With apologies for the lack of content lately, here is a guest appearance that Carter recently had on the Engaging with Emerging Scholars podcast. This is a bit of a different topic that what The Affair's Current has evolved into, but, hope you find it interesting just the same.

Engaging with Emerging Scholars Guest Appearance

The podcast discusses a recent report on deliberating on different geopolitical orientations Canada could adopt towards the Indo-Pacific region given a host of uncertainties and stresses in global and regional balance and networks of political, economic and military power.

The report, co-written by the the podcast host Adam MacDonald and Carter, was published by the Conference of Defence Associations Institute and be accessed here.

The excellent studio debut of a live staple for the band. A highlight off their otherwise bloated album

2. Flat Tummy Tea - Freddie Gibbs & Madlib

Perhaps the best performance on an album filled with great contributions by Freddie and Madlib. More then any other track carries the minimalist sample focused production and transitions which Madlib excels at.

1. Not - Big Thief

The lead single off their second 2019 project, Not delivers on the promise for a rawer and more focused evolution of the mystical indie rock and folk Big Thief initially impressed with.
