Executive producer Adam Horowitz tweeted the first page of the script first season yesterday, revealing that the first episode of the fall will be entitled "a tale of two sisters."

This, of course, is a reference to Elsa and Anna, the brothers and sisters of frozen foods that will reappear on the ABC hit next year and be portrayed by Georgina Haig and Elizabeth Lail, respectively.

Scott Michael Foster has also been cast as Kristoff, with Once Upon a Time season 4 dig deep into this animation Disney smash for future scenarios.

It is not known what kind of relationship Elsa and Anna will be when viewers their encounter, but the casting notes describe the first as someone who can only control his dangerous powers with the soothing influence of her sister.

ABC has yet to announce a date of return for its fall shows, but you can still watch it once was in line to catch up before official frozen presentations are made.

Jack and Kate foiled the Russians in 24: live another day season 1 episode 11 - but that was far from being the last battle that Jack realized that Chen was alive, well and plot to start a war.

Worse still, discovering that Mark Boudreau has put in place. Chairman Heller threatens to Mark for arrest on charges of treason, but Jack says he needs him and his Russian connection to track down Cheng. Unfortunately, this plan fails spectacularly when the Russia ends with death.

Jack and Audrey have a heart to heart, by phone, but later she ends up in the crosshairs of Cheng, as he takes his Chinese contact and his secret service detail.

Meanwhile, Chloe managed to escape Cheng, but ends up stranded in the Woods.

Lorraine Toussaint joins the cast of Forever

Lorraine Toussaint is about to be on the other side of the law.

The actress, who played on Orange is the new black season 2 as inmate Vee, that landed a regular gig in the series forever.

According to TV Line, Toussaint as lieutenant Joanna Reece on the upcoming ABC drama, a character described as a veteran of police who has "seen it all", and serves as a patron of Alana of Garza's detective Jo Martinez

Forever puts Ioan Gruffudd in the Dr. Henry Morgan, a medical examiner in New York... who is secretly immortal.

Garza plays the recently widowed homicide detective who takes advantage of Morgan insights to assist it in its investigations.

Forever will be broadcast every Tuesday at 10/9 c on ABC, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. follwing Marvel

Naya Rivera to reappear on Glee season 6

Another situation of cast of Glee has been clarified.

No, Chris Colfer is not leaving the show that made him famous. And is neither Naya Rivera.

We talked for weeks that the actress had been a feud with co-star Lea Michele, leading unless a role for Rivera on the Glee season 5 finale and no role at all for her on Glee season 6.

But several sources confirm now Rivera will help the musical say goodbye next year, but it will do as a recurring guest guest, not a regular series.

According to TV Line, Rivera requested the change of status for the sixth season and producers is consistent.

Fox is yet to announce a first date for the final term of the episodes of Glee, but expect the show to debut in 2015. at the beginning and a reduction in the number of payments over past air seasons.

In the meantime, you can always catch up when you watch Glee online.

Or maybe we should be directing this warning specifically at Jax Teller.

FX (courtesy of Entertainment Weekly) has released the first official teaser for sons of Anarchy season 7 - and it includes the President of SAMCRO out for an evening stroll.

Watch as her face fades to a skull and vice versa, prompting us to wonder if Jax is the great mower or if the Grim Reaper came for him this fall.

The promo is entitled "Hell Awaits," which seems to imply will get even worse things for Jax. It seems almost impossible to believe at the end of Sons of Anarchy season 6.

Hide the kitchen knives and prepare for the last season of Sons of Anarchy to rev up this month of September.

Murder in the first review: Finally

With all known foreign players canvas and absent for the most part, murder in the first season 1 Episode 5 hit a high for the series rating.

"Pants on fire" was a well paced hour that provided concrete answers and powered the case and the story forward. A suspect was marked off the coast of the list, while Erich Blunt has demonstrated his innocence through a lie detector test.

Who killed Cindy Strauss? The field reduced, but the culprit is still unknown.

The only part of the episode that I did not enjoy was the awkwardness between Hildy and Terry on their Kiss at the end of the murder in season 1 Episode 4. The interactions between the police partners were well written and acted, but I can not on the fact that the kiss happened at all. It felt not acquired and another unnecessary aspect of the show.

For Terry stand up and sing 'Finally' and get all emotional over Hildy felt bad. His wife has just died. Shouldn't it be mourning his death yet? Why is it going into his partner and swooning over their awkward romantic connection? I do not understand, but at least the other side stories been put on hold for the time being.

