Miley Cyrus is growing up right before our very eyes.

Earlier in the week, VIBE hit the red carpet at the MAXIM Hot 100 party in Hollywood where a glam Cyrus walked the red carpet after being crowned the top spot on the hot chick list. We casually asked her who she thought deserved the Number One spot. The 20-year-old singer's reply? Rihanna. She then went off on the Bajan singer's tongue-swaggering hotness. "She's, like, so hot," Cyrus said. (Rihanna was No. 3 on MAXIM's 2013 Hot 100 list.)

Maybe we were a little tired, or it was all the light bulbs flashing, but the way Cyrus described Rihanna warranted our next question: Would you make out with her? (Because, truthfully, who wouldn't, right?) Cyrus' coy answer ..."You know, we'll see...It depends."

Today, Cyrus, who's reportedly engaged to Liam Hemsworth, changes her mind. In reply to VIBE's tweet -- "MileyCyrus would kinda, maybe, "it depends" make out with Rihanna -- Cyrus tweeted out the following awesome zinger.

While the future of this girl-on-girl session lies in the hands of the currently single Rihanna, fans of both ladies should at least hope for a music collaboration. Cyrus is currently prepping her fourth studio album.

Louis Tomlinson Starts Fresh Feud With The Wanted After Band Diss One Direction But Call Harry Styles A 'Top Sh*gger'

Just when we thought the One Direction and The Wanted Twitter feud had come to an end, Louis Tomlinson has been on a messaging spree once again after TW spoke out about the battle of the boybands in a recent radio interview.

Jay McGuiness revealed all about the band members recent feud, saying that he doesn't mind SOME of the band, but there are others that he cannot stand. Wonder who he's talking about?

The singer was being interviewed in Australia by Jackie O, when he was asked about the 1D 'gay rumours.'

He said: “We heard it as a crazy theory that every boy band has to have one.”

The floppy haired star then continued to reveal more about the battle of the boybands, saying: “It generated just because we were two UK boybands… People were like, is there a rivalry? Well yeah, in the charts there is, but we don’t have anything against them. But then over time it generated a bit of bad feeling.”

He then continued to say that the band have been wound up by the constant comments: “You hear comments they’ve said in interviews to wind you up, and vice versa and then…it’s kind of fake, but then a few of the lads have wound me up personally.”

The Wanted don’t hate all of One Direction though, not at all. We already know they have a problem with Louis and we think they definitely dislike Liam Payne as he’s got involved in a few boyband Twitter spats too, but they claim that they are full of admiration for Harry Styles.

Max said: “I don’t mind a couple of them, but the other three, especially two of them. I don’t mind Harry, top sh**ger. I just like what I read, he does really well with the women, he’s a cool guy.”

Jay agrees and quite likes Harry, even if he can’t stand his bandmates, saying: “I think he’s retained manners and a bit of dignity, whereas some of them, when they mouth off it really gets under my skin. It riles up loads of 14 year old girls and there’s no need for that, just talk to us.”

However, the comments didn't go down too well with 1D's Louis, who was quick to take to Twitter, posting: "So frustrating when people talk the talk in the press but when it comes down to it not a word is said face to face!"

He then went on to tag Jay's personal profile.

Justin Bieber’s Monkey Now Belongs to Germany

As you may recall, Justin Bieber was forced to leave his monkey, Mally, in the care of German customs officials in late March, when he tried to bring the pet into the country without the proper paperwork. Bieber was given four weeks to put together the documents needed to claim the now 20-week-old capuchin, but it seems that he simply did not care to do so: The deadline expired at midnight last night. Mally is now property of the German state, and will likely be sent to live in some kind of primate rescue facility "because a zoo might publicize" the already traumatized creature. Meanwhile, Bieber still owes "several thousand euros for food, care and vet visits" provided to the monkey since it was seized. "You can bet we are going to ask for that money back," said a German customs official, who does not sound like much of a Belieber.

Demi Lovato got candid in a new “Nightline” interview on Thursday, revealing some of the lessons she’s learned after a rough few years.

When asked if her breakup with Joe Jonas inspired some of the heartbreak-themed songs on her new album, the singer said, “Well, we were in a relationship and we broke up, and at one point, I was really mad at him.”

“But today, in this moment, which is the moment that I’m living in, we have a great friendship,” explained Lovato.

While she's just being Miley around L.A., her fiancé is living it up in the South of France, according to reports.

The 23-year-old Australian actor was seen at the Cannes Film Festival Friday to promote the "Hunger Games" Sequel "Catching Fire" alongside costars Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Claflin.

