Why My Computer Always Restart or Booting

You always irritated when your PC always restart or shutdown during playing , making some web site search or office works .. you can pissed off when happen during the mid of your work .e,g presentation long typing words of doc and the only thing you forget is hitting a save icon/button so your work is down and get back to work again from scratch..

So I Decide to make a little explanation based in my experienced for almost 10 years as computer technician

first we category your PC or machine according to date manufactured,

You Can check your pc when date birth in the bios setting the first text appear when your computer start.

1) 5 years ++ old pc are very rare life span of the motherboard is on that line sometime 2 -3 years after you purchased symptoms show very often,,

2) 2-3 years old this the day you always encountered this problem

3) month - 1-year old

*** For The 5 years old PC if your machine still kicking
a.) check the power supply if the fan is still spinning clean it necessary
b.) check video card fan is still spinning at check it for hot surface in 5mins after start up
c.) check southbridge heatzinc add fan if needed
d.) clean memory golden feet and check it with memory test software HIREN software is optional ,pencil back eraser is the best for it,, make sure not to hard to scratch.
e.) check you hardisk noise if making unusual noise it cause for bad disk put in the HDD software and check for bad sector.

*** For 2-3 years old machine
a.) used in the first method to the last ..
b.) try to analyzed the cause of starting ,1st the power line down to to the output device connected to pc like usb thumdrive keyboard/mouse.
c.) if you buy your pc brand new from the store 3 parts usually causing for restarting it comes for the add ons card or not part of the motherboard,,
1.) power supply
2.) video card
3.) memory
4) hardisk

check this parts with software utilities
clean first from dust
rent or borrow this 3 parts from your friend to avoid wrong diagnose and save your time at cash.

***A Month old or 1 year pc is unexpected to show a symptoms of restarting.. 90% of this due for some dust around the fans of power supply. video card fan or a bad hardisk or bad sector..

When Considering buying a New PC or a Video Card , Take a special look on the heat zinc and fan Style of the card PC's you bought from the store or online got a package items including Printer,Speaker, headset is got a budget and not moving items of the store shelves so they put it on to the package and put some little drop down price so customer will amaze.. and what do you expect the things inside.. specially a Video Card that got a Mid range Build quality a budget Chips or Budget heat zinc and fan ,that's a Wrong Decision of the customer to accept it in the store .

One way to diagnose your Video card health is for massive gaming .depends in what kind of game your card or PC can handle . when your PC turn off while in your game or restart suddenly ,, please touch gently your Video card Heat zinc and fan if hot turn on again and check your Video card fan if he;s doing his job..

Remedy for Defective Video Card

1, Re -solder bloated capacitor
2, Put extra Fan ..( i used CPU fan and put the power connector in motherboard Chassis fan slot
3. Always check for liquid spilled around the PCB clean it with hair dryer
4, Clean your PC from dust every month..
5, IF blackout ( Off the heat zinc and fan and put it on Motherboard and put your finger in the GPU so you can feel the heat arise in the chips and turn off the power every minutes do it 2-3x and put back tha fan and heat zinc an try ,, 50%/50% on this method )

90% of Video Card problem is over heating and 10% comes for liquid spilled around PCB board due for Capacitor leaked or some insects or mice liquid ..

Tips For Buying Video Card ..

1,Check if the fan is heavy duty to cover the whole hot area of the Card.
2. Buy or install Extra heat zinc or fan
3, you can put some extra heat zinc..so the memory got cool too.

Is sad to think when your desktop icon is gone ,when your open your PC or laptop. Is not an improper start of PC OS or something about the power connector like somebody think,, is because you install something in star up program and register it to run upon pc start or a worm causes this in the slow process of displaying your desktop icons, even you got a high power CPU and huge RAM..(Feel like a Pentium 1 old day machine)

Here a tips and tricks:

1) First check antivirus for update and run scan

2) If problem still exists go to start >Run type MSCONFIG

3) Go to startup tab check it unknown application running in background when PC start

4) Select it by uncheck it and make it research for an associated programs

5) 80% of it is cause for a online application or a update program like winamp agent and Hp product support (is not a bad program just reinstall it )

6) Restart the PC. Make it a list for your task so you can make it back if you got a wrong un run program

7) You can run in safe mode to and uninstall a suspect program

How To Deal garbage display Video card

One time around 7am i woke up and open my pc to check latest emails. i was shocked when i see a garbage display on my monitor screen,
solutions of other tech on this is time to change your video card or get back to store when your brought it, you can breath easy when is in warranty date but if not you got a serious cash to pull out your pocket. but wait hold your horses there's you can do this if the video card is out of warranty.
again Don't do this if your not a pro.

first check you video card for any liquid spills around components
check the fan if still good
now pull out the heatsink and fan
you now see a bare gpu processor brand
plug it to slot of you pc either PCI-E or AGP slot
make your finger touch the gpu and the other hand on the pc power switch
now power on the pc focus your eyes to the monitor and your sensitive touch of your finger on the Gpu
be sensitive to heat. GPU chips make easy to get hot without fan and heatsink
now put back the heatsink, fans and try the display on the monitor if the garbage display is fix

Garbage display is cause by to much heat to produce with out cooling them out so fan & heatsink is your suspect so buy a new heatsink and fans for your video card

NOTE: don't torture your new fix video card , cards fix this method can't go 100% performance like the first time you bought it so be gentle..buy a new one if you can afford if not here's my recommendation to save your
cash..

Lithium-Ion batteries have a finite life. they slowly degrade from the day they are first made. The life of the battery will depend upon how you charge and discharge the battery and the temperature at which the battery is kept.

