Joy is the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying.

I personally feel joy often and I am thankful that it is a feeling that my children and husband can give me. However over the years I have found that God gives me this joy in the greatest form, after all he is the one who has blessed me with my husband and kids!

First off you see my husband is a huge chocaholic and well I'm the total opposite. They do say opposites attract. I came across a few recipes for 2 minute microwave cakes and thought what the hay - I'll try it for my love.

This week has been one that went by fast. Kevin went back to work this week and that got us back on our normal routine. When daddy is home we normally get side tracked because boys will be boys! Hey that's one of those perks to homeschooling - We make time for Daddy!

Homeschooling is hard on a family. A lot of homeschool families have one supporter. I know personally from my journey how hard it is to supply items for our family with just one income.

Over the 7 years I have homeschooled I have learned a lot about saving money. I want to share several with you. Hopefully it will give you some ideas and be helpful.

This week was a fun filled week with Daddy home! He has been on vacation and schooling hasn't been the normal stuff. The kids have learned a lot outside and with no textbooks!

Of course it's garden time. With Kevin being off you can be sure that we spent most of the week during the day planting and organizing seeds.

We mulched all the flower beds and found a new friend!

I found a new way to make an old classic and yes it made it even better!!!!

I honestly didn't change anything in the way I made the taco meat and seasonings. The change and new twist came in the way I prepared them to be served.

With 3 kids taco's are loved but they are messy! After you pile on the lettuce, cheese, onions and of course the meat! It's that awesome time of the year again to prepare for a garden. We have the greenhouse already growing things and we have planted new trees and bushes this year that will not produce anything until next year. This year is different than any other garden season for us because this is our home and we can finally do

F is for Free

We love stuffed peppers in our home, Lexi actually will beg for them the same way Zachary will beg for meatloaf.

So start with cleaning your peppers!

Kyle loves this dish and was glad to help get it going! I clean the inside and out and add the peppers to a pot with a rolling boil for 5 minutes. I then set them aside and add the veggies together to saute them (onion, garlic, butter)

E is for Education

So many people are so narrow minded when it comes to education. They believe that you can only educate a child with other children that are the same age. I however beg to differ.

Yes, I am a little different than most. I homeschool. That doesn't even mean that I think what I am doing is right for everyone.
