Once the dust settles and all the talking-heads start talk about the killer's background, so many are ADD. But what ever the struggle...they felt like "misfits." The issue of our values is a mystery to most people and especially distracted or driven ADDers. Know it or not, I pay attention to what I value. My thoughts, feelings, and focus are NOT determined by the conduct of the others or the circumstances of my life. My myopic view, moods, and misery all are determined by the values in my heart. And like me, many of us ADDers do not value ourselves as we should. Because of our need to "pass for normal" and "fit in" and "fake it," we have valued what others think of us. And so we pay attention to them, cater to them, please them, and to give our best to them. The wound in our hearts has made us worthless to ourselves.

After an update about Spirit of Hope and the office move, I'm uploading "The Force Be with You!" audiobook chapter 17 from "Born Loser or Leaders." We ADDers are mystics—intuitive, creative, ethereal, and spiritual w/ ideas, insights, inspiration, and solutions coming to us. Like Plato's Guardians, we have a mystical attribute and ability to be aware of and connect to spiritual realities. Carl Jung talked about this gift and even associated "pre-cognition" with it. Freud called Jung and people like us "spooky." Still, we ADDers have a sense of our citizenship and community with the spiritual dimension--it is where I belong and from where we get our creativity and unique gifts! Having said that..... sadly many ADDers who are "survivors" don't feel this way. Why? They never left the Ugly Duckling's Barnyard. They still have the loser, failure, disordered, deficit, CAN'T labels. They are still waiting for someone else to help them into the healing waters--waiting for the angel to stir the waters and throw them
in. They don't know that they can hear heaven whisper the secrets to their own heart...secrets that will release them, inspire them, give them insight for transformation and prosperity. Just ask.

A built in positive characteristic for ADDers is that rules don't apply! Before we can use our creativity and employ our new paradigms, we have to look beyond and set aside the current RULES! To set forth his general theory of relativity, Albert Einstein had to disregard the laws of Isaac Newton. That's why the paper which set forth Einstien's new standards for the universe began with the apology, "Forgive me, Newton!" As ADDers already know, this particular trait of ours can be good and also troublesome.

Even the most mild-mannered ADDer has an inner knowing that he was made for a special and unique purpose. And believe me not everyone feels this way, but we do!!!
