That is more than the GDP of the 28 poorest countries in the world, combined! Even though they are the poorest on the planet, most of these countries hover around 1 billion dollars a year, although some just barely.
One may ask, where does Google make all their money? Most would think the money comes from all the services and products they offer. The answer to that is no. Google makes most of its money from advertisements.

Google AdWords features key words that visitors can click on, with each click putting money in Google's deep pocket. A few of these popular key words are insurance, loans and mortgage. Wait a minute. Those three seem to be closely related and just a touch shady!
Google doesn't just make money out of thin air by running these advertisements. Its the 1 billion, completely unique visitors that use Google every month. That's 1 in 7 people on the entire planet using Google!

From: Business MBA

Business Cards vs Pokens - the Latter Has Won the Battle

With the advent of this new era of technology, it seems almost everything has gone digital. From
Television broadcasting to Mobile communication, digitalization has been supreme and how can
business cards can be left behind?

Pokens have definitely taken over when it comes to exchanging business cards for sharing social media
information. Putting things simpler, pokens are digital business cards as the information is stored in
a small device (It looks like a key). Once you touch the poken palms, the information is exchanged
within a few seconds (Both should have the poken device). If you want to transfer all that social media
information into your PC or desktop, it was never any easier. You can insert the poken device into your
desktop or laptop and it’s a matter of few seconds to copy all the data that you want.

Get Introduced to Hi-Four

Well, poken has got a palm like structure; however, it has a finger less than a human palm. Exchanging
information via poken is done via touching the poken palms & this process has got a name for itself,
thanks to the users. The process is called Hi-Four now.

Environment Friendly

What do you do while getting the business cards for your business? You probably order those from
some local supplier or from some reputed companies like Vista Print or PsPrint depending on your
budget? (Well, that being said, getting business cards from a reputed company is not that costly
anymore as there are numerous discount coupons available throughout the internet).

Pokens save you the cost of printing hundreds, if not thousands of business cards. Apart from the money
factor, it definitely saves a lot of papers, thus it is getting more popularity among environmentalist
business entrepreneurs.

Poken Personalities

If you want the poken representing yourself to give the other person an idea of your mood and taste,
you are not out of options:

If you are one who attends social media events at a regular basis, PokenSPARK is the ideal
option for you. This is available in 18 different colors and you are bound to find one in your
favorite color. There are different names to describe these various personalities as well, such as:
alien, black ninja, kitty cat etc.

•

•

If you are a rather mature business associate, a good option for you should be PokenPulse. The
color is black and it has an additional 2GB of flash memory inside the device.

PokenTAG also comes handy for many; it is an electronic sticker that stores digital documents
and multimedia files inside it. It is fully customizable by the user.

•

Enabling a poken

After you buy your poken, you have to register the same into the account that you have in the official
website. After that, authenticate yourself with the various social networking websites and you are
free to use those. Remember one thing, while you are enabling poken, you should keep the device
connected to the machine from where you are accessing poken’s official website.

Information Protection

If you have your auto-login feature disabled, even if someone gets hold of your poken, he won’t be able
to do anything unless he cracks the password of yours as well. To retrieve the information that your
missing poken contained, you just have to connect the new poken to the existing account and you are
done. Also, you can deactivate your lost poken device by just making a single call. Finally, all of your
information in the poken is encrypted, so nobody virtually can get his hold on the same.

Business cards are dead?

Well, in this tech-savvy world, pokens have definitely taken over business cards, but, it’s still pretty early
to say that the latter is dead.

Many business entrepreneurs still think that social media information should only be in the official
website. To give the traditional business card a twist, many have introduced QR codes in the paper card
as well.

Another big disadvantage that pokens seem to have is the price. It’s pretty hefty for starters and the
makers of poken have to consider the same if they want to expand their client base by reaching out to a
bigger market.

So, definitely, pokens have won the battle against business cards, but, it’s only pretty much the first
round. Both business cards and pokens have to undergo some tweaks to come out as the ultimate
winner.

Author Resource: Apart from occasionally contributing to TubeBlogger, Costea likes to write about promotional code for ps prints and vista print promotions. As a tool, it can connect friends and companies across a digital bridge. Students use it for homework. Entrepreneurs build a business from the ground up. But none of this would be possible without the invention of the hardware to craft a full blown personal computer or the initiative to advance processing power. Here is a list of the five most influential people in the history of computers:
Charles Babbage
His contribution: The idea of the computer. If you ever wondered who deserved credit for thinking up the idea of an electronic box which would let humans email, build public dating profile, and surf the internet, this is the guy.
Unsatisfied with the high-degree of error from numerical tables calculated by humans, Babbage's idea was to craft a machine that would do the same job with more accurate results. Despite a few setbacks, Babbage finished his prototype, called the Analytical Engine, the first programmable computer ever, in the 1820's.
Tommy Flowers
His contribution: Development of the first programmable electronic computer. And using it to defeat Nazi Germany. As a member of the Bletchley Park World War II team, he and others of his team were charged with breaking the Lorenz Cipher, a high-level German-based code sometimes used by the Führer himself. With such a heated task, the Bletchley Park World War II team built the Colossus, the first programmable, digital computer, the fastest and most flexible of its predecessor .
Stephen Wozniak/ Steve Jobs
His (Their) contribution: The founding of Apple computers. It would be nonsensical to mention Jobs without Wozniak, and vice versa, but neither would be the man they are today or have achieved their respective accomplishments if they had never met and fed off each others intellect and ideas. To list just a few of their achievements: the invention of a graphical user interface, user friendly mouse, a pre-CPU design, Apple I and II kits, the iPod and iPad.
Douglas Carl Engelbart
His contribution: The modern computer mouse. In the 1960's, Engelbart was employed by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) and developed his own Augmentation Research Center employed with an agenda: create methods by which humans could interact more easily with computers. This led to a wooden shell with two wheels, in other words the first electronic computer mouse. He and his team also developed the first multiple-window GUI, precursor for Windows and Mac OS systems, and the first word processor, all developed in the 1960's.
Philip Don Estridge
His contribution: Development of the original IBM Personal Computer (PC). In the 1980's, IBM was itching to get on the same market as Commodore, Atari and Apple. Then, along came Estridge, who had a revolutionary new concept: to build his own computer from off-the-shelf parts available from OEMs. Not only did this cut IBM's overall costs, but because Estridge employed parts already made rather than crafting his own new technology, production time was also cut in half, meaning they could get a full functioning model on the market faster, and for a less competitive price.
Computers are a staple of first world countries, as common and as prevalent as televisions and cars. There is no question society would not be the same without these modern amenities, but without these masters of mathematics and technology fueled by individual drive, the computers we know and use today would not exist. Whether computers would even have been invented is a better question. Whatever the case, they did, they conquered, and computer enthusiasts everywhere should be thankful that they did.

