We delve into a bigfoot movie, The Legend of Boggy Creek (1973), then check in with Nessie, the main star in Beneath Loch Ness from 2002. After that, it’s a young boy’s experience with the Native American legend Wendigo (2001) and we wrap it up with Bloodthirst: The Legend of the Chupacabras (2003) even though Netflix said it was Bloodthirst 2: Revenge of the Chupacabras! It really didn’t matter in the end as most of these flicks had us gagging or laughing at unintentional comedy.

This episode also features Boss Butcher’s Vampire Bloodbath pick: 2010′s Dead Cert and Bloody Lizzy picks The Collector for her Thrillseekers. Captain Howdy gives a Horror Community service announcement regarding the nature of the upcoming movie Don’t Go In The Woods. Boss Butcher then ends the show with a rousing rendition of the song “Lonely Cry” from The Legend of Boggy Creek that hopefully won’t lead to being brought up on charges of earslaughter.

Enjoy the good times as we recreate significant parts of The Initiation of Sarah, and indulge Boss Butcher’s sorority house fantasy, and laugh at how certain things have changed since Carrie took a shower back in the day.

Also included are Bloody Lizzy’s Thrillseeker recommendation- Aftermath (1994), a messed up short that’s on Netflix streaming. Then hear where Boss Butcher gets his perspective from in a special triple feature Blood Bath covering Boss’s childhood nightmares: Count Yorga, Vampire (1970), The Return of Count Yorga (1971) and Let’s Scare Jessica To Death (1971).

The second of our two Halloween shows features a suprise guest, Gregamortis! Gregamortis helps us dissect the remakes of Halloween, Friday The 13th, and A Nightmare On Elm Street, and fills us in on his new podcast: Land of the Creeps. His new podcast will be here with us at Horror Palace, so look for the debut on November 9th.

Also in this episode Bloody Lizzy recommends The Cell, from 2000 starring Jennifer Lopez for her Thrillseekers, and Nightwatch gets Boss Butcher’s stamp of approval in Boss Butcher’s Vampire Bloodbath.

A couple of side notes from this episode from Boss Butcher:

I had a couple of things that I forgot to mention on the show. First, I meant to acknowledge that I had heard Gregamortis’ comparison of the original A Nightmare On Elm Street to the remake on his Creepture Feature podcast, and secondly, I forgot to mention that I wish they would have shown Danielle Harris’ cool eyebrow in Rob Zombie’s Halloween! They had it covered the whole time.

Also, we did have a bit of technical difficulty in recording, so there are a few spots that are a little shaky, but it was a fun episode overall, and I hope you all like it!
