Bryan and I will be doing the great strides charity walk this Saturday in Santa Monica in honor of our friend Harley Konner, who is such an inspiration by the way she lives her life...never letting CF stop her from living each day to the fullest. One day she's surfing, the next she's jumping out of a plane, rock climbing or doing something random every chance she gets. I hope to live my life to the fullest like she does!

If you want to be a part of helping to find a cure, here's the info below! If you can donate even a buck to my fundraising goal, that would be awesome!

Vitamin Water National Commercial (Casting by People Farm & ME!)

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Thu, 28 Mar 2013 04:41:00 +0000

I just wanted to share with you my favorite project I've been a part of since starting a casting career in Los Angeles in 2005.

I loved casting these "REAL PEOPLE" for this commercial...It was the biggest and most well-pulled off prank in my history of "hidden camera" television casting projects! (The kids in this commercial were told that they would be flying to Arizona after auditioning to be an audience "extra" for a live performance taping from a band/artist that I "didn't have details about just yet" but I told them to "trust me" and that it was a casting call for something really fun & cool to add to their resumes. After interviewing and auditioning for over 100 college-aged kids & a few weeks of behind the scenes casting work for this "audience member live event casting call".....the people featured on the plane are REAL PEOPLE who honestly thought they had been picked to fly to a concert taping and be an "EXTRA"....little did they know they were chosen to be in a NATIONAL COMMERCIAL for a HUGE company!

Thank you for trusting me as your casting director - I hope you are blessed every time this commercial airs and congrats on getting your SAG credentials...sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time....and if you choose to "just show up" and see what doors God opens for you....you will be BLESSED!

I truly loved each "kid" who I worked with getting them to this "undercover hidden camera" project...and I hope they are all happy to find out they were part of a commercial that aired tonight during AMERICAN IDOL and a major NBA basketball game!

I'm so blessed to have been a part of this & I have to give a shout out to Nick Chiodini of People Farm Casting... #farmingfresh #teampeoplefarm

If you are looking to cast REAL PEOPLE for anything...team people farm has it in the bag!!
Congrats to People Farm & Smuggler for helping make this commercial happen & pull this HUGE prank off! And thanks to the artists B.o.B. and DJ Skeeter for giving their time, energy and talent to this project! The fans on the place were shocked!

And at the end of the day....this is why I love that God has made me a Casting Guru! I do love what I do! #BORINGTOBRILLIANT

Amazon Outreach "Wells4Hope"

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Sat, 23 Mar 2013 22:34:00 +0000

My sister works for Amazon Outreach, a non-profit, interdenominational mission organization formed to support Brazilian churches and other organized ministries in spreading the gospel message of Jesus Christ throughout the Amazon River Basin. They have partnered with indigenous churches in Brazil that are seeking unreached people in villages along the river (in some of the 33.000 unreached villages along the river who have never heard the Gospel).

Among the many ways to get involved with Amazon Outreach, the "Water Wells" ministry touched my heart when I saw this video the other day.....the best part is toward the end of this clip.

You will see excited little kids lining up one by one to take their first sip of fresh, clean water from the water well provided by Amazon Outreach and those were a part of making this happen by giving the gift time, energy, love, fundraising and gifts of a donation.

For more information on how you may be able to support the drilling of water wells, check out Amazon Outreach's Water Well Ministry Wells4Hope.

Keep up the great work, sis! I'm proud to say you are my loving, smart, tender hearted and wonderful sister who does the hard job of accounting for this organization, among other things!

You are blessing so many lives through your time, energy and work with AO! I'm so proud of you and all you've been a part of!

London..I'm in Love!

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Wed, 20 Mar 2013 21:31:00 +0000

Bryan and I just returned from our first trip to London!

We spent a few days singing in the rain, dining on fish and chips, posing and taking pictures with Royal guards, "getting lost" walking around London while stumbling on famous sites such as the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, stopping at a local pub to hang with local chaps in Piccadilly Circus, visiting Shakespeare's globe, riding in black cabs with drivers who call you "darling" in a cute accent, walking across the Tower Bridge, strolling around Trafalgar Square, stopping by Winston Churchill's War Rooms, shopping at Harrods and sipping campaign on the top floor of Harvey Nichols...and so many more fun adventures!