Erich civil lawyer, David Hertzberg, did an amazing job out Erich bail. He has manipulated the system to obtain a more favorable judge and used it to his advantage. The Court scene was not reminiscent of The Good Wife with his fumbling, papers, recognizing his lack of experience and play for an audience. It worked. Erich received bail.

As expected, Warren Daniels did not stay away long. Plea of Erich Daniels has been sincere and without doubt one of the most honest moments that we saw starting the billionaire playboy. He appeared genuine in his innocence and desire to do it right this time. Erich has learned its lesson, now, it will be a question of whether or not he can temper his impulses.

It has well managed the lie-detector test and even though it was clunky and the easy throughout the of the it, he kept his composure. He succeeded! I do not think that Erich killed Cindy. Well, I guess it's more accurate to say, I really hope that it doesn't have. If he is the killer, the series is better to have a very good explanation for how Erich could appear as innocent.

Erich is a troubled man, but really, it does not act as a murderer. Of course, it could be a psychopath and able to hide its real actions and intentions. He showed signs of that by fixing on Hilty and appear on his doorstep. She'll push him into dangerous territory? Perhaps.

I really hope that the show will not in the direction of Erich be disturbed. I still like Wilkerson as Cindy murderer. He obtained an advantage that would explain how he had killed her. His wife filing for divorce should be a red flag for the police and bring him in their investigation. It is less likely to cover for him, now that she knows about his relationship with Cindy. With the husband of Cindy erased, it is time to move to another suspect. It's his turn.

"Pants on fire" was my favorite episode so far. He had tensions and even a little humor, while answering the questions and advance the case. The show was better without the additional cases as Hildy shooting or enter the home of the character life. Who killed Cindy Strauss? It is yet to be determined, but the race has been initiated.

Murder in the first: watch season 1 Episode 5 online

Erich Blunt gets bail after some wonderful manoeuvring by his civilian lawyer on the murder in season 1 Episode 5.

Despite a winning performance by Hertzberg in and out of court, Erich needs a real criminal defense lawyer for his trial, then it goes back to Warren Daniels. It takes $10 million and a detector of falsehood, but Daniels test comes back on board.

Erich can be charged with murder of Cindy, but the police are obliged to investigate the husband of Cindy when they learn their may be evidence of his involvement there. It is certainly not a case opened and closed against Erich.

"Pants on fire" is an episode stretched over the case of Cindy Strauss, but there are also several clashes and funny moments as well.

Who Broke Today’s Live Streaming Record, YouTube or Akamai?

Today was the day that Felix Baumgartner set several records for ascending to 128,000 feet in a balloon capsule and jumping to earth 4 minutes and 20 seconds later. An epic day of achievements for Red Bull Stratos for sure.

YouTube is also claiming a new record of serving up more than 8 million concurrent live streams for the “most concurrent views ever on YouTube.” Also amazing to be sure. The previous record for this achievement goes to Akamai for serving up close to 7 million concurrents during Barack Obama’s Presidential Inauguration in 2009.

What’s interesting about this is that Akamai also served up a good chunk, if not all, of the live streams for today’s event. What a lot of people don’t know is that YouTube often relies on Akamai’s large footprint live CDN to handle big events. It’s not uncommon for live stream services to off-load capacity to third-party networks if an event is bigger than their own network can handle. YouTube has stellar capacity for the on-demand videos we all love, but when it comes to live events, they often extend their reach by using Akamai’s live streaming network services.

This begs the question, if Akamai served up all of YouTube’s live requests for today’s record breaking event, did Akamai just break their own record from 2009?

Traditionally, NAB is known to be a trade show for all things in broadcasting. This meant, in the old days, radio and TV. Nowadays, Internet broadcasting is a big part of it. I'll post updates in the next few days on what I find interesting that relates to my world, which is filming and video streaming live on the Internet. And the DRONES, because, well, DRONES! I’ve been in LA for Streaming Media West the last couple of days, checking out what’s new in the world of live streaming. This morning’s panel session Best Practices for Planning Your Live Streaming Event was a good overview on what to think about when planning to live stream your event. Here’s my notes.

Q: What did Ustream and Livestream do during Hurricane Sally?

Jeff V: We set up an event on Livestream. We combined user feeds. 2 million streams to all Sally content

Alden: Ustream combined national news feeds w/user feeds. Lots of viewers. Giants World Series post-win mayhem was interesting to watch.

Q: What are things you need to ask of clients before doing a planned event?

