Regionals/ The Agent Deck

2011-06-26T07:58:00.000-07:00

As i mentioned before I went out to regionals the other day. I placed 70 out of 200 so i was fairly dissapointed in my performance but it gave me an opportunity to learn what decks are setting themselves apart from the rest. I was especially impressed by the agent decks made from the starter decks released the night before. One of the agent decks placed second in the entire tournament. I bought some of the starter decks soon after and was very impressed with how they can be built but with one exception. Archlord Krystia was not included in the starter deck as it was rumored to be. I want to hear what you guys think about this change in the deck and how it has effected you.

As always have a good day,

Exceeds

2011-05-25T17:05:00.000-07:00

In a few days Konami is coming out with their new starter deck. This marks a turning point in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh. This deck contains the new card type Exceed. If these new extra deck monsters live up to the power of synchros it could mean a complete change to the meta game as we know it. I would Like to hear what you guys think about these new cards and this new started deck. a list can be found at http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Starter_Deck_2011 .

Extreme Victory Again/ I love the new psychics

2011-05-04T19:32:00.000-07:00

This past weekend I attended the extreme victory pre-release event. I am far more excited about this new pack now that I have seen some of the new cards in action. For example the new psychic support released in this pack makes them potentially tournament competitive as they have a possible combo to summon naturia beast, naturia barkion, and naturia landoise in a single turn while maintaining hand advantage. These cards provide this forgotten deck with amazing possibilities. When I perfect this combo that I created I will post how to perform it in a new post. Aside from psychics there is excitement abound about meklords and TG's. these decks have support which could make them very competitive. Also karakuri recieves support in the form of new monsters and a dark bribe counterpart.

Over all this pack will prove to be an exciting one which could change the decks we see in regional competition (except for Six-Samurai which only gained more support).

Tell me what you think...

Extreme Victory

2011-04-24T09:39:00.000-07:00

The release of the new TCG set Extreme Victory is just around the corner. With the release set for May 10th and the pre-release event being held on April 30th this is certainly an exciting new set for players of all kinds of decks. Notable decks receiving support in this new pack are Junk, Six Samurai, Gladiator Beasts, and Plants. The entire card list for this set has yet to be released but as of now you can expect a few of these cards to make an appearance.

Elemental Hero Neos Knight
Gladiator Beast Essedari
Psychic Shockwave
Tour Guide From the Underworld
Dodger Dragon
Reborn Tengu
Meklord Emperor Skiel
Junk Berserker

I am personally very excited for this new set and cant wait for it to come out. Tell me what you think of this set by commenting and have a nice day.