Author Bio: Jimmy Hampton is an IT consultant and contributor at Masters in IT, a site with reviews, guides and information about getting an online Masters in Information Technology.

Google Goggles and Project Glass - What's Going On?

Google’s internet dominance is pretty much undisputed at this point. On a typical day you might use Google search to find out information on Ford Mustang parts like classic Mustang parts, pay for your purchase with Google Checkout, send an email to the supplier from your Gmail account, and then post about your car repair plans on Google+.
You might be wondering where on earth Google could go from here! The answer is: into virtual reality.
What Exactly Are They For?

While the specifics are still hush-hush, here’s what we know so far. The glasses will feature lenses that act like see-through screens, with information projected onto the lenses so that users can walk while they absorb it.
In addition, GPS, a camera, audio and motion sensors will also be included. The initial launch and features are thought to focus heavily on location-based augmented reality – somewhat like the layers available on Google Maps smartphone applications. The wearer’s perspective will stream back to Google, where the images will be analyzed and then extra information streamed back to project on the lens.
Why Google Goggles?
It’s likely that the name itself comes from the lovely alliteration that it brings, but the choice of eye-glasses serves quite a functional purpose.
While smartphones, laptops and so on are certainly becoming enmeshed into our daily lives, they still are not an immersive experience. If you want to use Google Maps layers on your Android phone, you need to take out your phone, toggle the layers and then hold it up in an inconvenient fashion to get the information you want.
The idea of taking a walk while staring through your phone just isn’t very practical, even though it could be the best way to follow directions and find a particular location. Goggles are clearly more convenient, although much will depend on how comfortable and user-friendly the actual experience is. But hopefully users won't have to rely on their new Google to envision their favorite things, like their favorite classic Mustang Parts.
What’s in it for Them?
As the saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. While things are still somewhat fuzzy, several sources within Google have said that the devices will likely cost between $250 and $600 – on par with the price of smartphones – and should be on sale by the end of 2012.
Of course, that’s not all. In addition to the extra information that wearers will be given about their surroundings, they will also be exposed to the advertisements from which Google makes much of its revenue. This being a Google product, hopefully the advertisements will be as unobtrusive as those that people have become used to with Google search and Gmail.
While Google has had a few lame duck products – remember Google Buzz? – their successes have far outweighed their failures. Let’s wait and see which camp Google Goggles fall into.

This guest post contributed by Michelle: a technology enthusiast, with interest in everything from Google products to the latest Ford Mustang parts from CJ Pony Parts.

Smoke and Mirrors: Cigarettes or Impostors?

If you surf the net, you’ll find a huge market for stuff disguised as other stuff. We’re not entirely sure why, but there seems to be a real appeal in things that are not all as they initially appear. Whether it’s for covert, nefarious purposes or just plain fun, here’s a look at some of the strange things that have come disguised as cigarettes.

Cigarette Graffiti Pen
If you find yourself two feet away from a brand new tag when the Five-O arrive, you’ll want to keep the evidence as far away as possible. Now you can get your graffiti pen disguised as a cigarette. While it might not stand up to the most rigorous of inspections (the shiny plastic finish might give it away) this pen could slip covertly into a cigarette box and pass by unnoticed.

Image from blog.makezine.com

Cigarette Gun
In “You Only Live Twice”, the fifth film in the James Bond series, double-oh-seven is given a projectile launcher disguised as a cigarette. With accuracy up to 30 yards, the cigarette was only fired once in the film, to kill a guard, evincing the fact that cigarettes really can be bad for your health.
[please embed - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpLVwZVT6Hc]

Cigarette Teabags
We’re not sure why these exist, but we suppose that they might be ideal if you want to cause a stir in the tearoom. Whip out one of these teabags disguised as a cigarette and just add a cup of boiling water and watch your colleagues recoil in disgust. If you find that sort of thing funny, that is. Alternatively, these could be kind of a handy format if you’re dead set on carrying a load of tea around your pocket.

Image from Toxel.com

Cigarette Pipe
One wonders why you’d need to disguise your pipe as a cigarette but makers of the ‘pipe’, say that it’s handy for smoking a number of other substances that are a) illegal and b) not considered acceptable down at the pub!

Image from pizbismokeshop.com

Cigarette Disguised Cigarette Lighter
Again, we're struggling to see the point in this, though it's a bonus that this handy refillable lighter is perfectly cigarette shaped so at to tuck neatly into your cigarette packet. It’s a bit of a blow when you think you still have one left for the journey home though!

Cell Phone Jammer
Using cell phone jammers is shaky ground, legally speaking, in many countries, so it figures that those looking to interfere with nearby telecommunications would be drawn to this cell phone jammer cleverly concealed in a cigarette packet.

Pen E-Cigarette
You are also able to find cigarettes disguised as other items. Electronic cigarettes come in a variety of designs, one of which is this stylish pen design that allows you to drop it into your shirt pocket and nobody will be any wiser! It’s quite acceptable to chew on the end of your pen during a meeting, and this way you can sneak a drag when the boss isn’t looking, though you’d better be careful where you blow that vapour, else you’ll be quickly rumbled!

Image from Chinavasion.com
Disguising cigarettes as other items is popular among smugglers as well, though perhaps not very successful! In Februrary 2012, a gang of smugglers in Felixstowe, England were found to have imported millions of pounds’ worth of cigarettes disguised as toys.

For more alternatives to those harmful cigarettes, check out electronic cigarettes from PrezzyBox.com.

How Much will You Earn from Blogging / Videoblogging?

This is something you're probably wondering, along with "how much do these bloggers really make?"

In short: If you have something to sell from your blog you'll probably make more than someone who only has advertisements in addition to their articles.
Here on Tubeblogger I'm not selling anything from the blog, I only earn from advertisements (Google Adsense) and occasional product reviews - more about this later.

       Click-Through Ratio
The ads over there to the right are automatic. I like Adsense because the ads are usually somewhat related to the article on the page. They give me a small amount whenever someone clicks them. Out of the ten thousand visitors this month, twenty people clicked them. Thats a Click-Through Ratio (CTR) of .20%
From those twenty clicks I'll get about $10.

