Alice In Chains t-shirt is printed with the cover from their 'Vintage Facelift' album. The band name is printed across the posterized face, in their signature logo style. 'Facelift' is printed below in small block lettering. The open-mouthed face is printed in a distressed style to look authentically vintage, with intentionally 'worn' lettering and image. Unique design, a must-have for any true AIC fan!

Alice in Chains rose to international fame as part of the grunge movement of the early 1990s, along with bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. Their albums include Jar Of Flies, and Dirt, and have sold over 14 million albums in the US, with 2 reaching number one on Billboard's top 200, and 11 top ten singles. They were nominated six times for a Grammy Award. Their second album, 'Dirt', was a critical success, praised as a "major artistic statement...a flat-out masterpiece.' It spawned five top 30 singles, including 'Rooster', 'Them Bones', and 'Down in a Hole', and remained on the charts for nearly a year.

AIC music is characterized by the dark lyrics about drug abuse, depression, and suicide. Co-founder Layne Stayley died of a heroin overdose in 2002 after a lifelong battle with addiction. Staley's last major tour with AIC was in 1993's Lollapalooza Tour with Tool and Rage Against The Machine. Jimi Hendrix 'Swirl Poster' black subway t-shirt

2010-10-08T06:04:00.000-07:00

Black t-shirt features the original 'voodoo child' silhouetted against a psychedelic swirl of magenta pink and yellow. Jimi's face is posterized in red, green and blue. 'Jimi Hendrix' is printed below in magenta pink, lettered in an Indian-style swirled design. The all-over print covers the entire front of the shirt in a "Subway-style." The Jimi Hendrix Experience showcased Hendrix' talents with the axe, where he mixed lead and rhythm guitar duties into one, while also making use of then-revolutionary guitar effects such as feedback and wah-wah. Redding and Mitchell rounded out the trio, who all wore psychedelic costumes and permed afros. The Experience were one of the first integrated bands - a strong political statement given the racial turmoil of the times, to have a black frontman with two white men. Their legendary performance at the Monterey Pop Festival ended with Hendrix famously setting his guitar on fire. Their albums included 'Are You Experienced', and 'Electric Ladyland', which was the peak of Jimi Hendrix's mastery of the electric guitar, and is frequently cited as one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Every guitar hero will love this fantastic Hendrix t-shirt. Celebrate the legendary songs of Jimi Hendrix, including the guitar anthems 'Purple Haze' and 'The Wind Cries Mary' with this awesome subway-print tee.

Better Off Dead

2010-10-06T06:46:00.000-07:00

Lane Myer (John Cusack) is stuck in a personal hell. A compulsive, adolescent Everyman growing up in Suburbia, USA, not only does he fail to make the prestigious high school ski team (again), but his beloved sweetheart, Beth, also leaves him for Roy, the team's popular, arrogant captain. If this isn't bad enough, he's stuck with a mother who frighteningly experiments--rather than cooks--with food, a brother who builds rockets out of models, and a best friend so desperate for drugs that he settles for snorting powdered snow. Faced with these prospects, Lane opts to end it all ... until he comes up with a ridiculous plan to gain acceptance and win Beth back. Director Savage Steve Holland warps this simple, clichéd premise, letting his wacky imagination twist it into a fairly original, slightly dark, and completely hilarious '80s teen comedy. Not as serious a "suicide-attempt" movie as, say, Harold and Maude but just as funny, the film's more a collection of screwball sketches than a narrative. Holland livens the high jinks with surrealistic fantasy touches, including Jell-O that crawls, a hamburger that sings Van Halen, drawings that mock its creator, Japanese race-car drivers who only speak Howard Cosell, and a psychotic paperboy seeking blood over a missing $2. Cusack puts the whole thing on his shoulders and carries the insanity with another one of his touching, obsessively romantic performances, which, along with Say Anything, The Sure Thing, and One Crazy Summer, made him the quintessential (and appealing) personification of lovestruck adolescence and suffering. --Dave McCoy

Alice In Chains 'Dirt' black t-shirt

2010-10-05T21:50:00.000-07:00

Black t-shirt is printed with the artwork from the rock band Alice In Chains album 'Dirt'. Blended shades of tan and brown desert sand form the shape of a body, as it emerges from the patterns in the dirt. The head is lifting up from the body. At the edge of the distant fields, 'DIRT' is printed in light tan against a dark brown mountain. The tonal pattern is reversed in the background; 'Alice In Chains' printed in dark lettering is visible in the distant light brown sky. Very unique design, a must-have for any true AIC fan!

Alice in Chains rose to international fame as part of the grunge movement of the early 1990s, along with bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. Copper Link/chain Bracelet

2010-10-03T05:47:00.000-07:00

We can honestly say that you will not find higher quality copper bracelets any where else. Our pure copper bracelets and copper magnetic bracelets make use of a fine Egyptian lacquer to protect the finish until the copper is worn. This lacquer is designed to wear off so the copper may come into direct contact with the skin. Any commercially available brass or metal cleaner may be used to polish your copper jewelry. A greenish color may appear on your wrist while wearing our pure copper cuff bracelets. The green color is copper being slowly dissolved from the copper bracelet can be easily washed off.
For those individuals wearing copper for arthritis this is exactly what they want to see. Probably the most authoritative publication on the subject is Dr. Helmar Dollwet's book, The Copper Bracelet and Arthritis, 1981 Vantage Press. In it Dr. Dollwet explains that copper is an essential element of an enzyme necessary for the production and regeneration of the cartilage lining the bone surfaces. Copper (and zinc) he explains, are also essential to Super-oxide Dismutase (SOD) which cleans up superoxide radicals that can be destructive to human body tissues. Evidence has been found through scientific research as to the breakdown and absorption of copper compounds through the skin. Read 'The Copper Bracelet and Arthritis' by Dr. Helmar Dollwet for more information.
Pharmacies all over Europe sell copper bracelets for the inflammation of joints. The American Arthritis Foundation calls copper bracelets an "unproven remedy".
