border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421390467934170450" />
Its New Year time once again. As always this year too, Google have compiled a top ten list of popular search items on its hugely popular Internet search engine. The Zeitgeist, as it is widely known in the cyber world, is a compilation of the top search items that flooded the Internet domain in the previous year.

Let us now look at the top Google searches of 2009.The whole Internet fraternity all across the world searched for these items frequently to make these search items enter the top ten list of the Google this year-end.

To top the list at number one is the phenomenal social networking website called “Twitter”. Previously, Facebook and My Space were the only noteworthy social networking domains on the Internet to feature regularly on Google’s top ten. However, this year, it is Twitter all the way. In fact, it developed as a new culture altogether called “tweeting”.

The Moon-walker is no more but he still tops the chart of most popular Internet searches in 2009. Michael Jackson still rules the roost. After his sad demise in late June this year, the Internet is flooded with queries on the late King of Pop. His premature death catapulted him to feature in the top ten list of Google this year-end.

The other eight top search names in Google’s year-end Internet review includes -Facebook , Hulu, Glee , Hi5, Paranormal Phenomena, Natasha Richardson , Farrah Fawcett, and Lady Gaga respectively.
This exclusive list entails Google’s Fastest Rising Internet searches and reflects on events, topics, people and products that made headlines and dealt a screaming impact on our collective search consciousness.

What does a digital camera do with a Wi-Fi? With a wireless digital camera you can ably connect to a wireless network without any cables.

It is a way of transferring images to your computer from a digital camera. Transfer is also possible in printer or even in the Internet. A Wi-Fi digital camera provides the same advantage as a mobile camera does.

This wireless digital camera allows you to download photos, save it and print it whenever required. Sharing of photos is even possible by connecting it to a cellular network.

Functions of a Wi-Fi Camera:

A wireless computer networking technology known as 802.11b and g is used for the Wi-Fi cameras to make a connection with a wireless network. At home or at work if you are using a wireless network you can easily connect a Wi-Fi enabled digital camera to download your photos without a cable.

During the year 2005, it was Kodak who first announced a wireless-enabled digital camera at the CES tradeshow. Following Kodak, Canon and Nikon started shipping their Wi-Fi digital cameras from the same time. The Kodak EasyShare is regarded as the most exceptional camera because its features are more like a PDA than a camera. Frankly Wizards are the tools that make a user’s life easier. But can we apply the same concept when we are dealing with Data Backup? Hopefully the answer will be no. Without going into any debate it is better to discuss the most important parameters when performing a Data Backup.

1. The wizard or the application allows you to perform a set of verification of the backup job.
2. Point your mouse on the box and tick verify check box.
3. Make sure you know the log files location.
4. Enable its logging features.
5. If your destination location is a remote storage host such as a pen drive, the application gives you permission to encrypt the backed up data.
6. Don’t forget to enable all the job status feature.

In the application wizard if you don’t find these options then definitely you have to go and search them.

Another important task for the Data Backup process is to perform a restore test operation from time to time. For continuing this process you have to first select a previous backup set. After selecting it perform the restore operation to an alternate location. Remember if you are trying to take the Data Backup to the original location you would have to overwrite it with the older ones. Verify that the data is accessible and complete after the test restore operation check. The test restore operation checks that the restored files are not corrupted.

Besides, when your partner puts the glass to lips, white LED sensors on your glass rim will glow instantly, as a result you can say when your loved one takes a sip.

According to a Media Lab researcher, these Wi-Fi glasses will help people feel as if they are sharing a drinking experience together.
Already dubbed “lover's cups” these cool Wi-Fi wine glasses, are all set to make your New Year celebration a memorable one. Happy Printing!

You may just rejoice, feel glad or ignore but Google has become a kind of a spectacle in the ever expanding world of Internet.

Rather than waiting for something to happen the researchers of the giant search engine believes in making things happen. No this is not propaganda for the tech giant but facts which one should take note of. In one of the firm’s latest moves, it has introduced the personalized search option for every user which can be branded as a Christmas and a New Year bonanza. In order to use and benefit from this option you do not need to have a Google account.

