Yeah, obviously the accent on the oh, that means you just emphasize it. So this this is brand new they&#8217;re out of Las Vegas apparently. Look at the bubbles on that thing. I</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>don&#8217;t know if you&#8217;ve got bubbles like Mike</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>likes grew you know how I love bubbles.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>I love those bubbles. It&#8217;s so brand new that we have very little information on it there Do we have an Instagram which is where we found them and reached out to them and we&#8217;re getting in touch with the owner I think they he&#8217;ll be in a future profiles and a guy whose spirits the who&#8217;s who books that we come up with. So I&#8217;m kind of anxious to try this out. Because you know, I&#8217;m gonna go on and live right now as a brand promise nominee and the packaging, I gotta say. Very elegant, very nice. Yes, very nice. And but it&#8217;s heavy. It&#8217;s a substantial bottle. So, as usual, we&#8217;re going to pour the juice tasted and it will give you all the status stories in the ins and outs. We just broke the seal off of this Gosh, off camera a little bit ago. Yeah. Whoa. I&#8217;m going to use Glencairn. I think I think you&#8217;re using your Glencairn. Wait till we tell you where it&#8217;s coming from folks. Yeah. Geez.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>So what 1545 1545</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>That distillery just by name alone. We&#8217;ve had several several tequilas from that. That distillery it&#8217;s a Sienna companhia and Hotel California comes out of there. Kya 23 Octeon which I&#8217;ve never been able to get Pocky Paki. Paki. And then I say kya 23. That&#8217;s that&#8217;s another one that that is coming out of there. Oh, and custom Mexico, which was a brand new promise nominee and a winner. So yes, yes. So expect a little bit of quality out of this tequila gamut</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>nice pearls.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>it is. It is nice. It was nice and shiny. Wow. Nice legs. Yes, you</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>folks can see that on my glass. Yeah, you can. I mean, I if I hold this up, you kind of lose the legs and tears because I guess my lighting is sufficient today.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Oh, look at that, man. They&#8217;re nice.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I have a lingering bubble. You don&#8217;t have I have several. Oh, I&#8217;m jealous. You</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>seem to see that.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I have three. Yeah, I&#8217;ve got one. The reason we make we make a big deal out of that, folks is that bubbles. They don&#8217;t necessarily denote quality but it&#8217;s a really good sign. And it&#8217;s rare that you see bubbles in a tequila most often you&#8217;ll see them in the scars at a higher proof. In fact, that&#8217;s probably how the my SMS guy that&#8217;ll actually grades the the ballpark of the of the ABV. He&#8217;ll get it to within a degree just by just by the bubbles. So it&#8217;s always a good sign in my opinion.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Wow, I still have that bubble. I have one that</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>What are you getting</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>some Brian Enos. Yeah,</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>but there&#8217;s a depth in there that I can&#8217;t pin down it almost smells like a carmelize the Godhead like like It&#8217;s like Bert. Or, or smoke. Yeah. A little bit and it&#8217;s almost, you know if you didn&#8217;t know what you were sensing, you think it was chemical but it&#8217;s not it isn&#8217;t and somewhere in the center than what Chris says I don&#8217;t normally use a blog. I don&#8217;t normally use a Glencairn for the Broncos although although I have in the past but not recently. And so it behaves a little bit differently than then out of a out of a hereto</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Okay, yeah, this this I live</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Oh, there&#8217;s another good one. I&#8217;ll buy that. I&#8217;ll buy all of them. brininess Yeah, yeah, I&#8217;ll buy that. Yeah, and like at the bottom, the center at the bottom but first of all, I&#8217;m Harley Harley. No alcohol but at the center of the bottom I&#8217;m I&#8217;m getting a I&#8217;m getting a just as a touch of aniss Not a lot it&#8217;s almost it&#8217;s very faint.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah</p><p>Mike Morales &nbsp;</p><p>I think maybe it needs to open up a little bit.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, maybe maybe that&#8217;s it</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>those legs and tears are beautiful. Wow,</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>man. I&#8217;m not getting that normal citrusy. Yeah, no, not from not from this one.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>But there is some kind of sweetness to it like an anus or a mint</p><p>even even, it might even be like an orange blossom.