Meanwhile Cyrus was spotted at the recording studio to continue to work on her new music.

Rumors swirled that it’s the same studio that Justin Bieber was reported to be recording at this week, hinting there may be a Biebs/Cyrus collaboration in the works.

"Gotta focus on making this music with @MikeWiLLMadeIt #phonedown #goodnighttweethearts xo," Cyrus Tweeted Thursday.

Back in France, "Hemsworth arrived at the Belvedere party's VIP Room around 1:20 a.m.on Saturday with a small group of male executives," Us Weekly reported.

The handsome star was seen sipping on beer, after declining champagne and smoking Marlboro Lights, according to the mag.

Hemsworth seemed to be enjoying the music and politely spoke to fans that approached him at the affair.

After party No. 1, Hemsworth jumped over to Nikki Beach at Les Marches with a bodyguard for a few more drinks before leaving around 3 a.m., reportedly alone.

While Cyrus and Hemsworth pending nuptials are said to be on hold hinting at relationship trouble, Cyrus was just spotted flashing her engagement ring at the Maxim 100 party in NYC this week.

The X Factor USA judge recently opened up about her friendship to Selena Gomez, saying that the showbiz pals had simply "grown apart."

Selena and Demi became really good friends over 10 years ago when they both starred in Barney and Friends, as both of their careers took off they were no longer close and now Demi, 20, has revealed her hopes of a closer relationship in future.

Talking during her Live From MTV special on Tuesday May 14, Demi said: "We've been through a lot together. We've had periods of time where we grew apart and we just didn't really talk. But now we're in a place where I think we realised that life is so short, and that when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them."

Demi also referred to Selena's mother Mandy Teefey's pregnancy, as she said: "[Selena's] going to be a big sister, and I want to be around for that. Everything about her -she has a great soul, she's talented, she's beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart."

Earlier this year, Demi opened up about her stint in rehab and how she only had a few friends contact her.

The Skyscraper star told Company magazine that following her stay in 2010, she had become more selective about her friends.

"A couple of months before I went to rehab, I had a birthday party, and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends," she said.

"When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake-up call."

Demi, who recently revealed that she had made lots of suggestions to Simon Cowell about who should be the new X Factor USA judges, continued: "I don't have loads of friends. I used to, but then I realised, do any of them actually care? Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, will come to the hospital with me. Miley Cyrus is now a two-time member of the Swatted Club ... after cops were called to her house last night for yet another fake 911 emergency ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, cops received a 911 call at around 8:55 PM last night from a female claiming to be calling from her closet and reporting shots fired in her home.

Of course, when cops arrived ... they quickly determined the call was not real.

Our sources say Miley was not home at the time of the incident.

One of our photogs rolled by Miley's crib not long after the call was place and found the coast all clear.

This isn't the first time cops have been dispatched to Miley's crib on a bogus call. Miley was swatted last August, which was one of the first ... in what has turned out to be many ... such incidents.

Rob was recently filming a movie in Australia when split rumors really began to swirl. Many were put to rest though when the Twilight stars were later seen holding hands at Coachella.

Emma Watson suspects zombies in “This Is The End” clip

It seems as though Emma Watson will have more than just a small cameo appearance in “This Is The End.” A new clip from the upcoming comedy action movie has been released, and it shows that she does more here than just attend James Franco’s party and then later come after the movie’s leads with an axe like the trailers have teased.

In fact, she ends up staying with Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel and Craig Robinson in their save haven of Franco’s home. Unlike the rest of them, Watson has spent plenty of time on the outside and suspects she knows what apocalyptic event is going down: zombies. Based on the creatures we’ve seen running around in “This Is The End’s” trailers, she’s likely wrong, but maybe Rogen has gone crazy in his directorial debut and incorporated a bunch of different apocalyptic tropes in this film.

Honestly, we’re just happy that Watson is more than just a bit part. Her inclusion is one of our favorite elements of the movie, and it’s nice to see the “Harry Potter” actress doing something completely different from her usual. She looks like she’s fantastic in “This Is The End,” and the rest of the cast seems as excited to have her as we are.

“This Is the End” is the directorial debut of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. In addition to those already listed, the movie stars Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Martin Starr, Kevin Hart and David Krumholtz. It’s due in theaters on June 12.

Former best friends Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez feuded three years ago, causing their friendship to dissipate. Recently Lovato opened up to MTV News about the state of her friendship with Gomez and what she thinks about the pop star’s new music.

