A reputed musician here in Portugal said: «the religion I hate the most is atheism! atheists are the bigger fanatics!» and he is right! I have been insulted by atheists over my beliefs…they say that the best for all religious people is to leave their beliefs behind. So: who asked for their advice anyway?! why don`t they mind their own business and let people think whatever they want! Most are not even real atheists; just mad at God, angry at Him for things that are not His fault!
They treat people who believe as beeing intelligently inferior and undeveloped..so: who are these “genious” who know all the misteries of the universe, and who do they think they are? to me their oppinion is just that a bitter and full of rage oppinion. Don`t “worry” about believers, don`t try to “save” us from the so called “ignorance”: we`re fine! happy in our “ignorance”…

I finally got this working after lots of hair pulling. I followed all steps above but I still got the unknown protocol error. However, the spotify links site I used was using javascript to link to the spotify:// links. When I tried a site that links normally to spotify:// links, it worked, then the javascript site started working. Hope this helps someone.

Very few Atheists can be deemed "Evangelical". I don't know of any Atheists that actually try and preach their thinking onto others, I merely know Atheists which teach. I for example, have never tried to force my nonbelief on other people. If someone bumps into me talking about science and a disregard for the supernatural, it will always be on websites like this one, which is meant for that sort of thing. I only do this on my own turf, so to speak, so Theists come to me not the other way around.

It's not like that at all. We are all for religious education. Parent's should be allowed to teach children the religion that they believe in. They just shouldn't be allowed to force that religion down the throats of their children, it's not democratic. If we Atheists were to force our non-belief on our children you would see it as "barbaric". We don't do that though, I don't know any Atheist who doesn't want their kids to choose for themselves…I don't know any Atheist that doesn't want their kids to be educated properly on these matters beforehand.

At the end of the day, nobody should have the big decisions as to what they believe is right and wrong made for them. Everyone should have the right to choose for themselves, when they are old enough to appreciate what's what. That is the message that most of us want to give out.

Wow, amazing! Dawkins actually debating! He must be tired of being called a chicken. He refused Stephen Meyer and Behe and many, many others. Maybe having a partner gives a false sense of security. It's nice anyone can comment on this blog, unlike Dawkins' blog with his lame pre-screening questions.