From now every search query on Google will be thoroughly surveyed and the entire statistics collected for future use. An anonymous cookie will be launched in your browser which will track all your searches. If you want to revert back to the searches anytime and find something important, a list would show up and help your cause. It would be very difficult to delete this cookie as in that case all others have to be removed. But if you don’t want it at all there is an opt out option made available for you. After all Google follows the policy of customer satisfaction strictly and the pros and cons of the feature have been discussed comprehensively in the boardroom before its launch.

Olympus, one of the leaders in digital imaging is all set to launch its latest Digital Camera, Mju 9000. This latest offering form the digital imaging powerhouse packs enough punch to blow your mind this New Year.

Designed to drive away competition by bringing remote objects nearer, the Mju 9000 sports a robust 10x optical zoom in a considerably thin body.

You may not be a huge fan of futuristic Digital Cameras, still the artist in you will appreciate the modernist design of this unique digital camera.

Olympus Mju9000 snugly fits between vintage and modern look with its square design and blocky rostrum coupled with a considerable lens barrel, roofed in a glossy black plastic and reflective exterior.
Olympus kept things nominal with only a small number of buttons to opt for. It shares space with the dual memory card slots. Instead of supporting SD cards, the Olympus Mju9000 Digital Camera takes Micro SD cards. This facility could be handy, even if you run out of card memory and your cell phone supports a MicroSD card.
This unique Digital Camera provides a “hi-speed mode” that clicks 11 shots in just two seconds. Are you familiar with the browser in due course popping out an error message after a lot of time?

There is a quick fix that will eventually gift you with PC Speedup and protect your browser from any type of Internet scams. Whether you are using a dial up connection or using on a DSL, the solution will work.

The PC Speedup or speedup of Internet is possible through a solution known as OpenDNS. The working principle is discussed below:

Sometimes PC Speedup has nothing to do with slow Internet connection. The connection at several times gets slow due to searching of the right website. Out of millions of connected servers, the Internet uses Domain Name Systems to choose the right one you are searching for.

Separated by periods an IP address or an Internet address is stored as a unique group of four numbers. For example, the IP address of Yahoo is 209.131.36.158. If in any case instead of using Yahoo url in the web browser, you can use the IP address. The result will be the same. In both case you will be brought to the Yahoo page.

When you are trying to type a domain name into your browser, your computer tries to obtain the IP address from the DNS caching server of the Internet. If the IP address is available then you will be sent to the right website, but if it is not available then opening a website may take time because a request will be sent to another name server.

So keep patience and make your computing a happy experience.

It is really frustrating when you are constantly trying to send an Email and constantly you receive the same message again and again.

After spending hours with online research it will guide us towards the most common causes for Email returns or bounce backs. Following are such issues discussed below:

1. Many users block the Emails with hyperlinks, advertisements, website addresses, custom signatures, free emoticons or screensavers. These are considered as spam according to many email providers.
2. Your Email server continuously checks the SPAM emails that have been blocked. This checking and re checking is an automated process.
3. Through this checking and rechecking process it is checked whether the sender is truly an Email Spammer or actually following the rules and guidelines.
4. After completing the total checking the mail is unblocked and is considered as qualified.

Once the sender has unblocked, the emails are blocked and are not stored and re-sent. They are sent to the cyber-space forever.

Now if you are trying to send something which has a great importance, consider all the forms of communication that the Email providers possess. Back it up with some other means which can be an IM message or follow up on Twitter or on other social networks.

Earlier, Samsung Electronics suffered a setback when a senior ruling issued the electronic giant an ultimatum to settle disputes with Eastman Kodak Co. over a patent deal on its LED display units for their advanced range of Digital Cameras.

According to a latest report from the Digital Camera industry, Samsung Electronics, one of the biggest names in the field of hi-tech electronic gadgets, approved Kodak an undisclosed amount of money as a payment to resolve their patent deal.

Samsung, the household name in the domain of digital imaging has reportedly agreed to pay this lump sum amount to Kodak, which will further be credited from a cross-licensing agreement between the two leading players in the Digital Camera circuit.
A report from Dow Jones, confirmed that following the dispute between the two tech-giants, shares in Kodak were up by 3.7%, whereas, shares in Samsung were not so enterprising. Samsung however, objected to this news quoting it as an insensible rumor.

Only this month, a judge representing the International Trade Commission dealt Samsung a blow in the suit, ruling that the electronic giant had infringed on two separate Kodak patents. That decision would be further sent to the full commission, which would decide when to advocate the ruling.