The CTR goes up and down all the time for me but it stays at around .20%.
It depends on the position of the ad as well as the content of the blog, the former you can experience with a lot (the latter, a bit, I guess).
So as you can see I'll need over a hundred thousand visitors per day to make anything you might call Good Money from ads. A number I'll probably never reach.
Trying to make money with a blog using ads only is a silly idea.

Some sites kinda trick people into clicking the ads. By placing them at the very top, making it look like categories on the blog, etc. This increases the CTR but it's against the terms of service on Adsense

       Video Blogging
Similar concepts apply. On Youtube the ads are controlled by adsense so it pays about the same for each click as I described above. A few people who watch your videos are going to click the ads.
Some people report a click through ratio of over 4%, but I think that's extremely rare, it will probably be below 1%.
So once you're getting fifty thousand daily views you're (on your way to) making good money from Youtube.
That is totally possible even for amateurs if you do daily video blogging; so it's a much better plan than trying to make money from a blog with only ads.

       Selling Something
...is probably the only way you'll be making good money from a blog. You'll have to calculate your own conversion rate to know how many visitors you'll need to make good money; meaning, how many of your visitors actually buy something - what the percentage is.
The percentage, conversion rate, will probably be higher than CTR of ads.
Once you know the conversion rate you'll know whether it is worth paying for visitors to your site, by using Google AdWords, or paying to advertise on other sites.

       But, what to sell?
You can set up (apply for) an Amazon Associates account. Then you can sell any of their [Amazon.com] products from your site.
Many people (including me) do this in the form of product reviews; they review products that they know something about and post an affiliated link to the Amazon page for that product. When someone buys anything after clicking that link they get around 5% or so of the money spent.
Ebay has a similar deal where you can be an associate, and so do many other online shops.

Start by reviewing some products you've owned or tested.
Review any product that you know something about. Someone out there might find your review useful and click your links.

That's it. Leave a comment if you know some tricks to increase CTR or conversion rate.
We would love to hear it!

Ipad 3 - What's so special about this new iPad?

When the new iPad was released (only a few days ago now), thousands of people queued up outside stores. Legions of Apple fans had been preparing for this for weeks, wondering what this new tablet would be like. Did it sell out? As yet it's not clear. But one thing is for sure - the release of Apple's latest gadget has been met with a great deal of excitement.

Those who are not familiar with the new iPad may indeed wonder what's so special about it. After all, didn't Apple already release a "new" iPad sometime last year? In truth, some reviewers are arguing that there are relatively few differences between the two most recent models. So it might be interesting to pose the question: what, if anything, distinguishes this new iPad?

The answer, in short, is the Retina display. Even before the release, fans suspected that this new iPad's display would feature more pixels than the previous model. And so it does. According to some, the Retina display makes an HD television look somewhat old-fashioned. Exaggeration aside, it seems clear that the new iPad gives users a sharper screen than they were previously used to. Gamers and image-adicts alike will no doubt appreciate this most of all.

But surely there's more to the new iPad than a better display. For if not, surely it would make sense to stick to a cheap ipad 2. The fact of the matter, though, is that there is indeed more to the "ipad 3" than a fancier display. In addition to the added pixels on the screen, the "ipad 3" includes a significantly-improved camera, a dictation option and the capacity for faster connectivity (it supports 4G LTE)

Whilst none of these things can be considered a major overhaul, they do combine to make an impressive upgrade. There can be no doubt that many will appreciate the 4G wireless option and the 5-megapixel camera. And, as we have suggested, the impressive new screen will have many fans as well. However, there are reasons for thinking that this is not quite the "game changer" that Apple have suggested. For one thing, the appearance hasn't really changed and if anything the design is taken a slight step backwards. In what sense, you may ask? Well the weight and thickness of this new iPad actually exceed the iPad 2. It's only a slight increase but it may be enough to put off a few users, particularly those who appreciate thin, streamlined, lightweight tablets.

In summary then, there can be no doubt that the new iPad is an exciting achievement. That said, it seems that owners of the 2nd generation tablet may not after all need to worry about upgrading. In any case, who's to say that in six months time we won't be looking at yet another Apple release? So if you own an ipad 2 you may wish to hold on to it for a while and see what Apple do next. Of course, if you're one of those people who simply has to have the latest model, you probably won't be disappointed with this "ipad 3" tablet.

How Driverless Cars Work and Their Potential Impact [Infographic]

Driverless cars might seem like part of a distant future, but innovators have already begun to develop and test them on the road, and legislation sanctioning autonomous vehicles has already been proposed. Google received a patent just last summer for self-driving car technology, and major automakers like GM, Audi, and BMW are also making headway on their own driverless car projects.
This infographic breaks down driverless car technology, and how these vehicles are becoming not only possible, but also practical. In fact, some of the systems that make these vehicles work are actually quite similar to features included in the car you're driving today. The graphic also examines the legislation proposed in Hawaii and Florida, and the legislation that has already been passed in Nevada, sanctioning driverless cars on roads across the state.

Aside from the technological and legal progress we still need to make, driverless cars could change traffic safety forever by eliminating distracted driving once and for all -- saving billions of dollars and thousands of lives in the process.

Infographic by Denver personal injury law firm, the Law Offices of Daniel R. As long as we still have time, you might as well sell your possessions and buy these amazingly helpful robots.

iRobot Roomba 570
Nobody wants to vacuum their own house. The new iRobot Roomba 570 features improved navigation, in order to move through the house more efficiently. It can un-tangle itself from the carpet, clean corners and edges and even tells you when something is wrong. The Roomba also has a remote control, which enables you to move your robot wherever you want (as long as you can see where it is going).

The Roomba also has improved Lighthouse technology installed, which ensures that it sweeps the whole room and enables it to calculate how large a room is. This way, it will clean the whole room before moving onto the next one, leaving no dust or bunnies behind. It follows a time schedule religiously (which you can enter into the Roomba’s interface) and recharges itself when running low on battery power.

Zucchetti Lawnbott
This little Italian-designed lawn cutting robot is light and small and can still cut your lawn with precision and speed that is rarely seen among automated lawnmowers.

This Lawnbott determines the growth rate of your lawn and adapts its schedule so that the grass will always be cut to the length you want. It can handle an impressive 33,000 square foot area, and can cruise on a 27 degree slope without shutting down. You can also run this robot on Sundays, since it is very quiet (no more rocks thrown at you from the neighbour’s house).

