Author: Gigi Silk. As a bit of a fan of globetrotting, I have spent many hours researching, downloading and configuring the best apps for while you are away. With many lucky Aussies about to head off to Europe for the northern hemisphere summer, I thought now is no better time to share my favourites.

Author: Kate McKenzie. Over the last two weeks I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in the inaugural Appiness Hackathon. The event matches app designers and entrepreneurs to a number of charities to develop mobile apps the charities can use (see my colleague Gerd Schenkel’s blog from last month for more details).

Author: Katie Lio. It’s hard to believe that the MOG music streaming service has been in Australia for a year. It’s been a long year for the BPM & MOG team, from the mad dash to launch date to ensure everything was working as it should, the star studded RocKwiz launch that was broadcast live on T-Box, to the wacky idea of playing MOG to fruit to see if the juice was tastier. Just quietly, MOG juice is definitely the best juice this blogger has ever tasted!

Author: Brendon Riley. Earlier this month we received information from concerned residents about the way asbestos was being handled as part of work being carried out in one of our pits in Penrith. As soon as we received the information we sent our team out to the pit to inspect the site and as a result immediately suspended the contractor from further work and safely secured the area. We also re-visited all sites remediated by this contractor to make sure the removal of asbestos was conducted in the appropriate way.