The truth about Li-ion batteries is that high temperatures are their worst enemy. Therefore, the following tips will help prevent laptop batteries from getting too warm.

Always use a laptop on a hard surface. Don’t put it on your lap (despite its name) or on thermal insulating materials such as cushions. If you like to work in bed with your laptop, I recommend using a laptop table.
Try to avoid charging the battery while you are working with the laptop. Charging the batteries increases your laptop’s temperature. The problem is that the CPU, the graphics card and the hard disk also heat up your laptop, which adds to the temperature increase experienced when charging the battery. Many vendors deliver their laptops with software that allows you to disable charging. You also can remove the battery while you are working on AC current.
Make sure the laptop’s ventilation can always work properly. Don’t place objects before the ventilation systems opening. Don’t run or charge the laptop while it is in its case.
Don’t leave the laptop in the car or under the sun in summer. Use a bike. It keeps your laptop battery cool and your own battery healthy. And too much sun exposure causes only skin cancer anyway.
Do Not - Charge your Notebook/Tablet PC inside a carry case - the battery may overheat.
Condition a new battery by using it until it is fully discharged, and then re-charge it fully. Doing this once a month will help to accurately calibrate your battery.
When you receive a new NoteBook or Tablet PC, leave the battery to fully charge overnight.

Note:

First let’s be categorized how hackers take a way to do it.

Kinds of hacking

Eye - logger -is a basic way even your boyfriend can do.( watch your back)
Key - logger –is software that can record your key strokes.

Boot: Couldn't find NTLDR Please insert another disk

That was a nice smoothed day after I got dinner, I open my PC and checked some emails after that I turn it off and go to bed. I woke up late night due some calls to read urgent emails. I stood up in bed and open my PC.

Just shocked my head in what I seen in my monitor. NTLRD error. Tsk .tsk , wondering why life are so many things that always come in unexpected way.

Ok that’s man made no doubt about it. Let’s talk this and try to find easy remedy.

In my 7 years experienced dealing on this. Hardisk that’s 5 years old below are prong on this.

Causes of NTLDR Errors

The most common reason for this error is when your PC is trying to boot from a hard drive or flash drive that is not properly configured to be booted from; in other words, it's trying to boot from anon-bootable source. This also would apply to media on an optical drive or floppy drive that you're trying to boot from.

Other possible causes include corrupt and misconfigured files, hard drive and operating system upgrade issues, corrupt hard drive sectors, an outdated BIOS, and damaged or loose IDE cables.

Fixes for NTLDR Errors

1. Restart the PC. The NTLDR error could be a fluke.

2. Check your floppy and optical (CD/DVD/BD) drives for media and disconnect any external drives. Often times, the "NTLDR is Missing" error will appear if your PC is trying to boot to a non-bootable floppy disk, CD/DVD/BD, or external hard drive or flash drive.

Note: If you find that this is the cause of your problem and it's happening a lot, you might want to consider changing the boot order in BIOS so the hard drive with Windows installed is listed first.

3. Check the hard drive and other drive settings in BIOS and ensure they are correct. The BIOS configuration tells the computer how to use a drive so incorrect settings can cause problems, including NTLDR errors.

Note: There is usually an Auto setting for hard drive and optical drive configurations in BIOS which is usually a safe bet if you're not sure what to do.

4. Restore the NTLDR and ntdetect.com files from the Windows XP CD. Restoring these two important system files from the original Windows XP CD may do the trick.

5. Repair or replace the boot.ini file. This will prevent the NTLDR error if the cause of the problem is a boot.ini file that is not configured properly for your Windows XP installation.

6. Write a new partition boot sector to the Windows XP system partition. If the partition boot sector has become corrupt or isn't properly configured, you may receive the "NTLDR is Missing" error.

7. Repair the Windows XP master boot record. NTLDR error messages may also appear if the master boot record is corrupt.

8. Reseat all internal data and power cables. NTLDR error messages could be caused by loose or malfunctioning IDE cables.

Try replacing the IDE cable cable if you suspect it might be faulty.

9. Update your motherboard's BIOS. Occasionally, an outdated BIOS version can cause the "NTLDR is Missing" error.

10. Perform a repair installation of Windows XP. This type of installation should replace any missing or corrupt files. Continue troubleshooting if this does not resolve the issue.

11. Perform a clean installation of Windows XP. This type of installation will completely remove Windows XP from your PC and install it again from scratch. While this will almost certainly resolve any NTLDR errors, it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your data must be backed up and then later restored.

If you can't gain access to your files to back them up, understand that you will lose them all if you continue with a clean installation of Windows XP.

12. Replace the hard drive and then perform a new installation of Windows XP. If all else has failed, including the clean installation from the last step, you're most likely facing a hardware issue with your hard drive.

How to disable USB in Windows

Disable your access port USB is easy ..

If a USB storage device is not already installed on the computer, assign the user or the group and the local SYSTEM account Deny permissions to the following files:

If a USB storage device is already installed on the computer

set the Start value in the following registry key to 4:

when you bought a computer in forms of laptop/Desktop is running smoothly in first week after that is run like a turtle in land..

1) watch your installing. software or hardware.

read first before you install hardware or software is a big problem if doesn't fit to your machine. make some review or ask question to the expert, google is your friend ..(watch out for Free software it comes a with extra surprises always)

2) install and update your antivirus regularly .scan your usb drive external drive on antivirus before access your files

3) run weekly exercise.. Defrag and scandisk your drive once a weekly

4)shut down in a proper way.. thats a cause of bad disk or a corrupt registry
