The JooJoo was formerly called as the CrunchPad which created heavy waves in the market. It is quite surprising because within a week we have seen the launch of two tables in the market. JooJoo is good looking in its looks and is a 12 inch gadget which can enable users to browse, watch movies whenever they travel. But no one has landed their hands on the gadget to give us some information about the functionality. Still suprprises surround around JooJoo. So, remember the era of tablet gadgets are slowly evolving.

The looks and features are awesome as suggested by some users and it will surely be a huge success like the iPhone series.

The iPads that were on sale on Saturday included Wi-Fi and were prices in the ranges from $499 to $699. Also there are various storage options available for us to choose from. It can also be called as an advanced version of iTouch. We all know the promise of Zune HD given by Microsoft at CES this year. They are almost complete with it and is going to be launched very sooner may be in the next few weeks. As far as Zune HD is concerned it is all about the Smart DJ feature with Xvid and AVI containers. This update will soon hit the market along with a new feature of Zune HD dock which everyone will enjoy.

The extra features include the ability to navigate through the Zune marketplace right from our Tv with the Zune HD plugged into the dock. Microsoft has always been in competition with Apple’s Genius and this feature will really make it smarter. This also means that the new feature will be very fast in operation. As for the moment the exact date has not been published but the download can be done from the PC without any hustle. So, if anyone comes to know about it share it with us.

Although the bank has 28 systems under the same technology for meetings and training, it further wants to take it to the next big level. HP is also in the same process with Cisco.

But Cisco’s approach is always better and different which involves making the customers buy high end devices like HD monitors, cameras which can give efficient output. Many corporate companies have gained about this Cisco TelePresence but the new company’s which may look to implement this has to spend more than $250,000 but experts reveal that it has saved much more than expected in terms of travel savings and productivity. Hope this collaboration between Cisco and Bank of America would be a huge success.

The first worm also know as ikee or Rickrolling worm which was created by an australian student changes the wallpaper of the jailbroken iPhone to a picture of '80s pop star Rick Astley. He told a local media that he experimenting with a malicious code which went wrong, infecting lot of jailbroken iPhone users on the Optus network, australia.

The second worm targeted customers of Dutch online bank ING Direct. Surfers visiting the the ING direct site with the infected devices are redirected to a phishing site. The "Duh" or Ikee-B worm, like the Rickrolling worm exploits an SSH backdoor on jailbroken handsets in order to spread. Unlike the former this spreads across a wider range of ip. The worm changes the infected iPhones root password from "alpine" to "ohshit".

Now the phishing sites have been brought down by the officials. Experts advises the jaibroken phones to change their passwords from 'alpine'. Though Jailbreaking gives a lot of advantages there are some security holes in it.

Think twice before jailbreaking an iphone or i touch.

~c

Security experts have demonstrated the vulnerability with various examples which can cause devastating consequences. The first phase for a hacker is to succeed in a man in the middle attack which is quite a difficult task.

The SSL authentication gap bug is the mode of exploit for an attacker to gain access to a network. The demonstration revealed how the Authentication flaw still remains a challenge. First the attacker sends a data that causes the SSL server to reply with a redirect message which in turn is sent to the Web Browser to another page. The attacker then takes the help of the redirect message to move the victim to unsecured connection where all the modification to the web pages can be written by the hacker before they are sent to the victim.

Even the demonstration of twitter hacks poses a great threat to many organizations in safeguarding their data. This has surely raised the question of the reliability of the Secure Socket Lays protocol. Google went one step further as it always does, announced that it will be launching an OS . Ever since the announcement made by Google, there has been buzz all around.

Google Chrome OS is an open source project which will be a light weight when compared to the other OS available at present. Google states that initially it will be targeting the notebooks market. Acer, ASUS, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, and Toshiba are the partners who will be marketing their notebooks with this light weight OS. These notebooks hit the market later half of 2010 if everything goes as planned. Google chrome will be running on top of a Linux kernel with a new windowing system. Google says that the OS will be effective , secured and simple. The applications for the Chrome OS can be created using any known web technologies. The application not only works on this particular OS but can be used in other OS like Mac, Windows and Linux thereby the developer has the user base on all platforms. Yes, the latest sixth sense technology introduced by Pranav Mistry of MIT is an awesome masterpiece for the future. If you think the touch screen as the future please reconsider it as the Sixth sense overrides others in all features. Using sixth sense is very easy by having a projector coupled with a mobile phone. One can launch its interface on any objects and start operating it just like that.

Even taking photos is very sophisticated which is done by using our bare hands fitted with some sensors. Although many electronic companies wanted to get copyrights its inventor has decided to publish this technology in an open source format which will help the future generation to discover many applications based on this platform. Now the dream has come true where people can carry their computer on their neck. This sixth sense technology also has normal browsing facilities, file manipulations and so on.

If yes, I am going to disappoint you with the latest SQL injection technique. The NIDS fails to detect attacks when attacker’s uses high value target coupled schemas to perform the SQL injection. This is done by using static signature definitions which bypasses the NIDS.

The main problem is because all NIDS lacks in the context to defend itself from HTTP requests which has malicious codes. The only solution to solve this problem to a certain extent is by using the SSL. When SSL encrypts the data the packets which are sealed cannot be transferred back to the original data. And sometimes this also fails. Better to analyze the pros and cons of a network efficiently.

As many organizations aims to protect the privacy of their customers and internal data Seagate has come with a new level of security called Self Encrypting Drives(SED).

These self encrypting drives are one of the easiest and safest mechanisms to stop any kind of breach activities. Most breaches occur when a hard drive goes out of service. So, such things can be avoided if SED has been used thereby restricting the access to the internal data. These hard drives are very useful for health care and financial companies to safeguard their customers privacy and information.

The study reveals that a host-based security application can block all kinds of Denial-of-service attacks efficiently by using IPCAF which is Identity-based privacy-protected access control. This software also has the ability to stop all other attacks like session hijacking, man in the middle attack and other such attacks. Their simulative study has also revealed stopping massive denial of service attacks. Be updated on this as it may be very informative in your study.

As most people share their sensitive messages through e-mails protecting them has become the need of the hour. In the recent days a major phishing scam has been exposed by Microsoft which has created a big panic in the internet world. But people do not have to worry now because there are various encryption software’s which can provide maximum security to the message transmitted across the network. One such kind is Easy Email Encryption. This master piece has the ability to encrypt the texts which in turn is copied on to the email message. The receiver just receives the encrypted text which can be decrypted by using the same software. By this email users can ensure confidentiality.

It is time for the static billboards to move out and give way to digital signage. Digital signage is the most effective “out of home advertising” that is now being preferred by all the major advertising firms.

Digital signage makes use of electronic displays like LCD or plasma screens to showcase messages at public places. China tops the list of users for digital signage. This advertising technology could be used effectively for

• Brand building and promotion
• Displaying public information like news flash, weather reports, local information
• Are the great replacements for billboards and are also used for providing directions to the customers like fire exit etc.
• Being used to help customers in busy restaurants and banks by showing their order number or coupon numbers

Digital signage's are gaining popularity as they refresh easily and no additional money has to be spent on printing new advertisements. Moreover digital signage can easily be modified based on the type of the audience and can also be used to display animations and presentations. Digital signage is here to stay because of its high return on investment as compared to conventional methods of using printed signs.
