Heritage is reporting that the Attorneys General of Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, North Dakota, South Carolina, Texas and Washington state are investigating Ben Nelson&#39;s kickback to see if special treatment has been given to one state&amp;nbsp; at the expense of the others.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: large;&quot;&gt;Mandates Not in Congress&#39; Enumerated Powers:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also in Section 8 of the Constitution is the list of enumerated powers Congress holds, none of which include health care mandates or anything related to it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Former Chief Justice John Marshall stated, so America would hopefully never forget,: “The powers of the legislature are defined and limited; and that those limits may not be mistaken, or forgotten, the constitution is written.&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But there&#39;s more. They ignored us until votes were scheduled, making the dragging out impossible. Well played indeed. We responded, and we responded with force. A heavy blow was dealt and our enemy has yet to respond in kind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But that does not mean they no longer can, or don&#39;t intend to do so again. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After violence escalated in Afghanistan over the past year, Americans began to doubt our ability to succeed. The current President has decided to send 30,000 more troops to the country to fight the same breed of terrorists who killed 2,996 innocent men and women on September 11th. He has also stated that he intends to stop fighting the war in 2011. Therein lies the problem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;America has, beyond a doubt, the greatest military in the history of Earth. Our troops defeated a Japanese Empire that struck in a way similar to 9/11 - with surprise and malice. At that point in history we did not say that we would fight for 2 years and then submit to defeat if we had not succeeded and it is a mistake to do so today. We fought to the finish to defeat the perpetrators of a heinous act.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What America needs to succeed in the War in Afghanistan is not &quot;exit-ramps&quot; or &quot;end games&quot;. Our military needs the power to use the resources they need, in the manner they need them to destroy the threat our peaceful nation is facing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do not allow the Taliban and Al Qaeda to wait us out, Mr. President.
