Apple can be called as technology disrupter in true sense. First it launched iPhone which started the touchscreen era in smartphones. And, then it revolutionized the market of tablets with iPad, so much so that growth of tablets is now causing decline to the computer sales. Riding on its success wave, Apple also released its smaller version in the form of iPad Mini last year. While the launch of 5th generation of iPad is not near, still it doesn’t stops people to speculate about its features. Following previous year’s iPad and iPad Mini release in November, Apple might release iPad 5 (and possibly iPad Mini 2) during September-October to complete almost one year of iPad. So, we bring to you five features which iPad 5 might be having:

Display

iPad 4 has 9.7-inches display screen with resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, equating to pixel density of 264 ppi. Rumors suggest that iPad 5 will be sporting the same size, but it may increase its resolution to take on the competition like Microsoft Surface and Nexus 10. Nexus 10 has a display resolution 2560 x 1600 pixels, having density of 300 pixel per inches. iPad 5 might also be using GF2 (also Called DITO_ touchscreen technology.

Design

The 3rd and 4th generation of iPad were comparatively thicker and weigh more in comparison to their predecessor iPad 1 and iPad 2. One analyst with KGI Securities- Ming Chi Kuopredicts that new version of iPad will be thinner. While iPad 4 is having 9.7 mm thickness, iPad 5 may have almost 2 mm less thickness, i.e., it will have thickness of approx. 7.5-8.0 mm. The weight of the tablet will also be reduced to 500 g, making it roughly 25% lighter than iPad 4.

Hardware

iPad 4 featured an Apple A6 processor, its successor iPad 5 might be powered by Apple A7 quad-core processor. The RAM will be wither 1 or 2 GB. Similar to iPad 4, it will offer several internal storage options of 16/32/64/128 GB. In terms of connectivity, it will be offering standard features like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.iPad 5’s battery capacity may be of 8500-9000 mAh, making it 25-30% smaller than iPad 4.

Apple might upgrade iPad 5’s primary camera to 8 MP capable of shooting HD videos from 5 MP camera in iPad 4. The front-facing camera might remain of 1.2 MP capable of taking 720p@30fps videos.

Software

iPad 5 might be running on Apple iOS 7, which is to be released with iPhone 6. iOS is known for its smooth and slick interface and iOS 7 might improve that experience. Rumors hints that iOS 7 might feature app previews, faster app switching, updated Safari browser, and many more features.

Extra Features

Vibrator Mechanism

According to Patently Apple, Apple has filed a patent to bring vibrator functionality to iPad 5, which could deliver notification alerts in a similar manner to iPhone 5.

Wireless Charging

Every other company is experimenting with Wireless Charging, how Apple can be left behind? Apple Insider reports that iPad 5 might have a smart cover which will house a inductive charging transducer. When the cover is connected to the iPad, it will be able to charge iPad wirelessly.

Video games have come a long way since they first hit the shelves in the latter part of the last century. And as a result, games consoles have made huge advances as well.

With so many to pick from, choosing the top five consoles from the last decade is tricky, but in no particular order, here are my unbeatable games consoles from the noughties.

Xbox 360

Hitting the market in 2005, the Xbox 360 was originally launched with 14 games, and became famous for games such as Call of Duty, Gears of War and Halo, all of which sold millions of copies around the world.

Accessories for the Xbox 360 include the Kinect sensor which allows users to control and interact with the console using gestures and spoken commands.

This advanced ad-on has brought the console right up to date and thanks to this and other exciting developments, I wouldn’t upgrade or sell my Xbox 360 any time soon.

Nintendo Wii

Released by Nintendo in late 2006, this seventh generation console was developed as an answer to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Its wireless control system quickly made the Wii stand out from other consoles, as did its emphasis on interaction and connectivity.

As many of the games available for the Wii involve sports instead of shooting, it’s seen as a more family friendly console, introducing a whole new audience to computer games and virtual entertainment.

The PlayStation 3

Like the Wii, the PS3 was released to the market in late 2006, just in time for the Christmas rush.

Though it did have wireless controllers, the PS3 was less interactive than the Nintendo Wii. Nevertheless, the PlayStation faithful bought the console in their thousands and its success was assured.

Compatible with a number of on demand TV and film services, the PS3 is ideal for anyone who likes mixing gaming with movies.

Nintendo DS

For a long time I thought that the good old Game Boy would never be beaten when it comes to handheld games consoles. However, with its advanced capabilities and great range of games, the Nintendo DS is winning the hearts of many.

