Ajith's Influence in Sri Devi's Life

There was a news recently stating that Thala's punch in Billa 2 inspired Bharath (of Boys fame) a lot. We all know that our Super Star Rajni Kanth the Great acted many films with Sri Devi. SS Rajni Kanth was a influential person in Sri Devi's cinema life, well not in the REAL life.

Ajith Kumar has acted with Sri Devi in her upcoming film- English Vinglish. It's Sri Devi's comeback after many years. The movie is titled as "Aangilam Vaangilam" in Tamil. This is a very breezy story about a housewife who takes attempt to put English on her tongue.

The character of Sri Devi brings the normal life of Indian Traditional Women, who often get the feeling of insecurity, to the screen. Three men play key roles with Sri Devi- Adil Hussain as Sri Devi's husband, French actor Mehdi Nebbou, as an English Teacher, Ajith Kumar who travels with Sri Devi by air to USA. The film is directed by Gauri Shinde.

However, in Hindi version of the movie, Ajith Kumar's role will be performed by Big Boss Amitabh Bachchan.

Tapsee's impressive eyes towards Ajith

Tapsee Pannu is currently staying in Chennai for the shoot of her fourth Tamil movie. The film is yet to be titled. Biggest stars of the Indian Cinema like Ajith, Nayantara, Arya and Rana Daggubati play the main roles in the film which is directed by Director Vishnuvardan of the Billa fame. Tapsee Pannu of Aadukalam fame says that there few more stars staring in the film.

“It’s a big budget film in terms of the casting. No single role will go unnoticed in the movie, as Vishnuvardhan has opted for established actors from Tollywood and even Bollywood. I am lucky to be part of this project," she says.

Scenes are being shot except Rana's scenes. Tapsee says that she was so much impressed by her co-star Thala Ajith.

"I have done 14 films so far and have never felt so much at ease on the first day of shoot in any of them. Ajith is unbelievably simple. I have met Nayantara once before and have immense respect for her. She told me she will make sure that I'm comfortable on the sets and she did that! And when Arya, whom I'm paired with, is around, he makes the atmosphere light," says Taapsee.

Tapsee character is said to be a journalist. She states that she is very familiar with her role.

"We all watch news channels, so we know how they work in a news environment. But my role is not a serious one. Sequences involving me will be lively and fun compared to others. Vishnuvardhan has worked the script so well that each character will be different from the rest and the story will be incomplete without any of us. Mine is not a blink-and-miss role," she says.

Tapsee says that every industry has its preference, that is the Telugu audience like to watch films beyond reality while the Tamil audience like to watch films close to reality. So she says,

"so I choose accordingly and make sure I'm different in every movie, irrespective of the language."

Tapsee also added that she plays a role of a village girl from 80's in her upcoming bilingual film, 'Marandhen Mannithen', which is to be released in Tamil and Telugu.

Krrish's Flight accident

Few days before, singer Krrish was travelling by air. There was a sudden emergency and the flight landed immediately at Penang, Malaysia.

After the incident, it looks like only two people from the industry called about to enquire about the incident.

Ajith took effort to find his Malaysian phone number and contacted Krrish.

That's why Krrish calls Ajith his trustworthy friend and was touched at hearing Ajith’s voice.

Recently Ajith's Billa 2 was released worldwide. Ajith stated a punch in this movie which brought back the whistles of millions of audience, "Dei enn vaalkaila ovvaru naalum, ovvaru nimishamum ean ovvaru nodiyum naana sethukkinathuda". Actor Bharath was greatly inspired by this punch. He says that this punch perfectly suits our Thala because he was from a non-filmy background and from a poor Telugu family. He also stated that none of Ajith's family members thought that he would bring such a hit from Tamil.

Ajith to gear up with Anushka

Anushka has acted with many popular stars excluding Ajith. Now it seems to be possible as she has been offered her next movie with Ajith. Director Siva of Siruthai fame is going to take hold of this.
Ajith recommended her because he has never worked with Anushka. Siva will start the project at the end of this December. However, reports conclude that Samantha is also being considered for the female lead role.

Meanwhile, Ajith is busy with Vishnuvardan's untitled movie as well as Anushka gearing up for Thaandavam release.