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Oh, you know what? I just got that. That meant</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, it&#8217;s it&#8217;s a flowery you know. Somewhere between herbaceous and flowery, but it&#8217;s really herbal. Yeah. And I think you&#8217;re right the brininess in the tools like psycho well yeah, like an olive oil</p><p>there&#8217;s a lot of depth though. It&#8217;s heavy instead of heavy to kill. It doesn&#8217;t have that. It doesn&#8217;t have that bright. You know, knows that that you and I are used to, you know, like for Highlands tequilas will have that bright you know the lime and all that that we normally Yes. Yeah, and then if you if you wait for it, you get that little bit and hospice right in the center.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>And you get a little I&#8217;m getting a little pepper now. Okay, carnival or white pepper.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, and I get more of that. brininess though it&#8217;s a it&#8217;s a mixture. It&#8217;s yeah, it&#8217;s like sweet and briny. Sweet. Okay, yeah. It&#8217;s light. So I can&#8217;t say that it&#8217;s clashing. But but they&#8217;re trying to they&#8217;re they&#8217;re trying to gain your attention</p><p>while you&#8217;re at ready to dive in, cuz Yes, yes. Yeah, we&#8217;re here all day. We&#8217;re smelling this thing here we go wow</p><p>why&#8217;d you first?</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>That that lit up my palate? Oh, the spiciness? Yeah. And there&#8217;s a there&#8217;s a touch of sweetness in there.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, there&#8217;s a sweetness in there that I thought was overly sweet, but then it just died. Because, you know, keep an eye. We&#8217;ve had we&#8217;ve had some poorly done tequilas with additives in it. This distillery is not known to use them. So I won&#8217;t go I won&#8217;t say that. But it evolved. And And wow, what a finish.</p><p>Skip Falconer &nbsp;</p><p>Yes. Yeah, it&#8217;s gone. thermos is it&#8217;s warming up Yeah, I still get the spiciness</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>yeah that sweetness was just on the intake once once it got past right the beginning and it just the pepper explosion and I got that little bit of anus in the rear of my sides of my tongue to the rear of the of the palate and then a long finish but it was a bit confusing it&#8217;s still I&#8217;m gonna have to go in there again because I that first pass was was tricky it was it was tricky</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>yeah and the nose didn&#8217;t really quite gel with the with the tastes</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, I was expecting more of that olive oil brininess you know like yes, yes, it wasn&#8217;t there.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>That pepper is buzzing is there though it&#8217;s still there. Yeah, yeah</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I&#8217;m gonna try one more here we go.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, me too I got</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I got some fiber SNESs there&#8217;s a density on the on the pallet. That to me when I was doing the retro nasal that&#8217;s what you hear me doing click when it sounds like I&#8217;m clearing my throat. And it it gave me like a fibrous like a like I got it paper kind of kind of sent or or retro nasal which which I only detect and perceive in MS calls. The Scala Soto&#8217;s RHIC is where they ferment with the fibers. I&#8217;m not sure what they&#8217;re doing with this. Most tequilas don&#8217;t ferment with fibers or you know, they don&#8217;t they just don&#8217;t let me see what the information is that I&#8217;ll reach in the press release.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, cuz I got none. Yeah, this is brand new here.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Okay, it&#8217;s a flagship though some Blonko reposado and Anita Hill, we only got to Blonko multi brand beverage startup Romero brands releases three new boutique tequila as they&#8217;re out of Las Vegas 100% Blue Agave from the highlands of Jalisco and created from a thirst of for authenticity and transcendence. I get the I get the vanilla now.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Is that what is that what we&#8217;re getting? Proceed? I&#8217;m getting the vanilla now. Why would it have the MILA but I&#8217;m getting it now. It&#8217;s opening up a little bit more now that we&#8217;ve had a couple of passes. Yeah. But it&#8217;s It&#8217;s a cross between vanilla and that orange</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>that that?</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I you know, I&#8217;m not a fan of that. But I&#8217;m going to I&#8217;m going to give the benefit of the doubt here because it&#8217;s coming out of the house. Yeah. And that can&#8217;t be Janya. The farm in San Jose de Gracia. Which that area also mixed on Pilar. That&#8217;s where Dopler grows his Agave in that in that same town as a matter of fact. Does. I know that they do they do Mozart? No, not all distillery,</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>not just distillery not least what type of use are they you use?</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Die? Let me see. I don&#8217;t know. I&#8217;m just reading off what they&#8217;re worth and what they sent us. Let&#8217;s see. Okay, we&#8217;re the first crop of telephone tequila or whatever. And then and then the sweetness is finally you know what, now that we&#8217;ve gone through a couple passes, and I have my glass and now it&#8217;s sweeter on the bottom.