Wakamaru
If you need a date night with your wife or husband, but you don’t have someone to call, what should you do? Power up your Wakamaru nanny robot, which will care of everything, of course! This human sized robot was created in Japan and is designed to keep an eye on the elderly and your children. It can be programmed to contact you or a designated person should anything go wrong

It is also programmed to contact the hospital or police if it recognises a problem with the children or elderly people. It will follow your parents and children around and is able to interact with humans as well as recognise facial expressions. It currently recognises 10,000 words, which isn’t a bad start for a lifeless being.

Rovio Spy Robot

When you’re away from home on a business trip, or on holiday, you need someone to look after your home. Hiring someone to look after your home is an option, but wouldn’t you rather have Rovio the security bot zipping through your home, scanning for danger? With the power of Wi-Fi, you are able to control this spy robot from anywhere in the world with a console control, mobile phone or pc. You’ll be able to check on your pets to see if they have been fed, or browse the house to see if anything is misplaced.

Robotic chairs which follow you around...
In a German library, a Dutch designer, Jelte van Geest's created a chair which follows you around the library so that you will have a place to sit if you want to flick through a book. As soon as you walk out of the library, it wanders back to its original location and waits for the next client. When it comes into commercial production, it should be great to have around the office or home when you really need to sit, or when someone tells you to “sit down a minute, we need to talk...”

Author Byline: Ruan is an experienced content writer and kid at heart who spends his down time with his children, either making lego models or buying them the next toy on their wishlist (currently the imaginext batcave).

3D Printing – Taking Piracy to the Next Level

At the end of January, notorious torrent sharing website The Pirate Bay added a new category to their downloads – Physibles. The Pirate Bay describes physibles as “data objects that are able to become physical”. This is based on the growing market in 3D printing – these were once the property of high-tech labs but are now marketed as a consumer product for under £1,000. 3D printers such as the MakerBot ‘Thing-O-Matic’ are designed for home use and allow users to create almost anything from scratch. Just like a document printer, the Thing-O-Matic simply replicated a computerised design as a 3D product.
At the moment there are limitations of size and use but The Pirate Bay may be onto something by offering ‘physibles’. Currently, consumer 3D-printers print coloured plastics. The models are durable so are great as the toys in the image below. However, imagine if the printers could print all materials?

Physical Piracy
Currently, the main form of sharing is digital formats. A product is converted from physical to digital (CDs to MP3s, DVDs to Video files, Books to eBooks) but with 3D printing this has the possibility to go the other way. Users can turn digital files into physical object; a bit like downloading music and burning it onto a CD. In the future you could download a new part for your car or a belt and print it in your own house. If this becomes a reality then manufacturer’s could seriously be in threat – why pay for somebody to design and make a product for you when you can it all yourself? As one commenter writes on Pirate Bay’s announcement, ‘You wouldn’t download a car would you? I WOULD IF I COULD!!’
You would only ever have to pay for the printing materials and everything else would come free. Pirate Bay may see this as a perfect opportunity for piracy but a huge positive is for content creation.

User Generated Content
Currently, to create, produce and market a product requires hefty financial backing. That is why shows like Dragon’s Den exist. There is a wealth of budding creators waiting to launch the next big thing but held back by monetary constraints. They may have perfected the design phase or even created a prototype but the next steps – consumer feedback, production and marketing – don’t come cheap. However, 3D printing allows designers to make their own products or even to market their designs round the world for others to print. 3D printing could do for product design what YouTube did for video, Soundcloud did for music and eReaders did for books. User generated content is on the rise.
This is a controversial talking point in the marketing world at the moment as designers argue whether designs should be free or not. Each 3D printer comes with a ‘design store’ or catalogue where users can download templates for printing. Some stores are free and allow open sharing between users. Others charge for all designs where the designer and the printer manufacturer share the profits. There’s also the possibility for stores to operate like mobile app stores with the designer setting the price.

Fad or Revolution?
A lot of people think 3D printers are just a fad for graphic and product design communities and will never go mainstream. That may be the case in their current form but as 3D printers become larger and more intricate I think there is the opportunity for a real manufacturing revolution. The Pirate Bay believes that 3D printers are just the start and that in 20 years we will be downloading our clothes. According to them, physical sharing will mean ‘No more shipping huge amounts of products around the world. No more shipping the broken products back. No more child labour. We’ll be able to print food for hungry people. We’ll be able to share not only a recipe, but the full meal. We’ll be able to actually copy that floppy, if we needed one.’
That’s adventurous thinking but it could be closer to the truth than many people think!

This article was written by Silicon Beach Training. We provide some of the best design courses in the UK including InDesign Training and Illustrator Training. That's a thing of the past as new 3D glasses - like sunglasses in appearance - are available.

So how do the new wave of 3D glasses work and allow us to see a 3D image?

In order to emit a 3D image, the television itself must deliver offset images that filter separately to the left and right eye. The most common way to do this is by viewers wearing 3D glasses that filter the offset images to each eye.

There are two types of 3D – active and passive. Active 3D glasses display an image on the left eye and then on the right eye, swapping in quick succession. The glasses themselves contain shutters that open and close in sync with whatever is displayed on the screen which allows the left eye to see the image for the left eye, and the right to do the same. Active 3D is the clearest form of 3D, and the resulting effect is a better quality picture.

Passive 3D glasses do not have shutters to send the image from the screen to the eye. The screen for passive 3D show one image for the left eye and one image for the right eye at the same time. The glasses contain filtered lenses which ensure that each eye sees the right image. The effect of passive 3D is that as the images are being shown onscreen at the same time, the resolution of the picture is half of that of active 3D, and the image is therefore not in full HD.

The older 3D movie screens incorporated red and green images on the screen which were picked up by the red and green filters on the 3D glasses and one image was sent to each eye, meaning it was difficult to have a good quality colour film via this old method of 3D.
Active and passive 3D allows for a more refined picture and a resulting better viewing experience all round.

Guest Author Bio:
Amy is a blogger for online glasses retailer Direct Sight

Latest Advancement in Smartphones Technology: Corded Handset

What would encourage smartphone users to purchase handsets for their devices? It proves more entertaining to ask is why would these users buy these larger-looking corded handsets? Considering the options of the Bluetooth ear clips and the white ear-buds, it proves common sense as to why consumers are now more interested in headsets. If one thinks about it, assume you are sitting in an airport, and someone is sitting next to you speaking loudly with their ear- buds/clips on.