Adam: Find out what clients expectations are. Do they just care about numbers of tweets vs viewers? Location, location, location makes a big difference on what can be done.

Howard: What is the expected the production value? PERFORM does lots of downstream broadcasts of satellite feeds. Logistics as well.

Alden: Is this content that should be live vs on-demand? Is this the right event for live? Lots of aspects to live. Workflow, promotional structures need to be put in place.

Jon: Tuning into a 3-minute event probably isn’t best to do live. Just getting people to show up in time is hard.

Howard: Sports and news are best for live.

Jeff: What is the goal of the live stream? Pre-production is everything. Once live is there it has be to perfect. Only one shot to do it. Timing is important, need 2 to 4 weeks to plan things out right. Livestream has gone to event pages now, rather than channel pages. Allows us to extend campaign, mix in photos and updates.

Adam: Fashion industry also. Gucci saved money not having to fly in execs from Milan to NYC.

Q: How do you deal with producing a live event from a place with crappy Internet?

Alden: Ustream broadcasters age from home internet to fiber, satellite to dedicated bandwidth. Bundled cellular stuff is popular. It’s really good, we like it a like. We use LiveU. News and sports attract a lot of people so challenge can be that cellular networks are overloaded in those areas due to number of people present.

Jon: We’ve used bonded cellular solutions. Testing a week beforehand before people show up isn’t a good test. CES is an example.

Alden: We drove here from SF with a LiveU, didn’t lose our stream down the I-5 at all.

Adam: Test from the viewer locations is important. You don’t want customers congesting their own network while trying to watch the stream. You don’t want a surprise doing a live stream.

Howard: Old-school satellite is rock-solid, tried and true tech, works everywhere. Expensive.

Jeff: We all expect TV. Challenge is in the transmission business. 99% of importance is the encoding/uploading on the ground. Always recommend a dedicated connection on the ground.

Point-to-point internet, we can get that working in many places in the US. If budget allows, satellite. We use All Mobile Video. We are fiber-linked from the switch to our New York HQ as well.

Alden: Buy more time than you need for satellite. Recent example, Apple product announcement event went over time and got cut off right in middle of announcement. Was watching the feed and it switched immediately to bars and tones with satellite provisioning information slate.

Q: What bandwidth do you need typically?

Alden: Rule of thumb 2x what you want to stream. Really hard to say sometimes. Is it shared connection? ISPs throttle people. Might be 20Mbs all day then 400k for a few minutes.

Jeff: 2x is about right. We can do up to 4 bitrates in our player. Make sure you stream in lower-quality too.

Howard: 2-5Mbs is what we normally do.

Q: How do you make a webcast look like TV?

Adam: Work with professionals, people who have done this before. Work with broadcast directors, work with people who have broadcast industry experience. We’re working on a new climate reality project we are doing with Ustream. We have the director from the Red Bull Stratos event with us on that.

Cameras have gotten cheaper. Technology is out there that helps to make it look like a million bucks. Graphics is important, other content that can be cut in. Proper lighting, audio. Good graphics go along way.

Jeff: Most interesting is that people creating content exclusively for the web. Our Livestream Sessions in NYC – bands come in and do a live show with fans interacting with them. Kids today want to interact in real time.

Alden: It’s not TV. You have the luxury of extra time. You do want to turn on early so people can tune in and get ready. Don’t just put up a slate. Use video clips. Use a dynamic shot, maybe a wide shot of venue, slightly blurred.

Adam: Two-way conversations is key. People want to participate.

Jon: At our event, we have a GoPro to let people see behind the scenes.

Q: Sometimes the before is more important than the during?

Jeff: Live blogging element of Livestream platform lets fans socialize before event goes live. Can happen weeks before event. Add pix, videos, comments. Cool way to add content prior to event to build hype,fan interaction. Create highlights live to add VOD clips. After event, it’s all about analytics. All clients want that.

Howard: Our ultimate case study. Our live content goes our on betting sites prior to going live. People are betting prior which builds interest. Filipino Basketball is one of our biggest events. Tons of betting. Tennis as well.

Adam: Post-production is important. We did a 3-minute sizzle reel for Macy’s, over a million views.

Alden: Get VOD up as quick as possible. Right after is when it’s still hot, people still showing up.

Howard: Our stuff has to be up straight away. Adds logistical challenges.

JON: Let’s take some questions from the audience.

Audience Q: Do you use portable satellites?

Howard: We use almost exclusively. One camera + satellite.

Audience Q: What can we do before end around the player, with the player?

