<h1>My favorite PPC Management Tool</h1>
<p>One of the biggest problems for PPC users is the time and manual labour involved in setting up campaigns with thousands of groups and keywords.  Internet marketing specialists always use a  PPC Management tool to save time and money.</p>
<p>Some are<a  href="http://testingcollege.com/115/keywords-ppc-management/"> keyword Research</a> tools, some formatters, landing page auto generators or plain and simple automation tools. When I started PPC there were practically no tools available at save a few Excel macros  that would help speed up putting &#8220;quotes&#8221; and [brackets] around my keywords.  Others provide miss-spellings and add suffix or prefixes to keywords in order to allow you to test beyond your imagination.</p>
<p>Most of these automation assistants did a specific task but none did a complete  job, requiring you to use multiple tools to get your manual work done quicker. That is until a young Australian, named Jay Stockwell introduced<a  rel="follow" href="http://www.whatsmyspin.com/ppc-pay-per-click-ideas/do-you-feel-the-need-for-speed-review-of-speed-ppc/"> Speed PPC </a> to the market in 2007.  It was the Swiss army knife of<a  href="http://testingcollege.com/454/speed-ppc-v4-vs-v3-new-and-improved/"> PPC (Pay Per Click) Management tools</a>. From his base on the east coast of Queensland in Brisbane he and marketing partner Allen Gardyne brought a time saving ppc management tool to the market which provided  the ability to input keywords,select groupings, place add copy for the ads and do it all and more in mere minutes, for work that was taking many hours to complete.</p>
<h2>Speed PPC v4.5 as a PPC Management Tool</h2>
<p>The  three year old  .Net software is Windows-based  and has been updated with changes since its inception. As market needs changed it would adapt and now can be used for Google Adwords, Microsoft adCenter and Yahoo campaigns. 	It also integrated with a number of other  newer ppc operators like 7 Search,Ask,Miva and Looksmart 	. The current Version 4.5 also provides supports for  PPV (PayPerView) Networks like LeadImpact/Zango, AdOn and Media Traffic which have grown in the last two years.<br />
A user can also customize the software layouts to other specific needs without new versions being released, just through configuration changes. This feature allows a great deal of flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.</p>
<p>I have used the Speed PPC  PPC Management Tool for over 2 years and have found it a godsend. You gain great time leverage from it and it allows for rapid deployment in mere minutes.  When you are planning campaigns with locations based ads, or product-based ads you will find the collection of over 400 keyword modifier lists such as state,country,city listings. This is located in the Campaign builder module and once these lists are loaded they are available for your use in any campaign. For example if you were looking to place location specific ads for&#8221; DUI attorney&#8221; in every city of a US, it would be a few keystrokes to add these modifiers.</p>
<h3>A PPC Management Tool for Speed and Conversion</h3>
<p><a  href="http://speedppcV45.com">Speed PPCV4.5</a> comes in 4 basic parts. The Campaign Builder is the core which allows you to import keywords,ad groups,ad copy,bid pricing and the url&#8217;s both display and actual url combination. It allows for the use of dynamic keywords, based on a seed keyword and a variety of expansion keywords. The second part are Landing Page Templates for your  offers that allow for Dynamic Text Insertions which will provide the user what they are looking for, improve your<a  rel="nofollow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quality_Score"> quality score </a>and conversion results. The third part is Affiliate Data Feed Software which allows you to create a dynamic user experience through the use of affiliate supplied database files. With the aid of this software, you’ll be able to use data directly from your affiliate datafeed files to build specific campaigns and create matching landing pages. A fourth module gives you a WordPress Dynamic Keyword Insertion Tool and Landing Page Creator, through PHP, which allows you to use datafeeds on a WordPress blog platform with similar ease. All help lower your bid prices and improve your quality score.</p>

<p>You never feel left alone with this tool as regular trainings are done as Webinars, usually by the lovely and talented Reena Shoet or Jay Stockwell. In addition here is an extensive library of training tools and  over 25 videos that will take you from beginner to Adwords Wizard in short order.  It is detailed and step-by-step, holding your hand through each art of planning,building and executing a PPC Campaign. If I were an educator this might be an MBA in Adwords education in a box. It contained all I needed to get a good understanding of the mechanics and fundamentals of PPC Management Tools.</p>