Lovato and Gomez met as youngsters on the set of Barney & Friends in 2002, and have maintained a cordial friendship in the public eye. Like any friendship, their's had its ups and downs, which Lovato spoke about in a “Live from MTV” special.

In the interview with MTV News, Lovato said, "We've been through a lot together, we've had periods of times we here we grew apart and we just didn't really talk," of her friendship with Gomez.

Around the time of their feud, rumors swirled that Gomez’s budding friendship with superstar Taylor Swift was interfering with her relationship with Lovato, but the “Skyscraper” singer maintains that the two are past that.

“Now we are in a place where I think we realized that life is so short and that when you have people in your life that love you so much then, you should just always be around them," Lovato said, “Everything about her, she has a great soul, she's talented, she's beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart."

Lovato’s desire to “be around” Gomez extends to her musical preferences. The Huffington Post reports that upon hearing Gomez’s new single “Come & Get It”, Lovato tweeted she was “obsessed.”

Emma Watson: I almost quit acting after Harry

Emma Watson, best known as the Hogwarts swot Hermione Grainger, considered giving up acting altogether at the close of the Harry Potter series. For two years, she studied solidly and refused so much as to read a script. The point was "to figure out what I enjoyed, who I was and how I wanted to spend my time," she said yesterday at the Cannes Film Festival. "I considered not being an actress; I considered it all."

"I think this film has scarred me slightly. I see a designer bag and it just weirds me out. "

Clearly, she decided that acting was for her after all. Watson is currently in Cannes promoting The Bling Ring, Sofia Coppola's blistering true-crime film about a group of Los Angeles schoolgirls who robbed the houses of the celebrities they admire. Watson masters a formidably whining Valley Girl accent to play Nicky, who sees her eventual arrest as a promotional opportunity. "Nicky does not think she is going to jail. That is absolutely not entering her head," said Watson. "This is her five minutes of fame; this is her time to brand herself."

Watson has lived with her own celebrity since she was 11, when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone launched the most successful of all cinema franchises. Unlike Nicky, she describes herself as "quite shy". "She wants to be seen and she dresses to impress, whereas when I'm not working I dress to draw as little attention to 'me' as possible," she said.

She believes she learned a great deal about herself during her two years away from public scrutiny. "You start to accept things in your personality. I think I really used to beat myself up about not wanting to go out, I thought there was something really peculiar about me. But I just gave up trying to fit in so much. I am much more OK with myself now, which is important."

A canny agent lured her back to work, she says, by sending her the script of The Perks of Being a Wallflower as a bit of weekend reading. "And I don't know what it was, but something just clicked and I felt compelled to get the film made."

Then along came Sofia Coppola's script, which spoke to her own experience. "No one really makes films about the underbelly of this industry and what it's like to be a real human being in it. I live that. I think that is why Sofia and I connected, that we both understand that."

The Facebook generation has unprecedented access to the rich and famous, she observed during the press conference that followed the film's first Cannes screening.

"We are becoming saturated with images. They can embody whatever they [fans] project onto that image, so in a sense people really feel invested, feel connected to that person and that world." But these images, she cautioned, have little to do with reality. "It's a narrative that our society and culture has really become obsessed with."

Despite being part of that narrative, she found Los Angeles "like an alien planet" when she first went there. "I mean, I grew up in the countryside in a small town in England. It really is just like polar opposites."

If anything, working on The Bling Ring has only confirmed her sense that she belongs to a different world. "I think the film has scarred me slightly," she said. "I just see a designer bag and – I can't even carry one any more. It just weirds me out."

One Direction store to open in Tempe Marketplace

The boy band "One Direction" from London continues to gain popularity. Discovered during the British version of the X Factor back in 2010, they're now taking the U.S. by storm.

If you're looking for a true One Direction experience, Saturday is your chance. A store dedicated to the band and selling everything about the band opens in Tempe.

FOX 10 got a sneak peek inside "1D World." It's a pop-up store and it won't be here long.

"We just come in and surprise everybody, we open up for three or four weeks then close down and go to another city," says William Stone, 1D U.S. Project Manager.

So what's for sale? The store sells more than 125 items. Of course there are T-shirts and sweatshirts, jewelry, and phone covers.

There are even One Direction watches for sale, and plenty of other activities to have a good time.

"This is a little karaoke set up here, so kids can come in and sing their favorite songs and have a good time with it. And it's one of our features of the store."

There's even a British phone booth.

The only thing missing from this store is the band itself -- but life-size cut-outs are ready to greet the valley's biggest One Direction fans very excited.