The images portrayed of these mobile phone users are intolerable, rude people who crave for everyone around them to hear them. It proves clear that not all ear-bud/clip users exhibit these traits, but if they chose to use handsets, it would give them a “regular” phone-feel, with increasing comfort ability which would give them an excuse to lower their voices when out in public talking on their phones.

How many times have you received inappropriate or freezing stares while using the ear-buds and ear-clips because passerby’s thought you were talking to yourself? The mobile headset lets you talk on the phone minus the strange looks because people will see the cord, making it clear you are talking on the mobile phone, instead of yourself.

There is an extra benefit with corded handsets; the cellphone attachments protect mobile users from certain forms of radiation that has been proved carcinogenic to users. What does this mean? It means that where the corded handset may not appear as cool as ear-buds or ear-clips, but it does prove safer to use.

A company titled “Yubz” began making corded handsets in the early 2,000s. Unbelievably, this product was originally created as gag-gifts for people who were steering away from their landlines and opting for cellphones as their primary phone line. After the beginning phase of the marketing launch for the product, the scare of cellphone radiation began circulating. Yubz decided to change their marketing strategy to include acompellingdetail about their product which was, “a reduction of cell phone radiation” with the use of their product. They include these helpful-findings on the corded handset packing materials.

The company “Imobifone” offers the latest and most cost-efficient handset market on the market. Their corded handsets retail for twenty-five dollars. “A + R” offers a French designer edition by David Turpi. The handsets come in colors such as magenta, yellow and virtually any pop-color you can imagine. Consumers are raving about these corded handsets due to the cute and stylish factors of the products. A + R corded handsets will run consumers thirty dollars.

Corded handsets will grow in popularity in the future. These products are stable and easier to keep track of. How many times have you lost your ear buds or ear clips? If you have lost the buds/clips often, you can demonstrate how expensive this becomes over a period? Handsets are larger and harder to lose. Even if, you lose a corded handset, they prove economical in replacing.

Author Bio: The post is contributed by William Taylor. The disappearance of such pieces of live-fast, die-young tech as the Dial-Up Modem seems especially odd when you consider that some entirely dated technology has held on to our affections for ages. Here are five technologies, some older than others, that we really should have euthanised by now.
Vinyl

There’s a pretty good chance that if you’re still harping on about vinyl, there are few other things you need to let go of. These things may include: your hair, the notion that teenagers are going to start playing on your recently cut lawn, your recently divorced wife of thirty years and all hope that Prog Rock is, and ever was, listenable.
You may even only have a physical age of twenty five, but your love of analog has aged you irrevocably. Completely unable to discern the ‘warmth’ of analog recordings, it’s only logical for me to conclude that, given your age and your regular consumption of music, you simply have Tinnitus.
Wristwatches

Wristwatches are still valid as an accessory, but as technology? Ok, so reaching into your pockets to grab whatever clock-possessing tech you have on your person is a little like returning to the days of the pocket watch. But it’s not like we’re in the trenches of the Somme: it’s time we can spare.
And no, I’m not saying that people should be throwing their timepieces into the fires of the Swiss Mount Doom from whence they were forged. It’s just that there are people out there, who genuinely believe that wristwatches are necessary, as opposed to being yet another way for them to preen and flash their wealth in your plebeian face.
Landline Telephones

Doomsayers tend to forecast the death of any technology that is incorporated into our mobile phones with great enthusiasm. This seems kind of ironic considering that after decades of mobile-phone usage, the landline still isn’t dead. Nevertheless, everyone under the age of sixty could live without their landlines, were it not for the inflated prices you have to pay to phone anyone you don’t particularly want to phone. Depending on where you live, you can get round this and live without your landline already: toll-free numbers are free to call via Skype. You know, as they say they should be.
Traditional Photography

Subject to precisely the same sentimental nonsense as vinyl, traditional photography is meaninglessly touted as somehow ‘more authentic’. Typical digital cameras on the market nowadays match the resolution of film with less noise and grain. And you don’t get more ‘what you see is what you get’ than the digital experience either.
Sure, film has complex benefits over digital. But if you’re not a high-tier professional, preaching about them is a kind of Clear Blue for pretentiousness. And the snobbery that goes with that impression is justifiably detected: the beauty of digital is that it opens photography to those who don’t have to make every single shot count. Today’s photographers can learn on the job without having to spend prohibitive amounts of money on film and on developing their pictures. Typical digital camera prices allow absolutely everyone to get in on the fun. The easy portability of image data even means that everybody can choose to ignore your holiday snaps via email, Facebook, Flickr and all kinds of avenues.
Games Consoles

Whipping up a little drama in the gaming industry is a little difficult these days. Claiming anything is dead or dying and trying to sound especially original is impossible. Right now, smartphones are pushing a pillow into the face of handheld gaming whilst their own pricing and lack of innovation are considered symptoms of a coming implosion. Then there’s the PC, which has been slowly throttled by the home games console for over a decade.
And even games consoles are endangered technology. Seven generations of consoles have established a fairly predictable five-year cycle of innovation that has suddenly been broken. The technology behind the consoles is simply getting too expensive: Sony’s Playstation 3 has taken nearly five years to dip below £200 in the UK, whereas its predecessor took less than two years to reach that price point.
And what would the console manufacturers even do with a new generation? Nintendo’s Wii-U, which is apparently controlled by a fisher-price tablet computer looks an especially desperate attempt to answer that question. Games developers too also seem reluctant to step forward, production costs being as inflated as they are. Even consumer enthusiasm for the next big thing cannot be depended on: graphics are now subject to a law of diminishing returns that will mean that whatever these companies come up with next, we’ll shrug it off and barely recognise the difference in fidelity.
Something’s got to give. Cloud gaming services like Onlive mean that the platform you use is, in theory, irrelevant. Perhaps we’re headed to a future where games consoles are like any other entertainment player: a badged unit built around shared, standardised technology. Meanwhile the march of the consoles towards being fully featured PCs will be complete, and both platforms will die in the collision.

Author Bio: Steph Wood likes to stay ahead of the tech game and writes content for electronics retailer Comet, who sell a cheap iPad 2 in the UK market.

5 of the Best International Science Events in the World
In Edinburgh we have a number of visitors who join us every year to attend our very own Science Festival, seeking hotels in Edinburgh city centre during their stay and this is always an exciting time for the city.