Great for kids learning to use consoles – and for keeping them entertained on long journeys – the DS is a family friendly device with big appeal, and is now one of the biggest selling games consoles of all time.

PlayStation Vita

Arriving right at the end of the noughties, this handheld console was designed to give the DS a run for its money.

Complete with a touch screen as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology, this little console certainly packs a big punch.

The PlayStation Vita will also be compatible as a second screen for the upcoming PlayStation 4, so the future is definitely looking good for this technology-lead console.

This guest post is by Francis Parker from MusicMagicPie, who is a big fan of gaming. He also focus on ways for gamers to save money – such as considering whether to to fund the purchase of other consoles or gadgets.

For those who own both a Macbook and iPad, they are wonders of modern technology that take the best in slimline computing and package them with high-quality software to give users an experience that suits them perfectly whether they’re inexperienced or IT veterans. But given that Apple have mastered both touch-screen mobile devices and laptops/personal computers, will they ever combine the two?

Surely we can’t be the only people who have dreamed of sitting down at an iMac and tapping away for a few minutes, before reaching towards the screen to shift some text around or alter an image using our fingertips. It seems like such a logical merging of two different forms of hardware, and touch-screen computers already exist in the market, so will we see iMacs and Macbooks taking advantage of the same ease-of-touch your O2 iPad features, or will we have to wait?

The smart money is on an iMac that is Retina Display making its debut far before Apple think about touch-screen desktops and notebooks, but given that the current Macbook model has Retina Display available to it, it’s arguable that this may not be all that far off. Apple have a history of launching significant new changes to their computers every so often, so perhaps the next one or two generations of notebooks and desktops will be Retina, but remain touch-free.

Some would say that the idea of smearing your fingers all over your computer screen sounds like a nightmare, but the reality is that you already do this every day with your tablet and smartphone, and with a bright screen you’re not going to notice, even if the surface is glossy (as most Apple screens are).

There’s an argument often made that mouse and keyboard are always going to be superior to touch-screen interactivity, but realistically is this true? Many parents report their children will take to an iPad like a duck to water, and then either try and “scroll” on a magazine page or tap impatiently at a computer screen. It’s simply a more instinctive way of interacting with images on a screen, and we built the mouse as a means to circumvent the lack of that technology at the time.

However, that technology is available now, and when Apple do bring it on board for the rest of their product range, the company who innovated with touch-screen gestures, multi-touch and incredible accuracy are going to reward those waiting for a device like this. Until then it’s worth bearing in mind that a combination of iPad and Macbook is not an uncommon setup, and even with a touch-screen Apple notebook you’ll still prefer your iPad for some tasks and your Macbook for others. A touch-screen iMac or Macbook are not one-fits-all approaches to computing, but they do provide an additional control method for those who have fallen in love with how instinctive a double-tap is to use compared to the old double-click.

In 2013, people are making use of so many different communications platforms that clients who will allow you to plug into more than one of your accounts at once are well-received. IM, SMS and social networking are just some of the means by which we communicate, and sending emails has become increasingly relegated to necessary business conversations instead, with the somewhat biased Mark Zuckerberg declaring email as “dead.” This isn’t a bad thing, either – because it could be argued that email is rapidly becoming a needless aspect of our everyday digital lives.

If you have dealt with information in the past week, there’s a fair chance that you could probably incorporate every form of email you have received into another service. Messages from friends could have appeared on your phone via iMessage. Pictures could have been sent via Instagram. New files for a collaborative project hosted on Dropbox. Google Docs. Skype. Twitter. There are so many options now that our reliance on a single one seems a little odd.

But we humans are nothing if not creatures of habit, and as a result email will be a hard habit to break. For many people it’s incredibly convenient, but, conversely, for many members of the younger generation it stands as a relic of a time long since past – a form of communication that isn’t as fast, nor as accessible. Its flexibility with small attachment sizes and complicated means of plugging in an IMAP or POP3 account into a new email client compared to logging into Twitter or even just GMail is noticeable.

GMail does stand as an anomaly in the field, but only because Google has managed to incorporate so many different services into the platform. GChat, Google Docs, Google Plus – while there are some worryingly Orwellian vibes surrounding its use of algorithms to suggest advertising based on the content of your emails, it remains as the most likely to survive out of all free email services because of its strong relationships with other methods of communication, all via one account.

This is the significant advantage it holds, especially over other email services. If your email isn’t a free service and is run through a third party set of servers, then there’s a reasonable chance you can’t also use that same email-and-password combination to log into other services, elsewhere on the web. It becomes yet another account that is capable of doing many things, but none of them quite as well as the specialised services from which many an internet-based business profits healthily in 2013.