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yes. And you know what I got on that last pass. I got Anis</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Well, I got that, like at the very back of my palette on the first pass this week.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>I got it on my second pass.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Okay. The sweetness was a little confusing. I wasn&#8217;t sure what that was. I didn&#8217;t. I didn&#8217;t like you said I didn&#8217;t expect to have the sweetness come up. When when you were getting the brininess and in the olive. I thought maybe we&#8217;ll get a little bit more gamey you know, but that&#8217;s not what happened</p><p>well, there&#8217;s, there&#8217;s some substances structure in that mid palate. It&#8217;s heavy it&#8217;s dense you know if</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>if you leave it there I liked the pepper. I like that spiciness of this tequila</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>receipt and I like the denseness there&#8217;s that paper, agave fiber SNESs and it&#8217;s all it&#8217;s all at the mid palate. Yeah, you know and then and then yeah, I do get that Yanis but that&#8217;s usually at the rear. Yeah, this guy is spectacular finish Wow. It does. And can we get past this knows though this this really the nose?</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>The nose is confusing. It&#8217;s it&#8217;s nice. It&#8217;s a nice finish for me.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, it&#8217;s, well it&#8217;s a substantial tequila. It is really, there&#8217;s, there&#8217;s a great structure to it. It&#8217;s, it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s beefy, right right in the center. There&#8217;s there&#8217;s that fibrous myths that I get. Back I say I&#8217;ve only had it&#8217;s not as pronounced as it is with a miss dolls and the soap dolls. But it&#8217;s there and it&#8217;s it&#8217;s unusual and it&#8217;s Akela to get this this much denseness for me, so, you know, small batch small field. Probably old old plants too, you know? Yeah. I&#8217;ve I&#8217;ve</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>even the retro nasal is very pleasant. That fiber system the retro nasal and I get oh hell man. I gotta pour another one just just for kicks and giggles man because Okay, okay, okay, I was surprised I really was because it&#8217;s just it&#8217;s it&#8217;s behaving so differently and you know, I love the bubbles. There&#8217;s got lingering bubbles like a Moscato Yeah. I mean, you know, I wish I knew more about the process and you know, if they&#8217;re, if they&#8217;re fermenting in wood that&#8217;s because I&#8217;m not sure if if the if the distillery has wood backs or stainless steel like you said, I&#8217;m not sure if they&#8217;re using champagne yeast All I know is I&#8217;ve had lots of quality two kilos coming out of that distillery including Viva Mexico just recently for 2021 and I got to put this right up there man it&#8217;s just</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>yeah, the nose the nose is the nose is really really confusing.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah you know, because I&#8217;m sensing like I say I started sensing the orange blossom a little bit. And then and then when the first port we did get that brininess at that all of thing and then the sweetness wasn&#8217;t as prominent until it started open up.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Tell us just open up and now when I did this, the second pour is gone back to the brininess Yeah,</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>it&#8217;s like the sweetness is is is drowned out by the bride</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>there is no sweetness there&#8217;s there&#8217;s there spiciness there spicing this</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>but you know, we&#8217;re we&#8217;re skip was saying that it was like a brightness. I was getting more of a like a burnt caramel. You know, like, like, if they&#8217;re using the brick ovens, you know that wouldn&#8217;t be unusual right? You know Alright, I&#8217;m gonna let&#8217;s just see how it runs you know cuz this could be I had no way what I know what this distillery it&#8217;s got to be all natural as can&#8217;t there they just do not. They don&#8217;t use the additives. So this is this can&#8217;t be you know, if it&#8217;s fermenting and wouldn&#8217;t vats? I would I would, you know, I would say or maybe if they&#8217;re resting it you know maybe there&#8217;s putting it in a barrel for like, you know, lunar rested for like five days or something, right. That&#8217;s not what they&#8217;re saying. Because look at how bright and shiny</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, it&#8217;s not this doesn&#8217;t look like it&#8217;s been rested</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>now. And they would say that, but then again, sometimes the people that write the copy don&#8217;t really understand what the process is.</p><p>Goddamnit finish is good</p><p>Well, I&#8217;ll tell you why. You can get past the nose if the nose kind of makes you suspicious. Just swallow and just put it just all the characters at the at the mid palate for me. Yeah, everything. Yeah. Because this somebody didn&#8217;t even go in that suite like it did on the first pass. It didn&#8217;t. It did it. No, that first pass. It was it was sweet. And it was a loose kind</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>of swim. Yeah, and you know, I, I appreciate sweet. Yeah, but in the Blonko No,</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>you know, that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m saying this is unusual. But once you once you intake it. Um, the second on the second refill. Okay, the second pour. It&#8217;s all of it the the retro nasal the beef Enos, you know, the fiber SNESs that I&#8217;m detecting? Or maybe, you know, a skip put it the brightness, the olive oil kind of thing. Yeah.