Alden: Social stream is big for us. Talent can request tweets.

Audience Q: What is your take on a simulated live event?

Howard: We do some of those. We will do a full match replay at a certain time broadcast as live.

Jeff: Our preference is always live content. Good social experience around a live event.

Audience Q: How do you deal with an event that went horribly wrong?

Jeff: Most common is Internet connection problems at the encoder. We had a concert where Internet was fine for 3 hours leading up. When it came to event time, it died.

Alden: We did an event with American Idol. Building lost power. Took a long time to get powered back up. Internet was down, but We had a LiveU cellular pack on-hand.

Howard: Lots of logistical things… audio track switching. Power failure, weather.

Jon: One user complaining might not be accurate. Validate that it isn’t just a single user problem.

Adam: Make sure a backup plan is in place. Backup plan with audio, video and Internet.

Audience Q: What about insurance for problems?

Adam: Buy production insurance. Find out what are they trying to insure against. Is it for the production or media side?

NewTek TriCaster 8000 to NAB 2013

NewTek TriCaster is the gold standard current for a broadcast video mixer portable, live with all the bells and whistles that might require a live production. I use a TriCaster 455 and 855 for many events and produce really have few complaints.

The relatively new TriCaster 8000 (retail $ 40 000) develops on the sets of features from previous models of Newtek. As the 855, the 8000 can simultaneously manage eight HD - SDI video sources and save each ISO separately. The 8000 develops their virtual sets, transitions, animations, media players, and integration of live streaming.

I asked a rep of Newtek, what is his favorite of the 8000 feature and his response was the integration of social media. You can apparently make quick clips of video or still images and push Facebook, YouTube and Twitter all from the TriCaster control interface. I guess that if you're a lean operation and you have a guy doing everything, then I suppose it has meaning. According to my experience, everyone who is to lead and to a live event, will have its hands full of everything.

While Streaming Media West last week, I checked a few new offerings of streaming live Livestream and Ustream. This post focuses on Livesteam, I'll discuss the new features of Ustream then.

Livestream has evolved considerably over the past years. Originally known as Mogulus, Livestream renamed itself in 2009 to their current, more memorable name. Earlier this year, the Livestream took another step in evolution with the release of what he calls the new Livestream. The big difference between the old (or original) and novelty is the development went from the concept of pages 'channel' in what they call 'events' pages. Pages of the canal were similar to TV channels, a producer may deliver any number of events over time on the same channel. Even if we can create several channel pages, many producers would set up a channel and call it a day.

The new event Livestream page switches focus to a particular regular event. The idea being, each event has its own URL that lives as archive once that the completed event. Event pages are also much more dynamic than the pages of canal in what producers and viewers can send text, photos and videos updates than flow to the bottom of the page in a familiar format of timeline. The main video event, whether live or archived, still lives at the top.

Another excellent feature that you will find with new Livestream, DVR functionality is built directly into the direct drive. Pricing has also changed with new Livestream. Is no longer broadcasting without advertising is based on the number of Viewer hours. You can now use the new totally free Livestream, without ads inserted into your content and for unlimited amounts of time in HD. It's a pretty sweet deal. Anyone who has ever watched any amount of streaming knows how annoying and irrelevant video pre-roll and mid-roll ad ads are. Warning with free, your viewers are required to register with Livestream (also free) before watching. For $49 / month they do away with this requirement, as well as give you unlimited archiving and Google Analytics integration. For $399 / month, you can embed your channel event on your own site. This may seem steep, but it is not out of proportion to what was once old Livestream cost without advertising of viewing with a viewer hour Cap 3000. No maximum limit number of viewers on the Livestream again.

The other nice to subject the new Livestream thing is a seamless integration with their product diffuser Livestream. This iconic feature of camera-top red, created in partnership with Teradek, allows a producer to encode and broadcast directly on their event page without needing a computer. If you make a single camera shooting with a HDMI compatible camera, this is a pretty sweet to go way. The broadcaster may broadcast via ethernet, wifi or a single 4G cellular modem. Just select the profile of bitrate you want on the menu of the user interface, and you're ready to go.

The most recent and probably coolest thing Livestream that has added to their aresenal is the Livestream Studio HD500 production switcher. If you have already used a Newtek TriCaster before, you will be familiar with what this box. It is essentially a portable device, five SDI input, HD, digital mixer and encoder. It is placed to compete nicely with Newtek TriCaster 450. The material of the HD500 is your base Intel Quad Core i7 processor based machine Windows 7 with a video capture card Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad and LCD screen built into a luggable design. It does most of what you would expect from a Tricaster; transitions, DVR playback, stills, titles, lower thirds and assignable audio sources. The piece of coding and streaming is managed by integrated Procaster software of the Livestream, with the support of Multi-bitrate streams.