Interconnectivity and convenience are two driving forces behind the popularity of the internet. Though we rarely cherish it, our relatively new-found ability to communicate with one another without considerable cost or inconvenience is a human-made blessing of sorts. Though digital, it’s arguable that most email will eventually join letter writing in the dustbin of history as we become faster, more efficient, and sadly, ultimately less patient.

This is the crux of the matter – our level of patience. Many of us have gone from blog-posts of hundreds of words to microblog posts of 140 characters or less. Millions of us status-update on Facebook rather than make phone calls and share stories out loud. As the pace increases, long-form, text-based forms of communication begin to suffer – the popularity of vlogging in comparison to blogging is a noticeable example. While email may not vanish immediately, we must take our cues not from ourselves, but from the children who will master the internet and take its reins towards their own sunset long after our night has fallen. Email is not yet a relic, but is increasingly irrelevant, and whether this is a positive or a negative is a quandary that requires the minds of the generation to follow us.

The pace of modern business is astounding. Communication is key for employees and co-workers who are constantly on the go. A common solution is the use of mobile devices. Smartphones, tablets and other smart devices are versatile tools for small and big businesses alike.

But a fleet of portable devices requires precise and customizable control in the form of mobile device management (MDM). MDM gives businesses practical and scalable management over the devices their employees use.

Research in Motion’s BlackBerry products have been a staple in wireless innovation since their introduction in 1999. According to a press release by RIM, 90 percent of Fortune 500 companies use BlackBerry smartphones today. It follows naturally that they supplement these devices with mobile device management capabilities such as BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, a next-generation MDM solution for government and business customers.

BlackBerry Mobile Fusion

Image via Flickr, by IntelFreePress

BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is the newest addition to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) infrastructure and extends BES mobile device management features to Android and iOS devices. These features include remote lock and wipe, application and software management, connectivity management, configuration management and much more.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server offers security, reliability and management on a highly scalable platform. With more personal devices being brought into the workplace than ever, BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is a practical answer to managing devices that range across multiple operating systems.

The benefits of mobile device management solutions such as BlackBerry Mobile Fusion are highly cost-effective. According to a survey on eWeek.com, the average number of full-time employees required to manage smartphones is expected to increase to 4 employees per 1,000 mobile devices in 2013, up from 2.9 employees required in 2011. At a cost of $99 per year or $4 per month per user, Mobile Fusion offers a scalable system for managing a large network of smartphones to better handle the surge of device management required by businesses.

For Enterprises

Image via Flickr, by AGmakonts

BlackBerry allows enterprises to have precise control and management catered to their needs. Multiple devices and operating systems can be managed per user allowing employees to use both corporate-owned and personal-owned phones.

It also provides a range of needs from basic ActiveSync-only syncing to full Enterprise Mobility Management for the highest levels of control needed for government or enterprise needs. RIM also provides secure encryption and containerization of data and communication to protect against data leakage and unauthorized devices accessing corporate assets.

The BlackBerry 10 is RIM’s newest OS and acts as their latest flagship product. In conjunction with BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry 10 offers unmatched management capabilities and integration with BlackBerry’s MDM suite. Many consider BlackBerry 10 a huge step forward in smartphone innovation.

Whether operating a small business or an enterprise, mobile device management is crucial to the security, integration, functionality and practicality of a smartphone solution to communication needs. Popular among large corporations and government organizations, BlackBerry provides an MDM platform that boasts an array of features.

With BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, cross-operating system integration is now fully supported. Employees are free to use their own personal devices if they please, as Fusion is now compatible with Android and iOS in addition to BlackBerry phones. Mobile device management has never been easier.

This article was one of the best guides that explain how to get and apply coupon codes while shopping online. If you’ve n’t read it yet I’ll strongly suggest you to read it.

But the problem is that when you are searching for a coupon code for purchasing from a domestic site that have wide popularity in your country chances are there that you might not find suitable coupon codes from an international coupon code site.

For e.g. if you are an Indian and wanted to purchase any product from site like Flipkart and looking for a FlipKart Promo Code you may not find it on such coupon sites.

Since there are tons of websites that offer coupon codes, it is harder to find a valid coupon on it. Searching coupon and refining it is a time consuming process.
CouponDunia is India’s Largest Coupon / Deal Site. They are the promotional partners with every major online store in India, from FlipKart to Jabong to GoIbibo, covering deals/coupons for a wide range of products like Electronics, Books, Clothes, Air Tickets, etc.