The store is located at Tempe Marketplace between Gap Kids and Charming Charlie's. Doors open Saturday at 9 a.m. It will be open until June 9th.

Some long lines are expected.

Justin Bieber given midnight deadline to reclaim pet monkey - and will have to pay for animal shelter stay

Justin Bieber isn’t having the best time at the moment. The poor teen has split from on-off uber-gorge girlfriend Selena Gomez, had over £215,000 in takings stolen from a recent performance and now he’s got himself into some unwanted monkey trouble.

Mr Bieiber‘s rather odd choice of pet has landed the One Less Lonely Girl singer into a little bit of mischief to say the very least.

Mally the monkey, was taken from Justin by German customs in March when the 19-year-old singer failed to produce required vaccination and import papers after landing in Munich while on tour.

Bieber was immediately criticised by animal experts for taking the monkey away from his mother at such a young age just to keep as a pet. Experts say Justin should have left his furry friend with his mother until he was at least a year old and stressed the importance of Mally spending time with his monkey pals as he is a very “sociable animal”.

Mally, who has been spending time in a German Zoo, has also now not only got to get used to his new surroundings but he is now facing life without his superstar companion.

And although the Biebster has followed in the quirky footsteps of the late Michael Jackson with his latest possession, he's made the more responsible decision to leave the pet in more capable hands - yep JB has changed his mind on the cute monkey.

The shelter where Mally has been staying since the customs ordeal in March have been instructed by Justin’s management to keep 20 week old Mally in the zoo.

Currently on a break from his gruelling world tour schedule, Justin recently showed off his more sensitive side when he brought his mum on stage to serenade her in a special mothers day treat. But regardless of his sweet gesture, he has come under fire again from Heinz Joachim manager at the Munich based animal centre:

“The best thing would be not to buy one at all, but if you do, buy five.”

Poor Justin isn’t getting off lightly. Joachim wants the Bieb to cough up: “You can bet we’re going to ask for the money back” adding that the cost of food, care and vet visits at the Munich shelter amounted to "several thousand euros.”

As if all this wasn’t enough to trouble the young star, an overly-eager Belieber took his love for the singer to a whole new level.

The keen fan stormed on to the stage during Justin’s latest performance in Dubai. Running up behind Justin, he jumped on to the singer, sending the piano Justin was playing crashing to the ground before Justin and the fan tousled on the floor.

What a relief it was when the teen heart throb managed to break free and security raced to the scene and removed the over enthusiastic audience member.

Jeez, it seems the Biebster has a lot on his plate at the moment, so we don’t blame him for scheduling a month break before returning to his tour in June.

Other cynics have suggested that perhaps Chopard engineered the whole hoopla for some headline grabbing PR (Chopard has, in fact, confirmed the burglary but contests the local police's account, saying the items lost were worth less than $1 million).

The Hollywood Reporter took it straight to the source, opening an interview with Bling Ring star Emma Watson with: "You're not wearing any Chopard jewelry, are you?"

Watson laughed, saying she had only just been informed about the day's big news.

"Someone stole like a million pounds worth of Chopard jewelry from Cannes? I promise it wasn't me!," she insisted. "It's crazy. That's really, really weird... I promise I'm innocent! I promise I had nothing to do with it! I went nowhere near the suites -- I can have someone vouch for my whereabouts at the time of the robbery!"

The internet is robbing us of innocence, says Emma Watson: Actress blames social media for 'shortening' childhood

Actress Emma Watson has launched a scathing attack on social media, claiming it is responsible for young people losing their innocence.

The 23-year-old, who is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, said that teenagers are becoming more self-conscious at a younger age because of the pictures uploaded to social media sites.

Watson claimed this is ‘shortening’ their childhoods and the 'blissful' period when young girls aren't concerned about what they look like.

She said: ‘I think it’s amazing how self-aware people are becoming as a result of constantly posting images on Facebook and Instagram.

‘They’re blissfully unaware their childhoods are being shortened. That period of time when you’re not self-conscious is sped up.’

Watson made the comments at the Cannes launch of her new film The Bling Ring which portrays the impact of social media on young people.

Based on a true story, Watson plays a wealthy pole-dancing socialite jailed for robbery after her friends are caught out bragging about their crimes online.

The gang tracked stars such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan online and stole goods worth £2million.

Miss Watson revealed she watched ‘a lot of the Kardashians and Paris Hilton’ to prepare for the role.

Speaking alongside co-stars Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Taissa Farmiga and Claire Julien, she said: ‘I think technology is playing a really big part in a sense that everything has started moving so much quicker.

