Plenty of Counter Space

Blog fan Melissa sent this one in. Need I say more?

Drink Your V8 Before Operating A Camera

2013-06-26T13:00:00.000-04:00

All of the following are slanted one way or another. Drink your V8!

It's a Plastic Wrapped Panda

2013-06-25T09:00:00.000-04:00

Another photo that made me laugh out loud.

Nice Walls You've Got There

2013-06-24T12:00:00.000-04:00

Blog fan Heidi sent these in. Those are some great walls don't you think?

What Is It?

2013-06-23T20:32:00.000-04:00

I'm still trying to figure out what this is. Wonder why the agent thought it needed to be included in the listing?

Blurry, blurry 5.0!

2013-06-20T20:00:00.000-04:00

Why even bother putting this in the listing?

TV Anyone?

2013-06-19T19:59:00.001-04:00

Here are some ~~good~~ pictures. Why not turn the TV off when the Realtor takes pictures? Because you don't want to miss an episode of Judge Mathis - that's why!

I thought this one also showed a strange view of the room. Oh, and don't forget the kids watching TV on the couch!

Cats and Dogs

2013-06-16T12:03:00.001-04:00

I always, always smile when I see a cat or dog in the picture. As with a lot of the photos I post, they aren't terrible, they're just fun to look at.

See if you can spot the cats and dogs in these listing photos:

These next two are the same bedroom, different side of the cat. Ha!

I'm not talking about the dog in the chair here....the real one on the floor.

I See You!

2013-06-05T06:00:00.000-04:00

It amazes me the amount of photos I see with either the homeowner in them or the Realtor in a reflection. In no way are these photos terrible, just ones that I think should be re-taken.

The Finger

2013-06-04T09:39:00.002-04:00

This particular listing was a For Sale by Owner. The homeowner has a finger that just keeps appearing throughout the photos.

Throw it Out!

2013-05-29T08:00:00.000-04:00

This was sent in by a fan of the blog - just perfect for here don't you think? This is a honest to goodness real MLS photo!

What Did Your Mom Say?

2013-05-28T06:00:00.000-04:00

Didn't your Mom tell you to make your bed every morning? Or at least before the Realtor comes over to take photos?

An Unidentified Person

2013-05-24T08:00:00.000-04:00

I've never seen anything like this before in a real estate listing! Can you spot what I'm talking about? (FYI you can click on the photo to make it bigger)

Until next time...

Fingerprints

2013-05-20T11:16:00.002-04:00

Everyone has accidentally put their fingers over the lens while taking a picture - even this Realtor:

Until next time folks!

He Just Google'd It

2013-05-17T11:58:00.002-04:00

Before I get to today's photo, if you're out and about looking at houses on the web and come across photos that would be perfect on here, use the link to the left to e-mail me the photos or link. Many thanks!

The Realtor selling this house really went out of his way to get a photo; á la Google Maps!

Until next time!

Time for a New Photo!

2013-05-15T14:27:00.000-04:00

We are in the process of looking for a new home so we've come across a lot of 'terrible' photos to share with you. I'll be posting periodically, so make sure you are a follower of the blog so you get the updates.

And with most of the 'terrible' photos I post, you have to say to yourself "Why did the Realtor take this photo?"

Let's see if you can spot what I'm talking about in this photo:

Be sure to send in any 'terrible' photos you see! Click on the green envelope icon on the left hand side of the blog.

Fan Jenna sent these in. She says this first one is just angled enough to make the one wall look titled.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Glow

2011-08-18T09:00:00.000-04:00

I laughed out loud at this one. I'm sure the Realtor was trying to catch the nice ambiance of a fire in this stove.

Level It Out

2011-08-17T09:00:00.000-04:00

Yet another cock-eyed photo from a Realtor.

Blurry, blurry 4.0!

2011-08-16T09:00:00.000-04:00

Another classically blurry photo:

Advising the Seller...

2011-08-15T09:00:00.000-04:00

In this case, I think it would be wise for the Realtor to advise the Seller to re-paint the room.....

These had me laughing out loud!

From fan Erin:

All the photos of this particular house had that smudge mark on them.

Too Dark

2011-08-11T09:00:00.000-04:00

Light would be a good thing in this photo!

Splat!

2011-08-10T09:00:00.000-04:00

Not so terrible of a photo, but I can't help but think "splat went the animal on the wall!"

Things That Make You Go Hmm

2011-08-09T09:00:00.000-04:00

The random dumbbell. Really?