3 Steps to find Coupon Code

Step 1:Visit CouponDunia.in

Step 2: Find the specific store where you are looking for purchasing.

You can either check on homepage or click on stores tab and find the specific Indian online store.

Step 3: Find a suitable offer you are looking for and click on either click to see coupon code or click to activate deal button.

That’s it! You’re done!!

Also find ShopClues Coupons and Infibeam Coupon Code here.

The internet has grown and improved hugely in recent years. However, what if you are still having the same internet experience as a few years ago? In this case it is probably time to think about what you could do to get more out of your connection these days.

Get a New Computer

If you are using an old, tired computer then you won’t be able to enjoy all of the modern sites and services which the internet offers. The good news is that modern PCs which offer great internet usage don’t need to cost the Earth. Once you upgrade to a new computer you will see the difference almost immediately. If you only plan to go online at home then a desktop PC will probably offer you the best value. If you plan to connect while you are away from your house then you might like to consider a laptop or some other mobile computing option.

Find New Sites

Another common problem is that of not going out to find new sites. The internet isn’t a static place and it chances every day. If you rely on just a couple of tried and tested sites to get your fun and information then you could be missing out on some brilliant sites. You could ask some friends for recommendations or you could simply spend an hour or so surfing and looking for anything which might be of interest to you. There are now so many sites out there that you are certain to come across a few which you love if you put the effort into tracking them down.

Try a Better Broadband Connection

A poor quality internet connection is guaranteed to give you a less than impressive experience. This is because many of the most exciting things to do online need a fast and reliable connection to get the most out of them. For example, if you have ever tried downloading big files then it probably ended in frustration if your internet connection couldn’t handle it as quickly as you would have liked. The best idea here is to go for fibre optics. This is the connection technology used by cutting edge service providers such as Sky Broadband. Once you get your connection upgraded to something which goes at a fast speed and doesn’t let you down then you will realize that there is so much more to the internet than what you had come across in the past.

Computer security is of great importance these days. We work on our computers and often leave critical data there. Not only that, but with the advent of online banking facilities, we often access very sensitive and critical information on our laptops and desktops. For this reason it’s essential that we keep Windows clear of any Trojans and viruses.

What is a Trojan?

A Trojan is a harmful programme – malware – similar to a virus. While a virus might damage your Windows 7 installation or delete your data, a Trojan can cause more serious damage. The word ‘Trojan’ refers to the old Greek myth of the Trojan Horse. Like that, a Windows 7 trojan virus pretends to be something else, and as it gains your trust, it gains the ability to cause serious damage. Some Trojans can masquerade as games, others can pretend to be computer security programs, while others will pretend to be innocuous Microsoft Word files. These programs are very dangerous as while they pretend to be safe, they could be stealing your vital data or damaging your documents and files. For this reason, you must make sure that your Windows 7 installation is free of any Trojans or viruses

How to guard against Windows 7 Trojans?

These tips should help you keep your Windows 7 computer free of Trojans:

Don’t click on untrusted Internet links

Don’t believe website popups that claim your system has a virus or Trojan

Don’t install apps and programs from untrusted or suspicious sources

Don’t use pirated software

Keep Windows 7 updated

Install a Windows security or antivirus program and scan your system regularly

Remove Trojan virus easily from Windows 7

Of course, if a Trojan still got through and has infected your Windows 7 computer, you can still remove it easily. This is what you should do to clean your computer and remove all Trojans from Windows:

Download and install a security programme like Malwarebytes, Norton Internet Security, McAfee, Kaspersky AV, or Vipre. Only use the official links for downloading these vital apps

Reboot your Windows computer

When booting up, press F8 to access the boot menu

Select the Safe Mode option

Run the antivirus or security programme you installed and let it scan your entire computer.

The security programme should catch the Trojan that has infected your Windows 7 installation and remove it.

Once the security programme says Windows is fine, exit and reboot

Again reboot into Safe Mode and run the antivirus

The scan should come up clean. If not, let the security programme clean whatever viruses and Trojans it finds.

Reboot! Your computer should be clean now. If you ever haver any doubts, just repeat this procedure.

Computer security is no laughing matter these days. Pirated software and cyber criminals have made it vital that we use antivirus and security programmes. Common sense is the best defense against such dangers – Install programs only if you trust the source, and never click on shady websites. These precautions, combined with a good antivirus app, should keep you safe. Of course, if some pesky Trojan virus manages to sneak past, you can use our easy-to-use procedure to clean your Windows 7 system!
