The name is lovely, and the place is nifty, but there’s not much chance of visiting it soon. It’s located on Enceladus, one of Saturn’s 66 known moons. While Enceladus has been familiar to us since it was first spotted in 1789, the discovery of its ocean, courtesy of the venerable Cassini spacecraft, is a whole new and possibly game-changing thing.

Enceladus has always been thought of as one of the more remarkable members of Saturn’s marble bag of satellites. For one thing, it’s dazzlingly bright. The percentage of sunlight that a body in the solar system reflects back is known as its albedo, and it’s determined mostly by the color of the body’s ground cover. For all the silvery brilliance of a full moon on a cloudless night, the albedo of our own drab satellite is a muddy 12%, owing mostly to the gray dust that covers it. The albedo of Enceladus, on the other hand, approaches a mirror-like 100%.

Such a high percentage likely means the surface is covered with ice crystals — and, what’s more, that those crystals get regularly replenished. Consider how grubby and gray a fresh snowfall becomes after just a couple of days of splashing road slush and tromping people. Now imagine how a moon would look after a few billion years of cosmic bombardment by incoming meteors.

When the Voyager probes barnstormed Enceladus in 1982, they found that the moon is indeed covered in ice and being constantly repaved. Vast valleys and basins were filled with fresh, white cosmic snow. Craters were cut clean in half, with one side remaining visible and the other covered over. Most remarkably, Enceladus orbits within Saturn’s E ring — the widest of the planet’s bands — and just behind the moon is a visible bulge in the ring, the result of the sparkly exhaust from ice volcanoes that trails Enceladus like smoke from a steamship. It’s that cryovolcanism that’s responsible for the regular repaving.

The 5 most compelling features of men are some masculine qualities that women around the world accepted as extremely attractive, and not only talk about abdomens of type “chocolate bar”.

1. Its odor
Have you ever wondered why you like so much curl under his armpit? Well this is the answer (roughly). According to research conducted by the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia, women are attracted by the smell of the armpit of a man because the sweat that emanates from this complex contains an odorless pheromone compound that affect us unconsciously. Charles Wysocki, a neuroscientist at the center, explains that “women penetrate by the smell of the armpits because the biological data it contains helps them choose a partner. Most women even better perceive male body odor the female body. “ Interesting!

2. His body language
Whether his demeanor, the way that inadvertently runs a hand through his hair, or simply their way of walking, women are pre-programmed to notice. According to Linda Blair, clinical psychologist and author of “Straight Talking” (Straight Talk), “it took only seven seconds to judge another person when we first meet.” For us, a man who walks upright and feel at ease with itself, resulting in a confident man, which is an extremely attractive feature. Judi James, author of “The Body Languge Bible” (The Body Language Bible), “judge other people after a few seconds of meeting is part of our survival response. Mainly we see if we should feel threatened, but we are also several assumptions about attraction and personality. “

3. His form
While not necessarily looking for a handsome and muscular guy, there’s something primal about our attraction to fitness. Regardless of whether or not the gym, that is in shape and take care of your appearance is something that tells us that their health and wellness among their priorities, which is a massive excitation source. Especially when we have sex. In general, most women also have a predisposition to prefer someone more physique that they, with broader shoulders and greater height. This is possibly a residual feature of our time living in caves, when looking at men as protectors and as hunter-gatherers.

4. His sense of humor
A recent study by Northumbria University found that women use humor as a sign of intelligence in a man, which somehow explains the enormous popularity of “good sense of humor” as a requirement in the profiles of many women enrolled in webs of meetings. “Intelligence is a very attractive quality as a clever man is usually more able to provide resources to their offspring,” says Kristofor McCarty, who led the study. But kids know that although we like a man make us laugh, a ruthless intelligence that mocks others or that we denigrate or humiliate us, not at all attractive.

5. His ambitious vein
We are attracted to men with ambition to succeed for many reasons. First, it shows there is something you are passionate and although that might not be something you (yet), is a sign that could be compromised. A great work ethic demonstrates a sense of responsibility, another positive sign when choosing a partner for life. The ambition reveals that someone is putting you win. It shows that not content with going out with friends to bars and aspires to something else: the desire to get what he wants and to improve their lives. There is not one woman on earth who does not feel attracted to this.

Here we are 15 good reasons to approach the season of cocktails and cookies with healthy aplomb.

1. The last three pounds you triumphantly lose will go completely unnoticed by everyone else.

2. Sneaking a bag of sliced celery sticks into a movie theater is as pointless as the $8 box of Sugar Daddies you will buy halfway through the movie.

3. When a “friend” caresses your upper arm and says “You’d be gorgeous if you just toned this up,” you will look him up on Facebook ten years later and find that he died alone.