Max Haot, CEO of Livestream, told me that they would be releasing a single version of the HD500 to the first quarter of 2013. I asked Max that is the impetus for this and he replied that they wanted to do this enter into as many hands as possible. At annual NAB Show this year in Las Vegas, there's lot to be enthusiastic in the world of live broadcasting over the Internet.

Livestream, live Internet platform streaming, had quite a large footprint this year to show their new products. Livestream is best known for its live streaming service, but is more a complete professional broadcast-to-end solution. This means the implementation of a package of new video beautifully designed switching and hardware encoding this year.

Livestream has introduced new models of their live production switcher Livestream Studio. When the Studio was introduced last year, the Studio HD500 came out as one on laptop plug-and-play switcher/encoder. It was followed by only one version of the software that anyone can operate on their own standard reference of PC hardware with capture cards.

For 2014, Livestream has expanded its line with HD51, surround and models of HD1710 Studio. All models are multi-channel HD live production mixers that squarely address Newtek Tricaster. The HD51 and surround can take up to five sources HD - SDI or HDMI with the surround with a touch screen in its portable form factor. The HD51 and more expansive HD1710, require external monitors. The HD1710 can take a whopping 17 video sources HD - SDI, all can be shown on four screens of multiple and switched live views. All templates for multiple channels of ISO recording format AVI MJPEG. Not the best if your workflow is editing in Final Cut Pro 7, but many fine if you use Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X. A Livestream rep got supports Quicktime format will materialise.

The new impressive hardware does not stop there. Inspired by the Department of industrial design of Apple, Livestream has introduced a new hardware control surface simply called Surface. This control surface offers an intuitive and customizable interface to all controls of the Studio software interface. Livestream Studio combined with the Surface appears to be a formidable contender line Newtek Tricaster. Such as multiple titles, downstream overlay, graphic overlays and outputs of the program are all native Studio. One thing I'd like to see better supported expanded audio input connections. Livestream mixers have one or two mini jacks 1/8? for audio, or audio should be embedded on the HDMI and HD - SDI inputs. The HD500 and HD1710 specifications claim they can take up to four 1/4? analog audio inputs RTS, although it seems that you need to have a nest of snakes cable breakout to withdraw this as these models using the Blackmagic Design DeckLink Studio acquisition card for this. TriCaster has the advantage here, because analog XLR and TRS audio input connections are natively mounted material through their line.

Another feature standout for Studio is the ability to mix in a variety of sources of the camera remotely. Smartphones running Livestream, Teradek and diffuser of the encoders of top wireless and even Google Glass are all supported live sources.

The kickoff of the Inaugural Meetup of SF Bay Area broadcasters on the Web and Live panels

I started a Meetup Group for dissemination on the Web and live panels in the San Francisco Bay area. We will have our first meetup event this Tuesday, June 4, at 19 check the page for the Meetup event for more details. This is the first of what I intend to be a monthly series. Each meetup will have two or three presenters covering the entire range of the live broadcast.

For this first time, I'll do a quick slide show of my experiences for the production of events for Ustream and Eddie.com. Bram Cohen, the creator of BitTorrent, will also give a detailed presentation of BitTorrent Live, his latest creation. BitTorrent Live is a new-to-peer live streaming protocol that relies on connections from peers across major live Internet broadcasts, potentially save broadcasters a ton of money in distribution costs, while maintaining high reliability.

Since there is a meetup on streaming, we will of course disseminate the meetup. We will push to Ustream and Live of BitTorrent. I'll post info here or in the Group channel, come back or just get off and join in the fun!

Deconstruction of deconstruction

The end of last week, I participated in a call for pretty cool projects the deconstruction, an idea original of creative collaborist Jason Naumoff.

What is deconstruction? It is a game about rethinking the world as we know it, take apart, make some adjustments, then put it back together a little awesomer-er. It's a lighthearted competition, but it's really more than a collaboration on a large scale between friends, participants and the public. The concept is to make the world a little better, more fun and more interesting place more than 48 hours.

Yes, this is an ambitious large order, but we pulled it off with the help of over 60 participating teams on six continents. The winners have not yet which will be announced officially, even if only one lucky team will walk away with a full range laser cutter.

