Battle Of The Sexes Online Competition

Be sure to read all instructions and follow them exactly as you see here.

1) Create a Youtube video titled "I love the662". You may need to start a new Youtube account if you do not have one.

2) In your video tell the world why you love the662 in 30 seconds or less.

3) Once you have created your video, post it to the662 facebook wall to show that you have entered the contest. If you do not have a facebook account you can email a link to your youtube entry to troy@citychurchob.com.

4) This contest will have two parts:

a) The gender whose "I love the662" videos generate the most views by 4pm central standard time on Wednesday, February 8th will win the first competition for week 2. (So we will add up all the youtube views on all the guys videos and all the youtube views on all the girls videos to see who got the most). The winning gender will be announced that night.

b) The individual student whose "I love the662" video generates the most views by 12pm central standard time on Wednesday, February 29th will win a $100 Visa Gift Card AND the first Battle Of The Sexes competition for their gender for week 5. The winning student will be announced and awarded that night.

So, tell the world why you love the662, post the youtube link here, and start racking up those views. Good luck!

Join us for GO BIG, as the662 pulls out all the stops like never before. This first of it's kind 662 event will include:

* FREE Taco Bell for the first 125 students

* FREE Snow Cones

* A $50 drawing for all 9th-12th grade students in attendance

* A $50 drawing for all 6th-8th grade students in attendance

* An Inflatable Joust, complete with guys and girls tournaments ($25 prizes)

* An Inflatable Twister Game, with 6 lucky students entered into a post service Twister challenge

* Dunk A Pastor Tank, with Pastor Ricky the victim from 6-7pm. If we break 101 students, Pastor Troy will take a turn in the tank after service.

Back to school is coming fast, but the662 isn’t done having summer fun. Mark your calendars for Friday, July, 29^th as the662 will be heading to Geyser Falls Water Park just outside of Jackson, MS. With 13 water slides, a wave pool, lazy river, white sand beaches and more, Geyser Falls offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adrenaline to cap the summertime just right. General Admission Tickets are over $37, but we are getting a special group rate. Including transportation there, our price is just $25. But in order to get that rate, you must purchase your ticket in full no later than Wednesday, July 13. Here's the details:

When: Friday, July 29th. Meeting at CCOB at 7am, will return by 10pm.

Who: All middle and high school students from rising 6th graders to 2011 graduates

Where: Geyser Falls Water Park in Choctaw, MS

Why: Because you know you want to

Meals: Eat breakfast before you come and bring money for any food you want to purchase. No food or drink is included in the ticket price, and we will be eating lunch and dinner in the park. If you want to bring a cooler with a packed lunch you may do this but you will not be able to bring it into the park, it will have to stay at the vehicle and a group can go to the vehicles to eat together.

Attire: Normal 662 swimming dress code will apply. No 2-piece bathing suits will be allowed unless there is a dark colored t-shirt over the 2-piece. No exceptions.

Well we tried! :) But as they say, discretion is the better part of valor, and as much as we'd like to go all US Postal Service and deliver 662 goodness to you whether snow, or rain, or heat, or gloom of night, wisdom says let everyone stay home and be safe.

So we will not have service tonight. Battle of the Sexes will continue next week with the Physical Challenges. Stay tuned to the662.com tonight for a video message from the662, including the announcement of a special internet Battle of the Sexes event that will run tonight through Monday.

What an amazing Wednesday night we had this week! 63 students in attendance, and virtually all of them down front with their voices raised, hands lifted and/or on their faces before the Lord at the end of service. It's safe to say no rocks had to cry out on January 26th. :) So proud of our students.
