Below, 25 people attempted to grab as many as possible for a contest co-hosted by a local radio station. The winner walked away $1,000 richer and with a year’s supply of American Coney dogs.

On that note, Modis has conducted their yearly Geek Pride Day survey and discovered that our ranks are swelling. They also uncovered some additional bits of information that you might find interesting. For example:

• 54 percent of both self-professed geeks and non-geeks rated geeks to be extremely intelligent, an increase from 45 percent in 2011
• 71 percent of survey respondents identified geeks as the go-to people for technology advice this year, up from 56 percent last year
• More than half of Americans (51 percent) define geeks as professionally successful, a significant jump from 31 percent in 2011