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>And, you know, on the second pass, I didn&#8217;t even get that. i The majority of it is the spiciness. For me, it&#8217;s, it&#8217;s really it&#8217;s</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>yeah, it&#8217;s a tasty Blonko Yeah, and I&#8217;d like spice. Yeah, yeah. Because it&#8217;s, uh, you know, the sometimes the older the plant is, the more the, the spicier it, you know, the peppery it gets. Oh, you know what, I&#8217;d like to taste this. as it ages. I&#8217;d like to see what what it does is a repple silo and what it does is it on yellow, if the spiciness converts into like cinnamon spice, so it gets hot, you know, from the barrel. Be nice to see how this how this evolves? Yeah.</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah. It really would. I&#8217;m thinking it would be delicious. Okay. Cocktail worthy. I would put it in like a margarita.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I think it was stand up to a bleh Maria. Also, because of the Pelham Enos. Oh, okay. Yeah, that mid palate though. It&#8217;s substantial. It&#8217;s really got that that really? That Agave punch to it? Yeah. What a finished? Yeah,</p><p>Skip Falconer&nbsp;</p><p>I would, I would. I would sip this.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, I would too. And I think having just done a tasting with Bryce a little a little bit ago, I asked Bryce, we think with this going on, in our ranch water. And they go Yeah, you know, little Topo Chico and, and a thing of ice and, you know, maybe opened up a little bit more to be refreshing, but this is denser. And that&#8217;s why I say maybe it&#8217;d be better as a food pair. You know? Yeah. With meats and cheeses or something because this is this mid palate. It&#8217;s got it&#8217;s got great character. But you know, that&#8217;s, that&#8217;s it. Unless you folks are getting it somewhere in Vegas. Let us know what you&#8217;re doing with it. Because I want to know more. I&#8217;m gonna I&#8217;m gonna we&#8217;re gonna have them. Like I said, in a future edition of a who&#8217;s who that guy was spirits. But that&#8217;s our take on town soon. Tequila. This is a block all is all we got. And we&#8217;re hoping to get the rest of the lines. I really would like to get more of it. Right. I just got it today right before we came on online. And I have to I have to show it off because it&#8217;s beautifully done. Very well done anyway. I might just post that on Instagram like everybody else has. Today, Rick and I have a wonderful chance to taste and dissect this. So far. We fell in love with the repple silo. This is tattoo to Kima and this is the annual it is organic. Organic certified. Oh check that out with that.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>red accents on the metal medallion that&#8217;s embedded in the woods stopper.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yep. We just broke the seal off of these. They&#8217;ve been sitting on my living room floor for like weeks, probably a couple of months. Because when we got this delivered to us it was after our cut off for for our 2021 brands with promise. So I</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>mind spin sitting on a shelf for three months. Yeah, I just took the plastic</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>off. Yeah, we just had to dust this off. So you know, you know, we were</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>we were blown away by the organic Repko that comes out of 14 ad which always seems to dazzle us. And you know, it&#8217;s right there in a mighty time. And they produce a lot of organics. And they&#8217;re just they&#8217;re just firing on all cylinders, man, they&#8217;re doing everything right. I just got Oh, you opened it and smelled it? Yeah, I&#8217;m gonna melt I really think I&#8217;m gonna stick my nose in here because just the ripple I was getting those warm tingles down my spine like, like I had just returned home after being away for 10 years. It was that kind of comfort.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Well, you know, to be fair, Rick&#8217;s been on the bench. He&#8217;s had some remodeling and his home. And this is February when we&#8217;re recording this and you&#8217;re probably won&#8217;t see it till April. You know, I haven&#8217;t I really haven&#8217;t spoken to Rick since like before the holidays.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>I think I may have done my last tasting in October. Yeah,</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>yeah. Something like that. And I think it was cabal which also ironically, or coincidentally come comes out of 1480 So we&#8217;re thankfully</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Mike tends to have all the 1480s Come to me. Yes guys. Although being on the bench I missed one or two. Did you find it?