile TV pilot in Sweden where Nokia is one of the main suppliers of DVB-H technology. Last week, Nokia announced a new contract with TeliaSonera Sweden for a complete DVB-H pilot system, including Nokia Mobile Broadcast System 3.0 and Nokia N92 mobile TV devices, underpinned by Nokia’s hosting and systems integration know-how.

The feedback from different mobile TV pilots has been promising. Results from pilots on broadcast (DVB-H) mobile TV services amongst consumers in Finland, the UK, Spain and France have revealed clear consumer demand for such services as well as important indications over future business models for commercial mobile TV services.

Whether you are jogging, shopping at the grocery store, working out at the gym, or working, you are constantly seeing people listening to an MP3 player. If you do not have one yet, then you are behind the times. MP3 players are the best way to tote your music from place to place, and listen to it everywhere that you go. Now that you know you must go out and get an MP3 player as soon as possible, here are a few tips to consider when you are buying one.

Price This is usually one of the most important criteria when you are buying any item, but the price of an MP3 player can vary greatly depending on the many features that are available on an MP3 player. You should try to maximize the amount of features you can get for the best price. Prices of MP3 players usually start around $75 and go up to around $1000 and sometimes even more. You can often find MP3 players for much less, though, during a sale or promotion.

Size The size of an MP3 player can also vary greatly. The smaller the size of the MP3 player the more expensive it is, but other things like the type of memory can also cause the size of an MP3 player to change. If you must have a very small MP3 player, then you might have to give up some features that the larger MP3 players provide.

Screen Size & Clarity The screen is also another very important aspect of an MP3 player. The screen is where all of the song information will be displayed. Also if your MP3 player allows pictures or music videos, they will appear here as well. The more clear and larger the screen the more your MP3 player will cost.

Memory Type The type and size of memory that an MP3 player has will determine the amount of songs the MP3 player will be able to hold. The memory type can also affect the way the MP3 player will react to movement. An MP3 player with an internal hard drive will be able to hold the most songs, but it will make the MP3 player larger, and also might skip if you go jogging, or work out at the gym while listening to it. Flash memory on the other hand will not hold as many songs, but the MP3 player will be very small, and it will not skip at all, even under the roughest conditions.

Battery Life The battery life of your MP3 player is also very important, because you want to listen to your music, not sit and watch it charging. Some batteries will last for 4 5 hours, while others will last more than a day for your listening pleasure. You will also want to find out if the MP3 player uses an A/C adapter to charge, or if it can be charged by plugging it in to a USB port on your computer.

Accessories Some MP3 players have a large variety of different accessories that will make it more stylish than anyone elses. Some common accessories are headphones, carrying cases, docking stations, and also necklaces to carry your MP3 player on. Depending on your fashion sense you might want to pick out an MP3 player with more accessories, so you can make sure that you stand out in a crowd.

Whether you go for the price as point for search number 1, or for the size as the most important factor, or for the memory type, or the accessories, at http://www.discussMP3.com
you can be certain to find the new MP3 player you are seeking, and at the most discounted prices at that.

The small piece of circuit board, which is usually located underneath the plastic shell of your laptops screen casing, is probably the cause of one of the most common problems related to screen failure and, more specifically, dimness, or darkness to the screen itself.

The main purpose of the inverter is basically to give power to the backlight. The way it works is simple, it takes power from the laptop itself by a small inverter lead that runs from the motherboard of the laptop, sometimes it is a direct lead on its own, other times this lead can be connected into the inverter through the LCD cable (the lead that runs from the motherboard to the back of the screen itself), giving the screen its visual display.

At one end of the inverter, usually the left end, the lead that gives it power is plugged into a small white socket and from the other end, usually the right side, the backlight lead from the screen is plugged into another white socket. The backlight is a very small, thin, long, very delicate light bulb that runs along the very bottom or sometimes the side of the screen.

The problems related to the inverter is dimness or darkness to the screen in most cases or flickering of the backlight. Sometimes it can stop the screen form working at all but not usually. A common fault with laptop screens is a dark or dim screen, generally it is assumed that it is the backlight that is at fault, sometimes this may be correct, however more often or not it is simply the inverter not working, or not giving the backlight the power it needs. The inverter is usually cheaper to replace than the backlight, as the backlight is very fragile and can be easily broken. On some occasions a repair of the inverter is possible, although usually labour charges on fixing the inverter can sometimes lead up to being more expensive than simply replacing it.

When it comes to purchasing an inverter most companies will require the part number which is usually printed on a bar code on the outside of the inverter but sometimes you may need to look carefully to find it. If your lucky then you may get away with just stating what your laptop make and model is, for example I have an IBM Thinkpad T22 and I need an inverter, we try our hardest to locate the inverter with just these details, however sometimes you will need to provide the part number; here is an example of a part number from the inverter for an IBM Thinkpad T22, (10L1402). This inverter is also compatible with the IBM T21, and T20 all three laptops as a whole are basically the same apart from the processor.

Ive previously posted an article to farming Arcanist Doan. Well here is an upgraded version using a hunter and a mage. This strategy is much more effective but requires 2 players. You’re both required to be at least level 54 or if youre well geared and think youre an awesome player then probably level 50 should work fine.

To start, enter through Scarlet Monastery library side. The mage needs to enter first and make yourself through the mobs. The mage is good because you can blink around them. You can easily teleport from one side of a mob to another mob with your blink ability. Once you’ve received Arcanist Doan you’ll need to wait for the hunter to get through.

The hunter starts little bit after the mage starts. Once you’ve entered, turn on your aspect of monkey. It will help you dodge enemy strikes oftenly. When you get some mobs on you, just run through and feign death. Thats it, they’re all are cheated and you can wait for cool down and make your way through the guards again until you get to Arcanist Doan. Killing Arcanist Doan should be a piece of cake with two players. Just be sure to avoid detonation when he casts it. As mentioned on the previous guide, flee back before he casts and charge back at him when hes over. One of you should be an enchanter to maximize your profits.

He drops 2 blue items, which disenchants in shard that could be sold for 6 gold pieces each, its about 12 gold per one run. Blizzard created an anti-instance farming system that only allows you to do 5 runs per hour, which is equivalent to 60 gold. Divide that with your friend and youll still get a good 30 gold pieces for yourself. The previous guide listed with the Rogue can get you about 20 gold pieces per hour. This one is 33% more effective.
