Can you do functions by calling filename or any other better ways?

1. Can I save the function to another filename?
2. If I save to another filename how do I evoke it?
3. Is there any other better way?

Little complex - QC and QTP connection

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows XP mode. Now, I've few issues with both of the OS's

1. I've installed QC 9.0 Server version in Windows XP mode because we can't install QC server in Windows 7.

2. I've installed QTP in Windows 7. Because, we can't install QTP on Remote machine (i.e., windows xp mode).

Now, I wanna use BPT by connecting both the QC and QTP.

Issue : We can't use QC in Win7, We can't use QTP in Windows XP mode. So, how can we make them work for BPT.

My Idea: Get the Windows 7 and Windows XP mode on same Network and install QC client in Windows 7 and connect QTP and QC client on Windows 7.

But, I can't make it my idea. Please gimme some good idea or if my idea is OK please gimme the steps to make them both OS's on same network.

Anshu: Please provide your valuable suggestions on this.

Using M-eux for Mobile testing using QTP

I have the following questions:

1) We have Enterprise License for QTP. However, i did not see the M-eux Add-in for QTP. Do we have to buy it separately?

2) Is M-eux is best tool to perform mobile testing. {We have to run the same QTP scripts used for desktop on the Mobile Device. Do let me know

3) Is anyone used M-eux add-in and if so, would like details on how it works.

4) Any other info will help

Using regular expression to identify dynamic pages

I'm having a problem getting the browser name and page for a pop up browser.
This is may scenario.
1. Login in the website
2. website will go to inbox in which, the page name is dynamic.
Using the regular expression Browser("micclass:=Browser", "name:=.*").Page("micclass:=Page", "title:=.*"), i did get the page name.
3. clicking the New Message and there will be a pop up browser (there is now 2 browser opened in my desktop).
As i use the same regular expression above, it give me an error which says it is not unique..

Please help me with this.
