Of the nineteen homes that are Under Contract;

• 5 were Under Contract in less than 30 days = 26%
• 9 were Under Contract in less than 60 days =  47%
• 16 were Under Contract in less than 90 days = 84%

As can be seen from the chart below ( click the photo to enlarge) and, regardless of the price category, homes that are  strategically priced write contracts fast and  in as little as 10 to 30 days. This may be an indication that the market has become more balanced and is no longer a distinctive buyer’s market .

Some of the properties to go under contract fast are valued over $1 Million whereas  some of the proeprties to be on the market for over 150 days are valued under $1 Million .

Fight Poverty Daceathon At Temple Sinai in Tenafly

Teens will descend on Temple Sinai of Bergen County in Tenafly for Party 2FIGHT Poverty, a peer run Dance-A-Thon to raise funds for the needy in northern NJ on Saturday, May 19 at 8 pm. The event is open to all 7th & 8th graders regardless of religion or institutional affiliation.

Unlike former Yahoo CEOs Scott Thompson and Carol Bartz, both of whom had no ad experience before taking the top job, Mr. Levinsohn is a veteran of the ad world, having forged strong alliances with executives at Madison Avenue agencies that represent the biggest ad spenders.

Mr. Levinsohn who graduated Tenafly High School in 1981 must deal with Yahoo’s weak revenue growth and threats from technology rivals such as Facebook Inc. and Google Inc. Yahoo’s ad-sales business also faces competition from numerous media websites such as Walt Disney Co.-owned ESPN.com and Hulu LLC, which is owned by several companies including News Corp., owner of The Wall Street Journal.

Memorial Day Picnic - May 28 - Armenian Church , E. Clinton Ave, Tenafly

With the summer just around the corner Tenafly is gearing up for some fun  outdoor events. The first event to come around is a one day picnic to be held at the Armenian Church May 28 on the corner of East Clinton Avenue and 9W.  The picnic will feature, fun for kids, Mediterranean food and a Mercedes 300c raffle.

Following that  is the 42nd Taste of Greece Festival that will last from May 31 through June 3rd At the Greek Church on 353 East Clinton Avenue featuring Greek food, music, fun for kids and of course the traditional raffle for a BMW car. 

On June 3rd the traditional 5K run and dog walk will take place at Tenafly Middle School on 10 Sunset Lane. All proceeds of this wonderful event will benefit the Tenafly Educational Foundation ( TEF) which is a private  non-profit organization  raising money to fund discretionary grants for Tenafly educators.