4. We are living in a glorious age where leggings paired with a flowing shirt are fashionable.

5. The law of nature gives women periods. Periods give us cravings. Cravings give us Tater Tots. This is the law of nature.

6. If a burger comes with a side salad, is it really a burger? (See above: The Law of Nature.)

7. After a certain age, your face looks thin despite a muffin top around your waist.

8. Fretting over your muffin top will just make you want to bake muffins.

9. The more weight you gain, the bigger your breasts. Money once spent on push-up bras can be redirected towards organic donuts. Donuts made of buttermilk, organic cane sugar, and ripened strawberries which melt in your mouth.

10. If your significant other is male, accept the fact that he will likely eat three times as much as you and still retain a flat stomach.

11. If you find yourself hiding the last of the Thanksgiving potatoes from your significant other, no one will judge you.

12. A cupcake will not kill you. However, falling off your spin bike because you were distracted by visions of cupcakes just might.

13. In some circles, abstaining from once-a-year delicacies such as eggnog means you hate children, Santa, and the Baby Jesus.

14. If we could harness all the energy we spend worrying over a few extra pounds, we would have the ultimate renewable energy source. Seriously.

15. Pop culture says we are all too skinny or too fat. Common sense says we are all beautiful. Suck it, pop culture. Suck it.

It might seem tempting, but sleeping until noon on Saturday will only disrupt your biological clock and cause more sleep problems. Going to bed at the same time every night–even on weekends–helps set your internal sleep-wake clock and reduces the amount of tossing and turning required to fall asleep.

Researchers in Northwestern University’s Department of Neurobiology and Physiology reported that sedentary adults who got aerobic exercise four times a week improved their sleep quality from poor to good. These former couch potatoes also reported fewer depressive symptoms, more vitality, and less sleepiness in the daytime. Be sure to wrap up your workout several hours before bedtime so that you’re not too revved-up to get a good night’s sleep.

Change Your Diet

Cut out the food and drinks that contain caffeine–coffee, tea, soft drinks, and chocolate–by late afternoon. Make dinner your lightest meal and finish it a few hours before bedtime. Skip the spicy or heavy foods that can keep you awake with heartburn or indigestion.

Don’t Smoke

A study found that smokers are four times more likely not to feel as well-rested after a night’s sleep than nonsmokers. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine attribute this to the stimulative effect of nicotine and the nighttime withdrawal from it. Smoking also exacerbates sleep apnea and other breathing disorders which make it difficult to get restful sleep.

No matter how advanced our society and technology is, we can not forget our origins. Sometimes we need something green surrounding us. Of course, the best idea is to spend some time in the field, but is not always possible, so all that remains is probably bringing a little nature to your home instead.

Let’s take a look at some great creative green ideas.

1. Grass Car

2. Table With Removable Planter

Emily Wettstein uses reclaimed walnut and steel to craft this beautifully organic table. (link)

3. The Garden Furniture

The Garden Furniture project came about through an interest in making sculpture that uses both permanent and ephemeral materials, altering a static piece of furniture by covering it in living, growing grass. (Designer: Kevin Hunt)

4. Grow Up Cup

A cup with a grassy bottom. (Designer: Jinsik Kim )

5. Living Moss Bath Mat

Constructed of a decay-resistant foam called plastazote, this bath mat is a nursery for three varieties of living moss: ball mass, island moss and forest moss. The humidity of the bathroom and the drops flowing from the body, water the mosses. Great feeling to your feet are guaranteed! (Designer: Nguyen La Chanh)

6. One Pot, Two Lives

A planter and a fishtank joined together. (Designers: Sheng-Zhe Feng and Ling-Yuan Chou )

7. Growing Chair

Now you can sit on your favorite tree! The chair resides on a rolling planter with willow trees growing from each leg. Russian vine wraps around the willow branches for a full greenery effect. (Designer: Michel Bussien)

8. Knuckles

9. Growing Jewelry

The collection of this hand jewelry is designed for people in metropolitan cities and is an experiment in drawing nature toward man, as nature being the presupposition of life. (Designer: Hafsteinn Juliusson)

This rather elegant new age umbrella stand uses rainwater from your umbrella to feed thirsty grass and adds a fun spot of green to your foyer. (Designer: Simon Enever)

12. Business Card

14. A Wearable Planter

The study was presented by glaciologist and CECs researcher Andrés Rivera, who focused his investigation on changes in the glacier between February 2010 and January 2011. Using a series of 1,445 photos taken throughout this period, scientists found that the glacier shrank roughly 82 feet each day, receding more than half a mile in the course of the year.
