Syracuse senior forward Rick Jackson was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year. St. John’s guard Dwight Hardy is the BIG EAST Most Improved Player. Hardy’s teammate, forward Justin Burrell, is the winner of the BIG EAST Sixth Man Award.  Pittsburgh guard Brad Wanamaker won the BIG EAST Sportsmanship Award.

The past few Sundays have been great for me as a Giants fan; excellent postseason play, surprise victories over strong opponents and of course, becoming the SUPER BOWL 42 CHAMPIONS!!
