On my way to office i came across this view of pigeons flying

haphazardly in all directions.

Although this view was not a new thing for me

but i tried my best to catch that wonderful moment through my

camera lens of my mobile.

In Delhi, its common to find such a large groups of pigeons along the roadside corners or in high tension lines or inside an ill fated old halls,mills etc etc. It is obvious that it feels good to see such flying creatures roaming freely in sky.

But being a power engineer i little bit hate these creatures. These are one of the most prominent reason of power outages.Their electrocution in transformers, overhead lines, cable ends etc leads to frequent supply tripping.

Alls well that ends well....

When no power outage then there is no need of power engineers. As they are dying so we Electrical Engineers are living.

Recently i came across the joy of buying things online. For giving a try i ordered books. One from the very global site ebay.in and the other on indian online book store flipkart.com.

So here is my review for this indian startup.

1. Website. The website www.flipkart.com is very simple by looks and very user friendly. The first time sign up form is too simple just asking for email id and password. Even searching and selecting the title for buying is very simple. One can add number of books in shopping cart and can pay for all in single turn. One can change the mailing address or can use one of the old one used. So no need to write the mailing address each time you buy a new book or other item.

Provides various online payment options of different banks.

2.Delivery. Flipkart really scores for its delivery timing. For each order one places they provide an estimated time of delivery like 2-3 business days etc. And they are true about their commitment.I got my order shipped to me within 24Hrs. They are using reputed courier services and their own delivery boys for shipping of products. They provide all the credentials for tracking the shipment.

As i am living in Delhi i got my consignment delivered by their Self Delivery System.

They provide free delivery for orders more than Rs100 otherwise Rs30 as delivery charge.

3.Value for Money. As far as the cost of book is concerned Flikart is providing great discounts on the printed price.I buyed a book with printed price Rs150 for just Rs105. And the very most important thing they delivered it to my house free of cost. So no need to go to shop. So one saves time,money and unnecessary wandering in book shops.

4.Books. The condition of book is very nice. They are providing genuine things in reasonable price. The packaging of book was excellent and it takes a lot of effort to take out the book out of that package. Earlier i thought the book would be of lower quality as they were giving such discounts but i was wrong and i am happy for that.

All and all i recommend others to give a try to Flipkart.com and i am sure you will love it.

How to Tie a Tie Knot or naughty Tie Knot.

Few days back i was just juggling with my old photos which i used in filling forms of different exams, applications, job etc etc.
I just compared different pics and was sorting out which one is best. No doubt i didn't got anyone but thought that i might have some good one if i have a pic with a neck tie. It may sound funny but it was one of my utmost desire to have a pic with a neck tie and of course with formal dressing.
Its not a bad thing to have such a desire but the problem was that i was a newbie in the field of tieing a neck tie.

It may sound hilarious but thats the fact.
Before that i was not having any experience of tieing a tie knot.
Why? Because
1) Neck Tie was not there in our School Dress (Kendriya Vidyalaya) or College Dress.
2) For facing interviews for job just hired someone else's tie.
3) Its not mandatory to have neck tie while on job in my place of work or office(BSES Delhi).

So i just searched in my bag and found an old (Purchased in 2009) but new tie(Packed New) and gave my own try of tieing a Tie Knot. And what we called in twitter term #fail.

So after that unsuccessful try, i just dropped the thought of having such photo.

But thanks to my inquisitive mind. I just did a google search. After 9-10 search i landed in a site which showed me how to Tie such Knots.

After this i just mingled with my red new tie and had my first pic with a neck tie.

Hello Friends,
At last got the time to post my first blog post. From the title you may think that i am going to promote any TV Program, but thats not true. Its about a fact which i came to know from a hawker(Thelawala). The incident took place few days back.I was coming from station and the rain started. So i took shelter in the shed of a thelawala(Hawker) near my school. I know that old man very well as i was a regular customer of him since childhood. He is that man who is selling cookies,peties,toffies etc since the inception of my school KV-NO-1 GCF Jabalpur. Meanwhile we started to discuss some topics about climate change , global warming , politics etc. It was a simple, general talk. When the topic came to Global Warming, the thought which he shared with me puzzled me a lot.
The thing which i came to know from him was

" The Sun is coming nearer to Earth day-by-day. That's why temperature is rising and we are getting rain in off seasons."

I really felt bad. Even in this age of communication we are not able to convey about global warming.
Infact we are not able to spread awareness about basic things.
But thanks to my basic knowledge about Global Warming, I explained it to him and many more nearer to him.
Some other things also i came to know i.e. End of earth by 2010 etc.
So what i believe, at least a day of month should be dedicated to awareness programs. Whether it is regarding to global warming or something else.

Believe it or not its true. Hoping for good thoughts and comments.