‘We are becoming saturated with images. They can embody whatever they [fans] project onto that image.

‘It’s very different; it has very little to do with reality.’

The film's director Sofia Coppola added that the film demonstrates how social media has transformed how young people view fame and that most will do anything to achieve notoriety.

She told the Daily Telegraph: 'The whole story seemed to say so much about our time and growing up with Facebook and Twitter. This could never had happened 10 years ago.

'I was thinking how these kids must be affected by all of that and how reality TV seems so normal now to all of them having grown up with it. The idea of no privacy has become the norm.'

Coppola originally read the true story which the film is based on in a magazine.

She added: 'I think their quotes really struck me; how they didn't seem to think they had done anything wrong, and how they were most interested in the fame the robberies had brought them.'

Miss Watson, who was just nine-years-old when she was cast as Hermione for the Harry Potter films, was the picture of classic Hollywood glamour.

She wore a backless floor-length black and white gown with a sweetheart neckline, and had pulled her hair up into an elegant chignon.

The star also appeared to be sporting a ‘helix piercing’ looking like three diamond ear cuffs on her left ear.

Korean rapper Psy rose to fame with his hit "Gangnam Style" in 2012 and proved he's here to stay with the release of his uber successful single "Gentleman" this year, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and garnered 70 million views in three days when the music video for the song premiered.

Psy's success has earned him six nominations for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards including Top New Artist, Top Streaming Artist and Top Rap Artist--and he is also set to present at the show.

And Cambio will be right there in Las Vegas with Psy and the rest of the nominees, live from the blue carpet with a video livestream on Sunday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by a backstage livestream at 8 ET.

Before Psy takes the stage at the BBMAs Sunday, he caught up with Billboard.com's Ray Rogers, for a quick Q&A, which they've shared with us below:

What was the highlight of your year in music?

PSY: It was really hard to pick just one scene because there were too many to remember. If I gotta choose one, I might say the American Music Awards. I closed the show and the closing of the show was a very big piece and another big piece was Hammer.

What song really made an impact on you this year?

I really like the P!nk song with the guy from fun., "Just Give Me a Reason." Last February I did a seven-city tour in Australia. I was in Melbourne after one show, and the weather was so hot. I was moving out of my hotel and the song was on the radio. The first time I heard it, that song healed me. That and the Bruno Mars song "If I Was Your Man," a very touching soul song for me.

What was your favorite music-related meme or viral video this year?

I've gotta talk about my new video, "Gentleman." It has a lot of likes and a lot of dislikes [on YouTube] at the same time-a lot of fans and a lot of haters. You can't make everybody feel inspired. Both sides should exist. But with "Gangnam Style," most of the country didn't have any haters with the video, with the music and with the dance moves. That was abnormal. So literally, I was used to an abnormal situation, and one day I considered the abnormal situation to be the normal situation. I was spoiled with all of the likes and fans. Then I released the "Gentleman" video and the first day, second day, third day everybody seemed to like the video. So the spoiled side of me was like, "OK, this one works." But on the fourth day, as is normal and understandable, given that it's a culture product, there were a lot of dislikes. So, now things are back to normal for me. And I really like this situation.

I was shocked with the "Harlem Shake," because at that time I was preparing a new single. Most artists feel the same way when they are preparing something, because they are not doing anything: "I'm down, I'm nothing, and I'm stuck." At the same time "Harlem Shake" came out and everyone did the "Harlem Shake" dance, every media outlet kept saying, "Goodbye 'Gangnam Style.' Hello 'Harlem Shake.'"

How has social media affected the way you engage with your fans?

I was not familiar with the internet thing. Honestly, you know with all kinds of internet media, I was not that familiar. I was not that kind of guy. Accidentally "Gangnam Style" happened and you have YouTube and all other sorts of stuff like Facebook and Twitter and so on. So after that I learned and learned. So after that I learned how to use Facebook, how to use Twitter and how to use YouTube and how to use all those platforms with each other. By this time I've realized like, wow this really is a big deal. This is another kind of a new show. I'm kind of a classic guy. I really play for old school songs, older songs and the platform and media. I was that kind of person.

How do you live like a high roller when you're in Las Vegas?

I want to live like a high roller, so why do I live life as a workaholic?

If you go down to the woods today – we’re guessing the last thing you’d be expecting to find would be the One Direction boys.