For rich educational experiences and the chance to learn cutting edge theories and the latest thinking in the field of science, nothing beats a live science event. They are packed with leading speakers, interactive events and plenty to occupy and engage enquiring minds!

Edinburgh
The Edinburgh International Science Festival is held by an educational charity that aims to inspire people from different backgrounds and of all ages, to discover and learn about the world. The annual festival is, in fact, the world's first live celebration of technology and science and still noted as being one of the largest science fairs in Europe.
Bradford
Also in the UK is the British Science Festival, which this year was in Bradford. Every September it visits a different city to host a celebration of technology, science and engineering. This includes exhibitions, science shows, workshops, expert lectures and discussions and even science-based drama. There are 250 events, activities and exhibitions to choose from and the programme is ideal for everyone, from family groups to professionals.
Hampstead
For something a little lower key, but no less fascinating, why not attend one of the events at London's HSS Observatory in Hampstead? It's generally open from the middle of September to April, but specific dates vary according to visibility and positioning of the planets. Other events such as eclipses and bright comets also warrant an opening! It's well worth a visit and enthusiasts don't need to book. Although it's a small observatory, it's one of the only observatories in London that offers viewing to the public and there are some great talks and workshops relating to astronomy and cosmology.
Seattle
If you're of a mind to travel, the inaugural Seattle Science Fair in June 2012 will be well worth a visit too. Marking the fiftieth anniversary of the city's World's Fair in 1962, the event will bring together a wealth of exhibitors, thinkers, universities and businesses to collaborate, share and entertain the audience, showcasing the best in scientific developments and technology in the region.
New York
Also, if you can wangle a trip to NYC, the Rochester Museum and Science Center is not to be missed. It's a thirteen-acre campus made up of science centre and museum, with three floors of interactive technology and science exhibits, along with specific areas for regional cultural heritage and national science. The collections have amassed over 1.2 million objects of interest and there's a planetarium too with the incredible Challenger Learner Center and amazing Eisenhart Auditorium, which frequently hosts guest speakers, lectures and conferences. Keep an eye on the museum's website for the latest fixtures and events that are bound to not disappoint!

Of course, these are just a tiny selection of the huge range of science events offered both in the UK and beyond and with the advent of real-time content streaming via the internet, there's no need to miss out even if you can't be there in person! Most events will offer post-occasion features such as web conferences and video and interactive online content, so you can still experience the best of the event from your home.

This great content was written by Saul Malpass a travel blogger currently implementing his expertise for Lodging world. Rather, it tends to bring out the best in most of us. Unfortunately, some criminals use the holiday season to take advantage of the atmosphere of good will and scam unsuspecting victims. Here are some of the more creative holiday scams currently making the rounds that you should be on the lookout for.

Beware of Bogus Charities
Charitable organizations use the holidays as a time to solicit donations. Con men know this and take advantage of the generous with fake charities. A lot of the non-existent charity action has moved online. Practically anyone with a little web design knowledge can mock up a perfectly legitimate-looking website and ask for donations. Before you donate to any charity, Google them to make sure they actually exist.

Check Your Gift Cards Twice
If you buy gift cards in the store as a present, make sure to take a good hard look at the card itself before you pay for it. A common technique for scamming shoppers is to scuff up the security code and write down the serial number for later use. Scam artists call the 800 number on the back at a later date to see if the card has been activated. If it has, they can use the serial numbers to buy things online and effectively steal from the actual card holder.

Avoid Scalpers
Due to the popularity of exclusive events like concerts and sports games held during the holidays, tickets to such events are often in short supply. Con artists can easily print up phony tickets and sell them either on Craigslist or outside the event itself. If you buy tickets, do it from a friend or co-worker. Try to avoid the people hanging out on the street or selling them online.

E-mail Shenanigans
The holidays are a busy time for cyber-criminals as well as shoppers and travelers. A common scam is to send an E-mail to an unsuspecting victim informing them that their package has arrived and that they need to pick it up from the local UPS or FedEx location. Typically, there's a link to click. Don't click it, because this is almost always a phishing attempt to get personal information from you.

In Conclusion
The holidays are a time for reflection, celebration, and family. It's fine to enjoy yourself and take some time off mentally, just don't let your guard down too much. Even though you'd probably never try to pull off any of these scams on your fellow man doesn't mean there aren't shady characters out there who would. Just remember to exercise a bit of common sense this holiday season.

Author Byline. Until recently, only active-shutter technology had been utilized on 3D televisions. Such TVs require the use of special active-shutter glasses consisting of two small LCD screens synchronized with the TV to block the picture from reaching each eye in turn, thus creating a 3D effect. While active-shutter 3D works very well, the glasses are somewhat expensive and must be perfectly synchronized with the TV to avoid double-vision or blurry images.

Any cinemagoers that have seen a 3D film in a movie theater will be familiar with the lightweight 3D glasses that are handed out, and it is this type that is now making inroads into the 3D TV market. Passive 3D TVs rely on the simple blocking of polarized light to create a different image for each eye, so the glasses have no need of batteries and the need of synchronization of a signal between the TV and glasses is eliminated. Polarizing 3D glasses are significantly cheaper than active-shutter glasses, a definite benefit for large families.
One of the best 3D TVs released in the last year is the LG Infinia 47LW6500, and the fact that this passive set beats some of the very best active-shutter types in both detail and picture depth should alleviate any concern that passive technology results in less definition.

Vizio’s XVT3D650SV is another passive 3D unit which, although giving up some crispness, still performs admirably for its 65” screen size and is great value.
The best of the active-shutter sets, the Samsung UN46D8000 excels at providing a quality 3D image with excellent contrast that works very well in darker scenes, something other 3D TVs struggle to do. The unit is an LED back-lit design like the Sony Bravia 46HX820, another of the best of the crop of active-shutter 3D TVs with great depth and detail that some other 3D TVs miss.

For those looking for a plasma-lit TV, the LG Infinia 50PZ950 is a 50” unit with great image quality. Dark scenes can be a little bright, but adjustments can be made to compensate. The 3D experience with the Infinia is particularly good, with foreground details very noticeable, creating a good depth of field.

As with any new technology, the cost of 3D televisions is decreasing as more passive 3D models become available and sales increase. This, combined with the improving quality of both passive and active-shutter units, mean that this year’s 3D TVs are easier on both the eye and the wallet.