Earlier, Kodak filed suit against both LG Electronics and Samsung, but later settled with LG. According to their settlement, Kodak accepted a deal to sell its organic LED display units to LG.

This technology makes Digital Camera screens more thinner and energy efficient than regular LED screens. It also set up a cross-licensing settlement with LG that would give both the companies wide access patents of one another, plus the royalties.
According to the latest reports, the particulars of Kodak's possible settlement with Samsung weren't disclosed. However, you can certainly guess that once executed, they will certainly drop the patent case.

With Christmas already setting in, you can well imagine the duel between Samsung and Kodak stealing all the attention in the Digital Camera world. Just wrap your Christmas garb and wait for more interesting news to roll out from the world of digital imaging.

When you start vacuuming, everyone in your house can hear you. How would you feel if this job of sucking up dust comes with a fun spin on it? Well Electrolux has come up with a new concept of vacuum cleaner known as Silent Vacuum. Today music means iPod thus Electrolux put an iPod dock and integrated speakers in its vacuum cleaner.

The Silent Vacuum is simply a step up from the UltraSilencer, a model that is readily available. Blending of music and vacuuming together is a great option. Two things that make the noise normally associated with a normal vacuum cleaner are, its motor and the air that is swooshing around the internal pipes and bends.

Electrolux Silent Air Technology straightens many twists and hangs the motor to keep it isolated, suspending it by its own suction. It will keep your iPod safe.
People dance to the rhythm, and move their hips which results more calorie burn, getting the job done faster by having a great time. From then onwards it has improved its connection performance with its boost up signal. Millions of wireless devices are enhancing their use through the Wi-Fi technology used in homes and offices.

Are you happy with the wireless connection you are using? If not then try the numerous processes which will lead you towards an improved performance of Wi-Fi connection. If you are unable to receive the full signal bar then too you don’t have to get worried as it also includes several processes to improve.

Following are some steps which can provide you an aid towards improvement of the entire performance of a Wi-Fi network and receiving signals:

1. First make sure that you are getting the most of your wireless router. Preferably the wireless routers or switches have to be placed on wall.
2. Use different channel of Wi-Fi connections. Same wireless connection can create conflict between two channels leading to a decreased performance.

Following these measures will obviously recover your connection. But in case if Wi-Fi network does not show you any sign of revival then it is recommended to update your connection.

Consider acquiring a new draft-n technology or purchasing a new router which consists of Multiple Inputs Multiple Outputs. A MIMO is specially designed for covering a greater range than normal 802.11g standard outputs. It also improves the speed and increases to ten times than what it normally possesses.

If things are not improved even after all these measures, then it is recommended to update your wireless router / access point. Consider buying new router with Multiple input multiple output (MIMO), or draft-n technology. Their routers are specially designed for greater range then normal 802.11g standard routers, and also improves speed up to ten times.

The Internet giant Google recently launched its much anticipated application suite called “Google Voice”, that is sure to add dimension to your festive celebration.

A recent report from the industry confirms that Google Voice is ready to add a new version of its applications this Christmas for the business class users.
Grand Central, a phone management service, acquired by the Internet giant way back in 2007, hasn’t been in news much lately. It's relaunch as Google Voice just before the Christmas hints speculation of a probable technical makeover from the Internet powerhouse.

According to an industry source, Google is gearing up to add a brand new version of “Google Voice” for its customers before the Christmas season gets over. It’s only a matter of time that the Internet giant currently catering “Voice applications” to its business-clients will extend its domain to the private users.
Currently more than 20 million people and over 2 million businesses use Google Apps. “Google Voice” gives its users a unique telephone number that can be redirected to any mobile, landline or VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

VoIP in general term refers to an advanced method of transmission technologies needed to deliver voice communications across IP networks like the Internet or packed-switched networks.

The new Google Voice number when activated to your personal settings will ring simultaneously across your home landline and as well as multiple mobile phones.
The Google Voice application uses the Internet giant’s very own Android software to effectively take over the phone for all outbound calls and text messages, too.
The consumer service is expected to roll out earlier next year, however, the enterprise version, is ready to hit the Christmas shelves.

A simpler version of this service from the Internet leader would provide a single phone number to the users. An automated operator would divert the calls through an extension to all employee phones. Just dial a single number this festive weekend and wish your loved ones a very “Merry Christmas”.
