With the upcoming release of the new iPhone 5 and it's 9 pin dock connector all our old iHomes and other junk have/will become useless. By useless I mean every accessory you have that has the 30 pin connector will no longer work with this new device.

But don't throw that junk away just get a 9 pin to 30 pin connector. This little adapter will allow you to save money on purchasing all new accessories.. At least for a little while!
This AC unit measure the thermal heat produced by individuals in a room and changes the air flow accordingly.

This is a great invention for commercial properties, nightclubs, funeral homes, etc. The unit no longer has to wait for the temperature to rise because at that point it is too late to keep the area cool. Auction off your organs before you croak!

Attention: This post my not be suitable for everyone. The 365th Idea and its staff may not hold the same opinions as its author(s) but does support creative and original thought. Please read this post with an open mind.

088/365

After one dies their organs and limbs become perishable commodities. Why can't you decide when your alive that you wish to auction off your remnants after your death?? Let's make an ebay for body parts. Highest bidder get the organ or limb. This seems a bit out of the box but I think in this economy a lot of people would go for it.

Where do we stop? When someone can willingly sell their body parts after their death and leave the cashola to their relatives. It get's complicated when people will be forced to auction off their body parts against their will to pay of debt. You know credit card companies would have a field day with this.

Complications? It's illegal now. While you can donate organs, right now, in the US it is illegal to sell your body parts after you die. But, while you're alive you can sell plasma and donate part of your kidney to someone with out

Why isn't this a viable market? I guess it's because of ethics or something.

If you watch cable television, at any time you'll see a slew of cut-rate insurance commercials e.g. Gieco, General, Nationwide, Progressive, etc. Individuals can no longer afford full coverage so these companies offer coverage at the state minimum which brings up an interesting concept for a new type of coverage.

A driver could possibly drive without auto insurance indefinitely as long as they a. don't get pulled over and b. don't get into an accident. It is under these situations when it becomes illegal to be an uninsured driver (it's not illegal until you get caught). My thoughts are that with all this technology why should anyone need to pay per month for auto insurance?

What I'm suggesting is auto insurance coverage only when you need it. Sign up at any time for service on a mobile app, then when/if you get pulled over just confirm the cost of on-demand coverage and get proof of insurance before the police officer is even out of his/her car.

Obviously, the cost of on-demand coverage would be substantial but less than that of the penalty for not being insured.

If an individual drives for 1 year uninsured without ever getting pulled over or in an accident they save around $1,600 (2010 average).

Weather App Notifications

082/365
I haven't worn a new a pair of kicks for weeks now because they're too clean. The white is to white and I'm afraid it looks like I'm wearing clown shoes. I imagine the market for this would be 18-35 yr old hipsters.

Smartphone Case and Nalgene Bottle Koozie

080/365
If you have rental property you know a professional renter (aka someone who doesn't pay rent) can live in your property for several months before being served an eviction notice and removed from the residence. This happens more than one can imagine and only gets worse with the rising unemployment rate.

This is a huge financial loss for property owners as well waste of a lot of time and effort on a lot of individuals. To prevent this from happening a suggest establishing a database for property owners to rate tenants. This paid service could drastically reduce the simplicity of professional renters.

iPhone 4 Case + Wallet

078/365

Search engines, such as Google, should collect area concentrated search terms and provide analytics for those locations. It would be very useful to know what individuals are searching for while at a particular place. For example, it would benefit a store like Walmart to know what their customers are searching for in regard to their shopping experience while at a particular store. Or, while at Yosemite National Park the search term analytics may suggest visitors don't know how to find a specific area or attraction and this could motivate alterations to help allevate confusion. Things that wouldn't normally have been brought to the attention of the owner/proprietor could be use to positively help the location/area.

There might be some big brother issues on this one but I think it would be a great information to collect and analyze. While I believe this technology should not intrude on individuals privacy at home, searching in public should be public information therefor a right for anyone to know or use.

Granny Alert Doorbell System

076/365
I recently went to visit my grama, she don't get around as much as she use to and it took awhile for her to get to the front door. By the time she made it there I had already went to the back door (bc i was born with tiger blood) and knocked. She walked towards the back and I went around front. It was a real Abbot and Costello bit for a few minutes before I was finally able to catch her at a door.

This gave me the idea for a notification system that informs the doorbell ringer that the person in the house recognizes someone is at the door and they should wait there until they make it there. Looking at this medieval apparatus gave me an idea for a fitness invention. Note: I did not make up this training method, i am simply refining what I've seen being done at the gym.

This new accessory uses the same technology that it use on weight machines, heavy duty carabiner, affixed to a ring spacer that fits standard size flatbars and holds these resistance band in place. This way adding and removing weight is no problem.

The addition and removal of bands is also made easier because they no longer have to be stretched around the end of the bar and positioned in such a cruel manner. This also allows the bands to rotate freely on the bar which helps ergonomically.

Luggage Insurance

074/365

Self-winding watches are cool. There's a eccentric weight attached to the spring which winds the watch with the reflexive movement of the wearer.

Imagine repurposing of the vibration component inside a mobile phone to use mechanism's eccentric weight to charge the divice by the reflexive movement of the user. I call it EcoReflexive. Walking, running, bouncing, basically any movement would deliver small amounts of charge to the battery.

Phone have ringers but when they're put on silent an eccentric weight is used to vibrate the phone allowing the user to be silently notified. Seeing that this component is only used when the phone is in silent mode and only then when it needs to notify the user, it has a lot of free time which could be repurposed to actively charge the device. This mechanism converts otherwise unused potential energy from movement into useable energy for a device.

The repurposing of this component would be extremely significant to the cellphone industry. A user would never have to worry that their device may run out of battery juice. This could also be a competitor to inductive charging aka changing mats. Place the device on a silent mirco-oscillating charing deck that charges the divice by movement. This would also work if a solar charging case manufacture would implement this as a secondary component.

Sign on, search and select your medication and what time (morning, noon, night). The company sorts your selection and mails you the individual packs. Changing pills is as easy as signing on and reselecting. This platform could also help people find the perfect times to take certain meds/vitamins and which ones to mix and match with for better absorption.