Author Bio: Nicole Rodgers has been blogging in the technology, entertainment, and business industries for three years. They have created a 3D browser that bends and shows things that you might imagine from the "Magic Eight Ball" of days gone by.

Is The SurfCube Browser Better Than Internet Explorer?
The people at Kinabalu Innovation Limited have created the SurfCube 3D browser for Windows Phone 7 smartphones. This is fun to use, with its gyrating shapes and bouncing sides. The first thing you find out about this is that it looks good and can do some things even better than stock Internet Explorer. Some sites look better with the SurfCube browser than with the Microsoft browser.

This Browser Is Different
The SurfCube mobile 3D browser looks nothing like other mobile browsers. It can be swiped just like an app, with different "sides" of the 3D showing up temporarilty before rolling over to the side the user wants. It comes with some cool features that make it worth trying. The Kinabalu Innovation browser can run under a locked WP7 phone. This means the phone can be turned off and the first thing that pops up when the user turns it back on is the 3D browser. There is a bandwidth saver mode for those who are on "all you can eat" mobile plans. This means images can be turned off, which saves much of the loading time for web pages. There are other updates in the pipeline to make this browser even better than it is.

The SurfCube Browser Has A Better Idea
One of the best features of the SurfCube mobile 3D browser is that the controls are on one of the "sides" of the cubed browser. A quick swipe of the finger brings up the hidden controls while regular viewing is not restricted during scrolling up and down a page. The acrobatic gyrations of the browser will take getting used to, but it is not unlike using any other smartphone app. It can be used in portrait or landscape mode for those who have larger displays. Speaking of that, the mode can be locked in portrait for those who like to look at the web while in the bed.

You Do Not Have To Pay To Play, At First.
You do not have to bring out the credit card to enjoy the SurfCube mobile 3D browser. It comes with a free trial for 20 uses before having to pay. If the user does decide to pay it is a modest $1.99. The browser is good at delivering web pages and is already in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Author Bio: Karen Robinson is a freelance writer that loves to write on everything pertaining to the mobile industry. The land of the rising sun will be manufacturing the most important part of the iPad 3. The bad blood rising between Samsung and Apple is the assumed reason why.

Apple has big plans for their uber-popular tablet. At the same time, Samsung is making large strides in display technology. It does not appear to be a good mix. The lawsuits have been flying faster than insults at a comedian's conference. The future display for the iPad 3 is going to be amazing. If you liked the three and a half inch retina screen of the iphone 4, you are going to love the immense clarity of the iPad 3. This will be ten ( 9.7 ) inches of first class digital real estate.

It will not be created with Samsung. The Sharp company from Osaka, Japan was chosen for the task.
Sharp and Apple Are Working Together
The constant quibbling of the Samsung and Apple companies over who was copying whom has been front page mobile news. Some places see Samsung prohibited from selling its tablets, thanks to Apple. But Apple and the Sharp company do not have such problems. Confirmation that Sharp was going to be the manufacturer of the iPad 3 display was given last week. Apple and Sharp have been working together to make a display that is even thinner than current models. The group at Sharp have been busy building their new Kameyama plant just for LCD screen technology. It will help satiate the growing global desire for LCD screens and the iPad 3 is included.

The iPad 3 Screen Has Good Credentials
The new resolution of the iPad 3 is going to be four times better than the iPad 2. The first and second iPads have a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels. The iPad 3 will have 2048 by 1536 pixels of power. This will use something called "IGZO" technology that was developed by Sharp. This is going to make the Apple tablet the visually sharpest tablet available, no pun intended. The only negative downside will be that many programs that currently run on the older iPads will not look the same on an iPad 3 screen. Perhaps someone will create an app for that. He also advised me that the story of the purpose of my visit to the store must end there, and my next stop should be my home PC where I should further study the options and order the product online at a bargain price.

Soft Handling
Tablet PCs and similar gadgets are known to be delicately built and may not sometimes withstand the assault that we are accustomed to perpetrate on our poor desktop keyboards. The options include volume control, customization through CSS3, and even a full screen option, which at its core HTML 5 video will not offer. VideoJS is, completely free, and is the easiest way to have a dynamic video player without all of the headaches. I am going to run you through the steps you need to take in order to get this to work, the limitations, and give you a step by step guide helping you bring your videos to life!

For this particular "how-to" the first thing you will need to do is visit the VideoJS homepage.
You will see a "download button" off to the right hand side of the page. Click that, and then once it is finished downloading you must unzip the file. Afterwards you are going to be looking for the files "video-js.css" and "video.js."

You are going to want to move these into the correct place, depending on your file structure or how you want to link to them.
Before all that you might want to test this. You can do so by simply creating an HTML document with the basics. Add the video code they give on their homepage, and you can test with either the sources they provide, or use your own video.

Once you have your document set up you are going to need to copy the snippets of code used to link their CSS and Javascript. You can directly copy this without updating anything in particular, assuming you keep the original file names the same. After that, you are going to want to copy the script they supply you that can also be found towards the bottom of their home page.

After you have done everything correctly you should have VideoJS working on all browsers, with the same theme, and the same functionality. You can change various skins, poster images, dimensions, and you can use any various fallback content you want. You can even use your own flash player, and keep the same theme by leaving the class as is.

Just in case this article was a little bit hard to follow I have made a short tutorial video, walking you through the steps in real time….
Note: Fullscreen= Full "window" on all browsers except safari.

The advantages of VideoJS are endless. You have fully functional HTML 5 video player, that is consistant across all browsers. Add that to the fact you now have the ability to reach mobile users and your videos become that much more vital. You also have a Flash fallback option, but HTML 5 video first and foremost is important for a few reasons. One, your job becomes easier. HTML 5 video is easy to use, update, and implement on your site. Second, HTML 5 is great for search engines to properly index your videos. You don't want Google unable to identify your content for what it is. With HTML 5, you have SEO friendly code. When you combine that with clean cut coding, and a link building service, you can be confident the SERP's are in your future.
Hope that everyone enjoyed the short tutorial, and hope to see some of your videos online!

Author Bio: This article was contributed by Thomas Benjamin. This is due not only to the power of the phone itself, but the mobile apps that offer the customization to tailor these devices to fit our individual needs. These days there are apps to fulfill every conceivable function, regardless of whether we want to improve our business productivity or simplify our lives. The paths to entertainment, work, and social interaction news all originate from these tiny rectangular hubs, like an existential transit system connecting the nodes of our lives.

