I'll admit that I can be shallow as hell when I'm picking biases. That doesn't mean I don't support a group if I think the members are average looking, I just choose the members that stand out to me and tag them as my biases. Is that so wrong? Either way, here are my top three biases from Kara and my explanations for choosing them. Nicole Nicole is my all around bias. She has the beauty

The YG camp has been pretty busy promoting Psy and GD, while our favorite ladies from 2NE1 have been laying low. So I've been doing some nostalgic post searching this morning nad came upon my first post I wrote about Kara. Although Kara was one of the first Kpop groups I ever listened to (the second one I found actually) I haven't really written great deal about them. So this post is just dedicated to all their songs and music videos that I love but haven't actually posted on this blog before as

(Originally posted in The SLS Blog) There was a lot of speculations on whether or not Korean rapper/singer Psy was going to be able to follow up on hist viral hit "Gangnam Style". Psy released the follow up video to Saturday, called Gentleman.  Already, the video has produced over 10

I noticed this sort of pattern of mine when writing on this blog. Whenever my bias groups go on hiatus, so do I. Neither Big Bang nor 2NE1 is making any new music right now, and since my other favorite groups haven't been releasing either, I haven't been posting. But that doesn't mean that I haven't been listening to Kpop or Jpop during my unofficial leave of absence. Heck, the whole 18 hour

So instead of writing my English paper, I've decided to focus my time giving you all a recap of the concert. I've been keeping this on the hush because everything happened so fast and I didn't want to jinx anything. I went with three other girls and we all drove a car to New Jersey. We got lost in Atlanta for like an hour thanks to the demonic GPS that came with our rental, but

I'm four days late to the party, but I can still say it's new since it's not a full week yet. Brown Eyed Girl's most popular singer Gain has released the first video Bloom from her solo album. The video starts off really slow and sweet, while a film reel of Gain enjoying life. Then we start to see. It looks like the start of a typical love song with the girl dreaming about her lover. That's

The song, titled Fashion Monster, is Kyary's latest and she's just released a video for the single. The video is definetly Halloween styled with Frankenstein and what I asume is a goblin playing in her band. The video is in typical Kyary style -very random with wild fashions, but this is darker than her last two. Kyary seems to be a little more badass with this when she flicks off the

Attention Ladies and Gentlemen, SPICA is back! The glamorous ladies with the vocal skills of goddesses*  have returned with a new video called I'll be There. The song is more upbeat and reminds me of early 90's bubble gum pop songs by Mandy Moore and Brittany Spears. A few viewerseven thinks this songe reminds them of the Spice Girl's classic "Wannabe". The girls too have changed their

Well GD has been surprising me with his solo album so far. I was sure that his follow up single to That XX was going to be a let down, but I obviously misjudeged Mr. GD. His latest is called "Crayon". Get your Crayon= get your crazy on. The video is funny, but I like the performance wayyy better. Check them out! Inkigayo Stage

T-ara released their latest music video called "Sexy Love". The video is the first single that the group has released since the departure of Hwayoung. The concept of the video is okay, and I'm not really thrilled by anything in it. As ususal with T-ara, the  song is extremely catchy. Love the "Sexy eyes, sexy nose ..." chorus. In typical T-Ara fashion, they'v released a

Although he's my bias in BigBang, I have never been much of a fan of GD's solo work. Don't get me wrong, he's a great song writer, rapper, producer, and an amazing artist. He loves to go outside of the box with his music, but sometimes it doesn't hit the mark to me. I only liked a few tracks from Heartbreaker and skipped his solo parts on the GD&Top album. So when his

Psy has been getting lots of love for his viral hit Gangnam Style. Believe me: Working two jobs, going to summer school, and blogging is no easy task as you might have been able to guess from my abscence. I mean I've missed lots of great music, like Queen BoA's Korean comeback and some new rookie groups I'll try to discuss later, but I've gotten a break and it's time to get back on track! This is 4Minute's Japanes PV to their song "Love Tension". HyunA

The SLS> 2NE1's "I Love You" Mv is here!  The camera is loving CL in this video, and I'm loving her style. Dara is owning her new hair cut, even though she does look like GD's twin during his Fantastic Baby promotions. I wish they utilized Bom a bit more in this video, she doesn't really get to do much until the last scene. Of course, my girl Minzy can hold her own no matter

2NE1 has released a new single called I Love You which is now available on iTunes for purchase. The song is reportedly making headway on online charts gaining an all kill on Melon and reportedly reaching number two on American iTune charts. The new single is turn from 2NE1's previous work, but I'm guessing that YG has finally seen that it's time for the girls to switch it up. (Catch

As I told you guys before, I'm going complete STAN for Spica. I've already gotten the members names down (thank you Youtubers!) and I'm realizing the full potential these ladies really possess with after spending days listenint to their music. As You all may know, every member in this group is capable of holding down a track all on her own. No one was let into this group based solely on

Only a few more days left before BigBang reveals their new "Monster" video. After releasing teaser photos of their outfits, teaser videos of each of the members soon followed.
