TERA Titles

New Title Location!

2015-06-29T14:35:00.000-07:00

Probably in part due to the initial difficulty of finding where to go to change your title in TERA, they've changed it. It is now located in your character screen, shortcut P. This makes it much easier to swap titles and view new ones. You can still view Titles relative to their Achievements on the achievement screen, shortcut V, and see which ones you want to work towards and how to get them, as well as a reminder of how you got the ones you have so far.

I just made a post to the TERA forum about inventory management.

It's been so long that it took me quite awhile to find where my screenshots folder is!

I ended up finding it in a windows.old folder under Program Files (x86)>TERA>Client>S1Game>Screenshots.

Titles are displayed for your benefit, even though it would have looked better had they not been visible.

Here you go!

This is one of my favorite shots. It's Drakynix casting Fireblast while wearing the Fiery Halo and Bandit's Mask, and using Mister Patches.

This is Drakynix riding the Nightmare.

Drakynix riding Sleipnir.

An even lower level alt, Valaina.Fainauriel riding Sleipnir.

[Vengeful] Sucker.Punch.

This is the achievement menu and shows the titles I have available on this character.

These achievements and titles are rewards from zone quests.

And that's it for now!

Anniversary Update

2013-05-24T09:31:00.002-07:00

I started playing TERA again last night, after yet another sabbatical. I don't know what it is about this game - it's like I love it but I can't fully get into it and leveling is SUCH a grind. I thought I might give this anniversary event a shot and see if I am both lucky and willing to grind for that incredibly weird yet somewhat awesome mount, Gourmando. The HP restoring aspect of it is pretty awesome, too.
Speaking of mounts, I was able to get my sparkly frost pegasus last night. Apparently, as a founder I was awarded some EMP (the new store currency) and it was *just enough* to purchase the account-wide version of Sleipnir, who I have wanted since he was released. Speaking of EMP, it's worth noting that this Saturday you get double the amount of EMP you purchase.
Maybe I'll update with some pictures of my "Hellraiser" in her flaming halo (and also on her new sparkle pony).

Update

2013-04-09T22:25:00.000-07:00

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been working on a non-profit/business that has been taking up most of my time, and I hadn't realized how many readers I've had here!

I'll do my best to keep this updated and add some more info soon!

If you choose "Next" when Google-ing "TERA titles" it shows a TERA Codex search result that may just be the compilation we've all been seeking: http://teracodex.com/achievement

Formatting

2012-08-12T11:44:00.000-07:00

As may be apparent to any readers I may have, I am experiencing some problems with formatting the background picture on my blog. When I choose "Do not tile" and "Center bottom" the bottom of my image is "reflected" (?) back onto the top of the blog... Perhaps more research will lead me to a solution but until then I apologize for the appearance.

Category: Battle and Duels

2012-08-11T09:51:00.001-07:00

In TERA's achievement menu, which you can access by hitting V on your keyboard, there are several different options on the left side for different categories of achievements.

The Battle and Duel category consists of the following achievements:

Firecely Competitive: Participated in 1,000 duels. “Duelist”

Strategic Edge: Won 10 duels. “Mostly Harmless”

Competitive Edge: Won 100 duels. “Dangerous”

Matchmaker: Particpated in 1,000 deathmatches. “Contender”

Team Titan: Won 1,000 deathmatches. “Prizefighter”

Emerged Victorious: Won duels versus all classes. “Victor”

There should also be two class-specific titles, which will be listed separately.

Hellraiser Title

2012-08-11T09:23:00.002-07:00

Yesterday I achieved the "Hell Rises Up" sorcerer-only achievement which grants the title "Hellraiser."

The criteria is to use "Fireblast" 500 times, so I'm rather proud that I've done this on a level 34 in a period of two days.

This is, in my opinion, one of the coolest titles out there. Another sorcerer-only title is "Hasty" which is a reward from the "Faster! Faster!" achievement which requires one to use "Burst of Celerity" 300 times.

(As you can see in the picture below.)

Choosing a Title

2012-08-09T12:35:00.001-07:00

To view your achievements and titles within TERA, the default setting of the North America edition is to hit the letter V on your keyboard. This allows you to choose a title and view all of the achievements available to you. While leveling on the Island of Dawn you'll pick up 3 titles to start with.

Selecting or changing your title is as simple as clicking in the box. If you wish to display your Guild Title instead (chosen by your Guild Leader and view-able from the guild menu (G)) simply deselect a title, leaving no boxes checked. Your Guild Title is your default title, so if you never choose one, you may still be displaying one to others. To see what your title, or others', looks like, you can change your interface settings. To do this: hit O for Options and select Game (which should be the automatically selected choice). The very first set of options is "Show names". You can select "on me," "on other players," and "Enable titles" to view your own and others' titles and to determine which look you like best.

Introduction

2012-08-09T12:30:00.000-07:00

The intent of this blog is to list TERA titles, their associated achievements, and where/how to get them. Feel free to offer help if you can, as I am only one person. I'm creating this blog after looking for guides online and finding nothing. I haven't even found any partial lists. I'll try to include screenshots, as well.