</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, you know what? There&#8217;s plenty for there&#8217;s enough for everybody. That&#8217;s why we have we have we have a tasting team a tasting squad. I&#8217;m always so grateful to you guys. Oh come to the island. Yeah, I know that all everybody smiles everybody&#8217;s fine. Nobody nobody&#8217;s gonna kiss it represents you in a fantasy your fantasy island person Okay, again, I&#8217;m I&#8217;m shocked looking.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Oh my god.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I Yeah. See? Am I the only one I first of all we the Reconciler. We have no idea where I don&#8217;t have any information. The deck that they sent us did not tell us how long it&#8217;s been rested.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>That is so light. Now such a white.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>And so we know that as it&#8217;s</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>like a Carlos Camarena barrel type</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>comedy in a barrel life. Yeah, Felipe</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Camarena. You know, it&#8217;s just so light. It in the Repco we had these amazing layers of barrel notes in addition to the agave. I&#8217;m wondering, you know if if it&#8217;s gonna like color, I&#8217;m expecting incredible barrel notes in this in Yamo. But with such a light color, maybe we&#8217;ll still get a lot of that that Agave forward character with them. Yeah,</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>well, you know, I read the information from their from their marketing deck on the repple silo and they did say that last testimonial.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>I need a moment to myself.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Shall we shall we?</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Let&#8217;s pause so I can have a moment alone with this.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Well, we had to pause it when you choke the other day. He&#8217;s gonna melt I&#8217;m gonna have to pause the camera again, folks. I&#8217;m sorry. Rick gets really emotional. You know when he when he when he</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>never is Have a visceral reaction to tequilas. Oh, and this is</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>a good one. Oh my god. I know what that combination of the wood notes is. And the agave but you know what it is it&#8217;s sometimes you and I from tequila swirl mighty time we get that liquid that anus and bloco that&#8217;s what that what&#8217;s in here. It&#8217;s blending in with the with notes. And it&#8217;s coming up like it&#8217;s this lovely combination of anise and wood notes. And it&#8217;s creating something different. It&#8217;s like a whole other aroma. I I can&#8217;t place</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, no, you&#8217;re absolutely right. Oh, yeah, that Ns is just doing amazing stuff with a with a other barrel nuts.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Oh, my goodness. I don&#8217;t know how long this is being aged.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Incredible. I&#8217;m getting dried fruits in here.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, it&#8217;s got a bit more depth more almost reacts, like it&#8217;s been resting in the barrel much longer than it actually looks. You know, to be an unusual one to three years. So this could be you know, 24 months? It could be I don&#8217;t know, I don&#8217;t know. We know it&#8217;s over a year, because it&#8217;s fairly light. I mean, if you don&#8217;t believe us, I mean, look at look at how like this. Yeah. That&#8217;s, that&#8217;s almost as light as the reposado. And yet, we know character.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>And we&#8217;ve had repose more than twice as darkness.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Oh, yeah. Yeah, you know, years back, right. Because, you know, we&#8217;re, we&#8217;re still, we&#8217;re still, you know, on the downhill slope of a pandemic, there&#8217;s still an annual shortage. A lot of people said that there was going to that was going to go into the Reconciler category. We found out last year that some of the trends that we saw was that they were doing wonderful things with rebel silos, making them almost blending barrels and making you know, blending them with extra and yellows and giving the reposado way more character to emulate and yeah, hope because nobody had an idea who was in some mode a lot of distilleries did not have a reserve of on yellows because people people drank in 2020 people drank really well because he couldn&#8217;t and now we&#8217;re feeling that that effect as well but this however long they&#8217;re resting it it&#8217;s perfect Shall we dive in sir oh please okay so oh my god oh oh. Residual Anis on the back end of the pallet along with the witness at the top wow, I want to Blonko we can get a blood LiveCode MAN Yeah, they only sent us a report on the whole we didn&#8217;t get a Blonko so I&#8217;ve got a bone to pick with</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>the pepper spice and anus together.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah. Great. And I didn&#8217;t detect any Anacin follow it was was really barrel forward. You know, we got Agave on the nose of course, of course. Because there&#8217;s nothing I don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re they&#8217;re using anything less than six year old god is and if you follow them on Instagram, take a look at lesson Medicus or anybody else that has or just has them as their distillery they have five year old a goddess that are enormous, enormous. Okay, and that&#8217;s unheard of. There&#8217;s very few growers that can grow them like that. Okay. But this one the the the</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>well they have a they have a knock of arrow that goes out to alien and whisper sweet nothings into the pink tennis right?