			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>HOUSTON, Texas &#8212; Margaret Johnson has joined Terracon&#8217;s Houston office as a senior client development manager for the energy sector. Specifically focusing on oil and gas, Johnson will be responsible for overall development and strategic growth.</p>
<p>Johnson&#8217;s experience includes new business development, negotiations, key account management, strategic business alliances and customer retention throughout the energy sector. Her knowledge and expertise includes pipeline, exploration, production, engineering, construction, deepwater, marine, operations and petrochem.</p>
<p>She is an active member of the Marine Technology Society-Houston (MTS) as an executive officer. She is involved with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Pipeliners Association of Houston, Houston Geological Society, Society for Underwater Technology and Associated Builders and Contractors.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>CHICAGO, Ill. &#8212; Frank V. Gonzalez, AIA, has joined Terracon&#8217;s Chicago office as a senior project architect. He will be responsible for providing consulting services that include building envelope evaluations (including roofing and waterproofing), as well as facility condition assessments and sustainability consulting to clients.</p>
<p>Gonzalez has more than 23 years of experience in architecture and construction. His experience ranges from design to restoration and preservation, including construction administration and forensic investigation into structural failures on a wide variety of building types.&#160; He has been responsible for more than 100 restoration projects in both New York City and Chicago. Several notable projects include the restoration of The Gage Building by Louis Sullivan and the Edson Keith Building by Holabird and Roche on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, and a customized technical solution to the World Financial Center Atrium in New York.</p>
<p>Gonzalez&#8217;s expertise also includes green building guidance using the Green Globes building rating system, which promotes sustainability in the built environment. He is a credited Green Globes Professional (GGP) and provides seminars to the building community on best green practices.</p>
<p>He is an active member with civic and business associations, currently serving on several committees with Building Owners and Managers Association International/Chicago.&#160; He is a member of the Hinsdale, Ill., Design Commission and a former member of the Hinsdale Preservation Commission.</p>
<p>Gonzalez has a bachelor&#8217;s degree from the University of Houston School of Architecture.&#160;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OLATHE, Kan. &#8212; &#160;Terracon has been awarded the construction materials engineering and testing and Special Inspections services for the Baha Mar Hotel and Casino Resort located in Nassau, The Bahamas. This project expands Terracon&#8217;s international project experience, establishing a project office in The Bahamas for the duration of the project.</p>
<p>Baha Mar will be the largest, single-phase destination resort in the Caribbean, featuring six hotels, the largest casino in the Caribbean, five acres of convention and meeting facilities, three spas, retail village and a Jack Nicklaus golf course.</p>
<p>Terracon&#8217;s work will involve the superstructure core works package, comprised of a podium building, casino hotel tower, convention hotel tower, luxury hotel, lifestyle hotel, central utility plant building and three vehicle bridges.</p>
