April 14th the GHOSTBUSTERS soundtrack comes alive!

The Frenchtown-based rock trio will strap on their proverbial proton packs when they perform April 14 during a screening of “Ghostbusters” inside the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas in Bethlehem.

The performance is part of ArtsQuest’s “Soundtrack Comes Alive” series at SteelStacks. Tickets cost $13, and $10 for students, seniors and ArtsQuest members.

Berks County for Ron Paul 2012 Rally. Please come and share the evening with us Liberty Lovers. We will have signature petitions for delegates in Berks available. Live music that includes Dave Cahill and The Almighty Terrible’s, The Tank and Pokerface!!! Enjoy some fantastic tunes with great beer and food on the menu as always. In addition, we will also be celebrating the one and only Mike Salvi’s 34th birthday at this event. A voter registration drive will also be taking place. The Liberty Tap Room will be donating a portion of the events proceeds to the RON PAUL 2012 campaign.

Court Tavern Closes Indefinitely

Sad news out of New Brunswick. One of our favorite places, the Court Tavern, has closed down indefinitely. The historic venue has a long history and many great bands have come and gone through the place. We hope it returns soon.

NEW BRUNSWICK — The Court Tavern is closed indefinitely, owner Bobby Albert said on Wednesday.The venerable New Brunswick club was shut on Wednesday. Albert declined to comment further on the club’s closing when reached at his North Brunswick home.

There was no notice of its closing posted at the club at 124 Church St., its website or its Facebook page. Music promoter Andy “Diamond” De Nicolo said that he was not alerted of the club’s closing, nor did he known how the situation would affect upcoming shows scheduled there, including the high-profile concert by city punk legends Ensign on Friday.