My role in the deconstruction was to establish infrastructure to stream live and production. As for the project of creation of Red Bull I helped Jason to last year, this was to be a distributed happening. Each participating team was encouraged to live stream their creations builds and update their team page on the official website of deconstruction.

We setup an attaché at the studios of Synergize live here in San Francisco. Alan, who heads the space, a large part of the streaming infrastructure was already in place. Several camera with a green screen studio, live mixers video, encoders, monitors and much decent bandwidth.

The plan was to have guests here on the plateau to communicate often with different members of the team from across the world throughout the 48 hours challenge. To do this, we need to make a variety of technologies work well together. In the mix on the side of video were Skype, Facetime, Google + Hangouts, Justin.tv, Ustream, Livestream, black magic, Wirecast and Resolume Avenue.

We have several Mac mini that would serve as media hubs to communicate directly with remote teams on Skype and Facetime. According to our experiences with the creation of Red Bull, we knew what we had to do to make this work. We took the HDMI output of the Mac mn and fed in a live video mixer (a PC tower with several black fashion magic video capture cards Resolume Avenue) and did a little magic mix-less on the incoming and outgoing audio feeds. This has enabled our producers to make 'calls' the remote team members and then bring in live, so the local hosts can communicate with them on the virtual game. It is similar to what you see on a newscast when anchors communicate with journalists to distance in the field, but without the expensive satellite trucks.

Remote teams could use any platform live stream they wanted, if were encouraged to use Justin.tv if they don't already have an account somewhere. We made this choice because it is easy to install and distribute for free. Although free means Justin.tv annoying ads pre-roll inserts and mid-roll (like Ustream) we managed to avoid seeing them by paying $10 for a Justin.tv Pro account. Ustream allows also to remove paid ads, but the side diffuser to many more expenses. It gave us a way to economically host team RSS and cut us to them without having to worry about ads bloom a broadcast medium.

We used "new Livestream» of the Livestream produced for the main stream that we embarked on the first page of the deconstruction site." It worked pretty well, even if we were not satisfied with their based text chat system. While the new Livestream chat text looks good and is attached to the player, there is no way to integrate without chrome page additional event. In addition, their text chat requires a user create a Livestream account and it censorship links automatically, that sucks.

We intend to make use of Google + Hangouts and Hangouts on Air as our primary means of communicating with remote teams, but we met several roadblocks. The main problem being that Hangouts would not recognize our capture card in the direct encoder. Meeting places is really designed to work with a webcam and does not give you much control on input options. A second problem is that if you press a meeting place for Hangouts on Air, which is basically a stream of YouTube, there is no persistent URL. In addition, Hangouts are limited to 4 hours. We have worked with our friends at Google to try to make this work for us, but the product is not ready for the type of event, we wanted to remove. Let's get back on Google + Hangouts next time.

All told, we ripped a global success of decentralized pleasure, several participant event live using an assortment of technologies disperate. Take a look at some of the final videos of that people built during these 48 hours.

Sony Anycast touch all-in-one mixer video Live, recorder, encoder, and Streamer to NAB 2013

In the production live all-in-one switcher and streamer category comes the Sony Anycast Touch. This seems to be a convenient portable solution, especially if you have already invested in the Sony PTZ.

What is unique about this guy is that he is the touch screen. Everything is focused on two shots by selecting and elements on the primary multi-view of touch screen or touch screen small secondary "settings".

Anycast Touch can take up to six HD (HD - SDI 4, 2 HDMI) inputs. HDMI inputs can be substituted for source computer VGA RGB inputs. It can also take 4 separate XLR audio sources or 1/4 TRS.

The Touch has CG titration of capabilities, graphic overlay layers, transitions and the ability to create templates with these elements and the picture-in-picture camera.

Probably the most conclusive, if you already have motorized PTZ robocams, is that touch their command. You can create scenes that lock is positioned behind closed doors to easy dynamic switching.

At a cost of retail under $20 k, this unit will probably challenge Newtek TriCaster in some key markets such as schools, churches, corporate communications and amateur sports.

YouTube Live threshold lowered to 100 subscribers

It's a bit of good news for those looking to live stream economically advertising (free) an event without annoying pre-roll or overlay. YouTube, which has experimented with live in different stages since 2008, has lowered the threshold to use their YouTube Live streaming service. From Friday, holders of an account YouTube needs only to have 100 subscribers to their channel and be in good and due form to use the new features live streaming. If you can not get 100 subscribers, then you should be probably just let Internet.
