Kids, our children. are always the top priority! I don’t know, since we have kids, our life are changed, like totally changed, in a good way. we think and work and live differently. I guess we think for them first, work harder for them and live happier with them…

This summer, we moved back to Vancouver. I think so far, all of us are enjoying it and we think it’s a right thing we did.

Tulip festival!!!

Well, the trip wasn’t so fun…tooooooo many people….and cars.

Basically, we spent 2 hours line up in the car just to get to the parking lot ($10/car), and been told that there will be another 40 minutes waiting for the bus. So we decided walk… about 3 kilometers, with my camera….sure

Ok, at the garden, it’s NOT THAT BIG… at least smaller than I thought. And toooo many people.

Oh well, what can you do, the weather was good and that’s awesome right?

Haven’t have time to really edit the photos, but here are some.

Event photography preparations. Vancouver Tony Huang

When client ask me to do a event photo session. I always want to know some details before I go.

How many people? Will you need at least one photo per person? or some interesting ones and some group shots. This is totally different requirements and I will need to change the shooting style during the time.

Will the place be very dark? Will people be mad if I use flash so often? Because I don’t know the guests and I want do my job good so I can get paid. this is the question for my ISO settings

in the camera. See, with all the new technologies nowadays, you don’t aleays need flash for inside photos.

Food! Beautiful photos for the food of course! I hope I can have time to do the food photos peacefully. Because for dishes, you need some patience and you to play around with it to get a good shot.

Tony Huang Photography SEO research at Vancouver…

Why SEO now? Why we care about SEO? Or why we care about search result? Shouldn’t photographers get the clients by beautiful photos?

I started photography because of my daughter, I wanted to record all the beautiful moments for her. Then friends liked my shots and asked me to do some photo session for them, and till today.

Well, I got business from friends, clients and I never worried about it. But it’s not the same in a new city, a whole new home for me. I don’t even know the name of the road, not to mention who will get married next month.

I guess I need advertisements, I need google now. I want a good search ranking number for my website.

So we are, doing SEO research.

According to my 5 minutes digging, now you need to do SO MUCH for a good result (which I don’t know how to checkJ).

1, content of your website, or your page. Google looks at WHAT YOU WROTE.

2, Links! You need many many links to link to your site. The more the better, so google knows that your website is worth looking. Must be a good website so that people like to link to it.

3, Title. Yeah, title! The title of your post is very important now, apparently google checks page title, and I guess it’s a reasonable decision isn’t it. So I name the title for this post “SEO research” and “Tony Huang Photography” lol…

4, tag…. Tag of the image inside your page. This is surprising. When you post a blog, and insert an image, usually just for the looking of your page, not for better search engine attention, at least for me. But from now, I will put a useful tag for all the images. You can have different tags for the same photo though.

5, I don’t know yet, as the deeper I learn, the more I will post…