One of the concepts that has been growing recently is that of social media. Instead of advertising in publications that are driven by funding from media companies that have large budgets, social media use the power of social connections and word of mouth to spread information.</p>
<p>While there are a number of social media options available, a weblog or blog is among the post popular choices. A blog is a remarkable tool; it offers anyone that has something to say a convenient place to do so. Once a message is posted it can be read by anyone at anytime.</p>
<p>Think about the profoundness of that statement for just a moment. Before the days of the internet and social media, the sheer financial cost of spreading a message were prohibitive. You&#8217;d either need radio or television time, or a budget sufficient to meet the challenges of national or global publication. Not only do blogs dramatically lessen this cost, but they make the same platform available to just about anyone.</p>
<p>However, there is one considerable down side to the power of the blog. How do you make sure your message isn&#8217;t lost in all the noise? This is where the power of social media networking starts to shine. But, social media networking has its draw backs as well. How can a person with no social capital start to break into the networks to take advantage of all that social media offers?</p>
<p>This is where blog networks can help. Put simply, blog networks are collections of blogs related to specific topics, often grouped together to provide commercial and other forms of support. As these networks take many forms, generalizing them can be a challenge, but here are a few broad characteristics and the advantages they offer.</p>
<p>First and foremost, blog networks combine many blogs into a single feed. Ideally you should be able to draw visitors directly to your site, thus generating ad and other revenues directly. However, before you can make money online you must first make your content available to many readers. If those responsible for administering blog networks feel that your content is in keeping with their guidelines, your articles will suddenly be syndicated to however many readers happen to be following that particular network. As such sites are quite convenient for readers with a passion for the topic in question, this number can be quite large. If your posts are interesting enough, readers will visit your site to join the discussion, and suddenly you&#8217;ve attracted viewers you&#8217;d have missed had you instead focused on drawing traffic directly.</p>
<p>Additionally, blog networks will use social networking in order to promote themselves as well as their bloggers. It can be tough to integrate your blog into the social networks, especially if you&#8217;re unfamiliar with the opportunities that are available and the variety of ways in which a huge amount of technologies interact. Since most of the administrators of blog networks aren&#8217;t really concerned with content creation, since bloggers do it for them, they can concentrate their efforts of promotion. For example, blog networks may automatically post links to Twitter. With a catchy title, your blog post might attract curious readers, buy could also be retweeted and distributed beyond the individual network.</p>
<p>Another of the benefits of joining blog networks are the relationships that can be formed. For many, blogging can be very lonely work and starting out with no social connections can be very difficult. Even bloggers who would be quite good given time might give up in frustration due to lack of initial support, and the feeling of being a part of something larger. For the new blogger, such support and motivation may be the difference between a enjoying a successful career and something that will be tossed aside in frustration.</p>
<p>There are a variety of networks from which to choose, ranging from general to networks that focus on particular niches. Blog networks also exhibit a wide array of models, from highly informal aggregations of feeds to well-structured businesses with associated benefits and costs. Before joining any of the blog networks, take some time to do some research and find the different options that are available for your topic, as there are many lists published online. Also, investigate the blogs of network members to ensure that theirs are weblogs with which you wish to associate.</p>
<p>As with most things, blog networks aren&#8217;t right for everyone. They are, however, a powerful tool that can help harness the power of social media to your benefit, and should be given serious consideration by anyone wishing to make money online.</p>

<p>You have finally put together a great PPC campaign and feel that you can now relax and see the sales pour in. Unfortunately this is not the way PPC advertising works. Once you have set up your campaign your work is far from over. You will need to manage your campaign carefully to make sure that you are earning the maximum amount from it. One of the critical areas to examine is your keywords.</p>
<p>You will be using two different types of keywords. These are general, broad ranged keywords and the more targeted keywords.</p>
<p>General keywords are those that attract a large crowd of searchers for a certain topic but not necessarily a niche within that topic. For example a broad based keyword could be &#8220;home business.&#8221; This will attract a lot of searchers. However they may not be interested in your particular niche and you will get few sales or leads.</p>
<p>The targeted keywords however will draw much less traffic, but the traffic it does draw will have more interest in your specific product or service. This will lead to a higher sales conversion.</p>
<p>Now that you understand the basic types of keywords you will know how to manage this important area of your PPC advertising campaign. One of the main reasons a campaign is not doing well is often due to keywords. Bear in mind if a keyword is not performing well and just getting clicks with no sales or leads you are throwing a lot of money down the drain.</p>
<p>Use your PPC engine&#8217;s tools to track the amount of traffic being drawn in by you keywords. This can be done for each separate keyword for your campaign.</p>
<p>Another factor you need to look at is the conversion rate, or the number of clicks required to generate a sale. This ratio will be much lower for the broad keywords and much higher for the niche. Since you pay for each click you will need to evaluate the value of your keywords.</p>
<p>Thirdly check the cost per click as opposed to the sales per click; this will be your profits. How much are you bidding on a particular keyword? Is it converting enough sales to justify the bid? If not your PPC campaign is costing your too much money and needs to be adjusted so that you can profit and not lose money.</p>
<p>Keyword trends change. Searchers may look for one set of keywords at one point in time than change to another set later. This factor must be considered and you will need to monitor your keywords and check if they are pulling as well as they used to.</p>
<p>If a keyword is failing to make you money, something needs to be changed. You will need to look at your bid, sales conversions, and traffic generated. As trends change these keywords will continue to need adjusted to keep them successful, or perhaps replace with more successful keywords. This will ensure a suitable ROI.</p>

<p>As with all other traffic programs involving mass mailing or displaying ads, there&#8217;s absolutely no effectiveness in selling something straight away unless 1) you can target a very specific market, and 2) there is a cause for urgency.</p>
<p>You will always do better giving out freebies in exchange of the recipients&#8217; e-mail addresses through a lead-capture page. What you must continually practice is to create a funnel system like this:</p>
<p>traffic programs to lead capture to autoresponder list</p>
<p>so that you are able to qualify interested people into loyal subscribers and buyers. Why? It is always better to mail several times to the same folks who are willing to give you a more positive response than to randomly mail what most others wouldn&#8217;t care.</p>
<p>Think of a game plan of what you can best do to create such a funnel system.</p>