Neither of us had ever been there before so naturally that was our next destination and adventure to check off our bucket list!

After we visited London, we flew over to one of our favorite destinations...you guessed it..Switzerland! We spent a lovely week hanging out with my family all around Geneva, Bern, Rolle, Gland, Bursinel and other picture perfect Swiss areas. Stay tuned to my next post about the rest of our week relaxing, hiking, sightseeing, shopping & living the Suisse life!

Here are a few fav photos from our London visit! (Photos taken by the amazing photographer, Bryan Mason!)

Big Ben

Where should we wonder to next?

London Eye at night!

Changing of the Guards...my favorite!

Tower Bridge

I. Love. London.

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Thu, 06 Dec 2012 01:04:00 +0000

WOW! ....I can't believe you are turning 21!

I still remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. I was in the third grade and got a call to go to the principles office because I had a phone call...I answered the phone to hear dad say, "Teresa...you have a little brother! His name is Michael."

I had just become a big sister! I ran back to my class room and announced to the whole class, "I have a little brother!"

Michael, you have truly grown into an amazing young man! I am so very proud of you. What a blessing you are to me, my little brother! We have so many memories together and we have so many more to make in the years to come!

The past 21 years, you have touched my life in more ways than you know. You are truly the most awesome brother a sister could ask for. Your family loves you so very much!

Happy 21st Birthday to my amazing, one of a kind, sweet, thoughtful, caring, smart, loving, AWESOME little brother...MICHAEL!

Zeppole, Pizza, Spaghetti, Cannoli and Meatballs!

Happy Weekend! Last night Bryan and I walked down our street to the Feast of LA street festival going on near Hollywood Blvd. We started the night on the roof top watching the sunset, then joined the street crowd snacking on Zeppole, Pizza, Spaghetti, Cannoli and Meatballs!

Feast of LA

Thanks B, for another fun date night!

Food Truck Date Night in LA

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Thu, 27 Sep 2012 19:07:00 +0000

Food Trucks. Have you heard of them? You may see them becoming more and more popular in cities such as Los Angeles and Dallas....they aren't your average food trucks! You can find fine dining choices on the menus at one of these trucks parked on the side of the road...there's even an iphone ap that my husband uses to located his favorite food trucks such as "the grilled cheese truck" or the "Lobsta food truck."

Last night we had a "Wednesday night date night" and walked to the "Lobsta" food truck parked nearby where we dined on Lobster bisque and some kind of yummy lobster roll! How about that!

Be on the lookout for this popular new mobile trend in your city! If you haven't tried a food truck before, I recommend it! It's not that bad!

Aerosmith

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Mon, 06 Aug 2012 18:31:00 +0000

Tonight Bryan and I are going out for a Monday Night Date Night to go see AEROSMITH perform at the Hollywood bowl!

I'm hoping he sings the 90's Aerosmith classics like "Cryin" and "Dude looks like a lady!"

Pretty much all the songs on this top 10 list! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBO1j8CGnCQ

Just another fun LA memory to add to our bucket list!

Camping!

noreply@blogger.com (Teresa Lowther Mason) — Tue, 24 Jul 2012 01:15:00 +0000

Last weekend was my first time to camp...ever! I've gone hiking many times but I have never actually "gone camping." (Sleeping in air conditioned cabins at Pine Cove doesn't count! And staying overnight in a Swiss lodge after a day of hiking doesn't really count!) This was hard core camping....meaning sleeping in a tent! And guess what...it was a blast!

We did about a 5 mile hike wearing our backpacks filled with water, snacks, bug spray, sheets & sleeping bags. Here are a few snap shots of our adventure in the Los Angeles National Forest!

Waterfall along the hike!

T hiking

Making Smores! My favorite part of the night!

B making smores!

Good thing Bryan was a boy scout!
He knew how to set up the tent, build a fire & do everything else needed to camp!

We were giggling in the tent because it was just funny to be camping!

Bryan cooked us "camping food" on his little stove he packed in his bag! It actually tasted pretty good!

Overall, it was quite an adventure! I think I will go camping again!