Well, if you live in Scandinavia and by chance took a midnight stroll last week – you may very well have found the boys huddled around a camp fire…

According to reports, the Little Things singers were dropped into the middle of some deep, dark woods last week to film some pretty hardcore scenes for their upcoming film, This Is Us.
Back to basics…

Following a gig in Sweden – the boys were thought to have been dropped off by a helicopter into the forest with only their cameramen to keep them company.

A source close to the stars explained how – although this does seem a little odd – the former X Factor contestants were desperate to give it a go!

“This was one of the last scenes left to be filmed for the boys’ movie so they really gave it their all.

“It’s a back-to-basics, extreme survival-type feature and the lads were all up for roughing it overnight. They were foraging for things to eat and even had to scrounge some bedding and sleep on the ground. It was a world away from the plush hotels they’ve become accustomed to.”

Speaking to the Mirror, the source went on to say how the boys, although not alone, were left to fend for themselves.

“They grew up watching shows like Bear’s Born Survivor and they all really wanted to try their hand at playing adventurer.

“Obviously, they weren’t entirely alone – there were a fair few crew members about. But it was a great chance for Liam, in particular, to dust off his old boy scout skills. He can make a fire with some twigs, no sweat.”

Taylor Swift's 'Red' Album Debuts On Rdio: Who Will Gain The Most?

Taylor Swift‘s latest album is now available on streaming service Rdio, but who stands to gain?

While it doesn’t take much for Swift to make headlines, it became a matter of great debate in the music press when her album was released last October, but withheld from all of the major streaming services including Spotify, Rdio and Rhapsody, reportedly due to Big Machine Records founder Scott Borchetta and his issues with the subscription model. This week, Red has finally become available to Rdio users, and while there has been an upsurge in plays, the response has so far been somewhat underwhelming.

Swift, who is nominated for an impressive 11 awards at the upcoming Billboard Music awards, broke sales records with the release of Red, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, and spending a total of seven weeks in the top spot. The album continues to appear on iTunes charts across the world, and has for all intents and purposes been an incredibly successful album for the young country and pop artist.

In the past month she saw an average of 87,000 plays on Rdio each week. In the two days following the streaming debut of Red, Swift saw about 43,000, which is close to half of that, but only a 74 percent increase from the two days prior. Compare this to a 123 percent increase for Justin Bieber in the two days after Believe Acoustic dropped, and a 352% increase for Carrie Underwood following Blown Away.

There could be several reasons for the relatively tame increase in plays for Swift. Red hit the market more than 6 months ago, and in addition there has been little promotion surrounding this event. Rdio, which launched in 2010, is currently available in more than 15 countries, boasts an on-demand catalogue of more than 20 million tracks, and recently announced an expansion of their collaboration with music identifier Shazam likely to help increase their user base, is the only U.S.-based streaming service that has Red on the books.

Given the timing, it can be argued that the streaming service stands more to gain from this release than the artist. Swift has already had a good run with Red, having sold the album to a big chunk of her massive fan base, and may or may not see a noticeable upsurge in interest. But now that Rdio is able to provide the latest music of an immensely popular artist to their subscribers, they have a leg up on competitive services.

Demi Lovato Got Comfy With Her 'Girl' Britney Spears

Not many people can say that they have become good friends with one of their idols, but if you're Demi Lovato, you can.

On last season of the "X Factor," Lovato found herself — to the envy of fans around the world — seated on the judges panel next to one of the biggest names in pop music: Britney Spears.

"That didn't suck at all, just saying," Lovato said during "Live From MTV."

The two hit it off, with Simon Cowell dubbing them the "gruesome twosome." But there were times that Lovato, who admitted the "X Factor" helped her get over personal fears, couldn't even believe that she could now call Spears a friend.

"I had moments where I was so comfortable with her because she is so down to earth," Lovato said. "I had moments where I'm like, 'That's my girl,' and I'm like, 'Oh shoot, that's Britney Spears!' "

Now that Spears has decided to end her judgeship and pursue a residency in Sin City, that doesn't mean their friendship ends there. The "Heart Attack" singer revealed that she will just "have to go see her in Vegas" in the fall.

Until then, Lovato is not only focused on promoting her recently released fourth album, Demi, but also on finding replacement "X Factor" judges for Spears and L.A. Reid, and time is about to run out.

"I am not going to say in this moment today," Lovato said when asked about possible replacement judges. "It's just me and Simon and I'm appreciative of that so whatever happens, happens. I think we are going to have to figure out who it is soon because there are auditions next week, but yeah you want to get it right and it will be really great. Me and Simon have talked, and I'm excited for what he is thinking."