Nevertheless, in order to maximize the efficiency of your mobile device, you first need to equip it with the proper apps. Ironically, however, as the number of programs continues to swell, swimming through this endless sea can be rather unproductive. To make things simpler, here is a list of 5 Android Apps designed to increase your productivity:

1. Barcode Scanner
The barcode scanner is one of those life tools that can be applied in a variety of scenarios. For example, if you want to do a price comparison on an item, simply scan the barcode on the back of a box and the program will scour the web for other merchants and competitive pricing. It will also link you to any relevant reviews so you can educate yourself on the quality of any purchase you are unsure of. Barcode Scanner also works for QR codes which link directly to manufacturer websites.

2. Document Scanner
For business professionals and anyone signing a contract, it is important to make an electronic copy of a document in addition to any physical copy you receive. Electronic copies, after all, are easier to file and harder to misplace. Using the Document Scanner app on your Android device, you can quickly convert physical documents into PDF files. This ingenious software can detect the 4 corners of the document, ensuring the file is of proper scale. You can also crop the document before converting the image to a PDF. Document Scanner can also be used for receipts and other important papers.

3. Google Docs
PDF files created through Document Scanner can be saved and filed using Google Docs. Google Docs allows you to upload the files onto the cloud, creating an online backup for the documents on your hard drive. For many, keeping the files online and linked to their Google account is far more convenient than traditional storage, as it allows them to view and edit documents from any device with an internet connection. As a result, many professionals and students are using Google Docs as their primary word processor.

4. Google Voice
A good productivity app will save you time and money. The increasingly archaic phone system is quickly being replaced by Android apps such as Google Voice. Google Voice assigns you a phone number and lets you send text messages and calls through the internet, circumventing the need for a traditional phone service. Voicemail leftto this number can be transcribed into text. Greetings can be customized for specific numbers and international phone calls can be made at a significant discount.

5. Note Everything
Note Everything allows you to jot down notes and organize them into specific categories. In addition to text, the app also lets you attach pictures to various lists and sync them to your PC or the cloud. Note Everything can work in conjunction with other apps to collate your schedule, meetings, and appointments to ensure you remain on top of your current objectives. Bring your idea to life!

So, you have a great idea for a new product and think you could make some money selling it. The hard part is actually being able to manufacture the product without the space and equipment that you will need to be able to turn your idea into reality. It’s all very well being able to make a “kitchen table” style prototype, but if your product is popular and successful, you may find yourself inundated with orders that you have no hope of honouring. It could be that you have a great idea for a product, but no concept of how to actually make the item.

If this sounds like you, then you need to find ways of manufacturing your product quickly and efficiently and at the lowest cost possible. A great place to look for help is Quirky. This is a website where you can register free and submit your product idea to the Quirky community. Submitting a product idea cost $10 and you’ll need to fill out a web form and upload some image files (photos of your prototype, plans, diagrams, etc). Your product will be evaluated for a week by the host of “ideas” people that make up the community and voted on. Very often, the people viewing the product ideas will contribute some valuable information on how the product could be improved/altered to make it more useful or more likely to prove successful.

The following week, if your idea proves to be one of the high-scorers, it will then be evaluated by the Quirky staff – this process will usually take another week. Throughout both of these processes, it’s possible to log on to the website to see what’s being said about your idea.

At the end of the staff evaluation process you will be notified by email as to whether or not your idea is one of the ones chosen to be a Quirky product. If it is, this means that Quirky will use its team of design staff and reach out to some of the manufacturers that they enjoy good working relations with in order to take your idea to the production stage. Once that stage has been completed, the Quirky marketing and sales team take over to offer your product for sale (usually via the Quirky website shop).
Okay, you might not make your fortune in this way, especially as you will only actually receive 12% of the sales revenue of your product idea. But this can be a great solution if you have a product idea and no way of manufacturing it or bringing it to market. Obviously, the more sales the product enjoys, the more money you would receive. Quirky could be a really great platform to use if you have an idea for something that would become an essential item and likely to sell in the millions.

If you don’t like the sound of relinquishing so much control (and income) to a third party, then a great way to find some of the materials you may need to manufacture the product on your own could be Inventables. This is a website that’s aimed at designers and inventors and carries a range of innovative materials and products that could be used in the manufacturing process. Some of the products are really cool and could actually inspire you to have ideas for applications for them. One of the great things is that you can usually buy sample amounts of the materials at reasonably affordable prices.

Whatever your idea is and whichever route you choose to try to bring it to market, both of these websites offer choices and opportunities that were just not available in the past.

Author Byline: Article by Debbie who frequently writes about personal finance, foreign markets and foreign exchange.

Subscribe to the Technology Category from TubeBlogger! It's called “Gasland” and it's about hydraulic fracturing. Many people aren't aware of what hydraulic fracturing is and could miss the point of the movie. A brief explanation is that hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking”, is a natural way to extract gas from the ground. There are different ways to take this approach to drilling. One example is horizontal hydraulic fracturing, which extracts the natural gas by “tapping” into shale deposits.

Should We Worry About Fracking?

During the extraction of natural gas from the soil of the earth, natural water can become contaminated. It is important that natural water is protected and legislation has already been put in effect to support that. The FRAC Act holds companies accountable and makes them detail what chemicals they use while working with water. If society doesn't know what chemicals are used in water, then nobody is safe from water contamination. This movie shows that after fracking, some people are unable to use their own water again for years, if ever.

Just one well can be fracked several times using anywhere from 1-8 million gallons of water. That results in an enormous amount of water that is exposed to chemicals, intentionally or unintentionally. After a person understands the process of fracking, then they may be able to understand the motive behind this movie. The people who share their stories could be any of us.

What Might Happen?

Are you able to ignite your drinking water on fire? People in Pennsylvania say they can and it is obviously causing a lot of controversy. Many people are concerned that fracking is doing more harm than good. People all over the world are working to find new ways to get gas and Josh Fox is producing this Movie to tell others the truth about hydraulic fracking. More people should be aware of the actual truth before they allow it to happen to their hometown, their neighbors and themselves.

This documentary offers an in depth look at what big business doesn't want us to know about fracking. The movie “Gasland” is about exposing the truth and uncovering information about hydraulic fracking. If you are unsure about the process of fracking, then consider watching in 2012. You will learn more about the truth behind hydraulic fracking and the impact it could have on your life. Arm yourself with knowledge and take action if your area is being impacted!

About the Author: Ernie Bruley is fascinated by current events impacting the environment.
