To support 1.0 client you need the latest dev release. The stable release is only good for older (0.14.0) client.

Well here’s the thing. If I connect on PE on my phone, the console says 1/20 people are online. If I type /list, it says 0 players online. On my phone, it gets stuck at the “dirt” loading screen…I’ve run a full minecraft server for almost 5 years and I can’t figure out why I can’t connect to this one lol.

Are you able to connect locally, on your own network? This would at least tell you if it’s an issue with port forwarding or an issue with the server/server computer itself.

So if anything, it proves that Comcast could potentially be throttling Netflix.