</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>I&#8217;m telling you they they whatever the it&#8217;s this is it&#8217;s it&#8217;s very it&#8217;s it&#8217;s black magic what they&#8217;re doing</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>with those Agave is know that their love to their 14 at</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>huh oh, this is a symphony. Sweet whiskey notes. Long, long finish. Yeah. It keeps evolving and your glass repple solid did the same thing. Folks, if you don&#8217;t spend time with this tequila, you&#8217;re you&#8217;re you&#8217;re doing your yourself a disservice.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>I had to go back and check out the repo.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>You didn&#8217;t detect any anesthesia on that? Rep. Well, I didn&#8217;t. I didn&#8217;t not not to the depth that I&#8217;m getting here,</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>right. Yeah, well, this comes across well, not as sweet as the Ripa was, you know, with those barrel notes, okay. So we&#8217;re a bit drier, the, the</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>sweetness is different.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>It&#8217;s more like the dried fruit kind of thing. Whereas with the reposado because getting those kind of creamy buttery butterscotch kind of</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>notes. Yeah, yeah, the depth on this nose and the flavor. There&#8217;s this is there&#8217;s depth. It really is more complex than boulder. I think at first intake just you know, and I think also the white pepper and the barrel notes I think they also create that little bit of the summit cinnamon heat at mid palate, but it&#8217;s not it&#8217;s not overpowering. He&#8217;s just kind of it&#8217;s it&#8217;s how shall I say it? Because we&#8217;ve had we&#8217;ve had some hot cinnamon you know from from barrel notes that were the pepper turns into hot cinnamon because it&#8217;s been Ah, this one is a nice play on both you get the pepper and the sentiment together. It&#8217;s not one doesn&#8217;t overpower the other. And that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m trying to say. Wow, that&#8217;s just gorgeous. What a nose on this thing. Yeah, huh. Oh my goodness. Hmm. Lot of engineers. Oh my god. Wow. Wow. Yeah. Random promised nominee. And that organic and yellow category. This is do we have a price point on this thing?</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>I don&#8217;t, I haven&#8217;t been able to find it anywhere. I wonder in in San Diego Old Town tequila has the Bronco for 40.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>So you think this is probably a 60 $65? Bottle?</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>That&#8217;s probably where I&#8217;d start.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Yeah, yeah. And worth every penny. I wouldn&#8217;t hesitate to to pay that much for this quality. This is a quality tequila. All right. Yeah, it&#8217;s been around. I will say it&#8217;s a legacy brand. Because I know for a fact it&#8217;s been around for at least eight years. I told the story on the ripple solid review where they when I reached out to them like eight years ago. They sent me all the tchotchkes you know, a salt river shot, I shot glass shot glasses, t shirt bar mat, all the really cool stuff that never got the juice. I kept looking. I kept pulling out all the all the tchotchkes out of the box and go where the hell is that juice, no juice, nothing. And then and then when I tried to reach back to the person Mark contact person, email boughs, so I couldn&#8217;t get ahold of anybody. And I&#8217;m gonna chase and I&#8217;m gonna chasing this down ever since.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>Well, good on. You&#8217;re forgetting a man.</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>Highly, highly underrated, highly underrated. If you found this, folks pick it up. It&#8217;s a gem. It&#8217;s a habit. Yeah. Grab it grab all you can. I will I hopefully, I&#8217;ll be able to get the CEO that calls himself tequila, John. I can&#8217;t offhand I can&#8217;t remember his first name. I didn&#8217;t pull up his email when he when he reached out to me. But I will. And I will I will try to get him on open bar. And maybe Rick, you can sit in on that with me like you do with Juan De Leon. Open bar has been going crazy. People love the I&#8217;ve had some wonderful, great conversations on open bar. really memorable.</p><p>Rick Levy&nbsp;</p><p>As it&#8217;s fantastic to hear the stories directly from the makers. Yeah, you can&#8217;t you</p><p>Mike Morales&nbsp;</p><p>can&#8217;t you can&#8217;t beat that. No, no, I mean, and who else is letting you tell your story? You know, this, that&#8217;s what open bar was about. It was about you know, it always been about nobody can tell your story better than you can. And that&#8217;s and I&#8217;m gonna I&#8217;m gonna find tequila, John is it even exists anymore. And it&#8217;s not the reality show on I never, you know, I almost had one.
