I’m so into taking pictures, especially with baby G on the way, that I’m looking into registering for a class to help me get more accustomed to the features of my Cannon. I’m not sure about you, but currently when I take my camera with me (which is generally everywhere) I find myself placing it in my purse, however I get the feeling that’s not a cool option.

I know you appreciate style like I do, so I went on the search for a cute camera bag that any woman could appreciate and would feel proud to tote around while taking pictures. Target is known for having awesome collaborations…ok well borderline epic collaborations, so it’s no wonder there is another fab union–this time with dynamic husband-and-wife duo Sam and Libby Edelman.

The two are known for launching their sexy and sleek footwear back in the 80′s and for more than 30 years, the couple have created a fashion foot frenzy, most women have experienced at least once in their life.

Sam and Libby debuted an exclusive women’s collection, named Sam & Libby for Target at all Target stores on May 5th (2013), with an expanded assortment at Target.com.

The infamous selfie! I couldn’t resist. As summer is quickly approaching I’m on the search for new office space to accommodate my interns, so I found the perfect location and I was off for a quick tour. Keeping my fingers crossed that all will work out. I like my home office, but I need a little stimulation outside of my home. 

So about the blogger that saved my life. Didn’t really happen, but I wondered over to JCPenney for no apparent reason but to see what they’ve been up to lately, and I was completely blown away. I’m obsessed with everything! I snagged the MNG by Mango tee you see in the picture from JCPenney for 10 bucks!

I like to think every now and again I save lives! Ha!

The Lexus name is surely synonymous with style! I took the 2013 ES Hybrid for a spin, the first hybrid i’ve ever driven, and the ride set the bar of expectation high for any other hybrid in its class.

From the push start button to the dynamic infotainment system that acts as your personal concierge and entertainment center while cruising, a week driving around Georgia seemed like a short lived adventure.

You may remember me telling you about the 2013 B. FAB Awards here. Lexus made good on their promise to award the winner of the style blazer category a chance to experience what all the excitement is about. I shadowed the winner, Atlanta style blogger Sir Garde, around town for a day to find out how the Lexus brand fit into his style world.

I’d never thought I’d wear a tutu past the age of maybe 10, when I was dancing, but it’s a trend I had to try. It’s something about tulle I’m absolutely obsessed with! I found my tutu at Bridge Boutique in Virginia Highlands (Atlanta) for $42…beats the one I was trying to talk myself into at Anthropologie for $118.  

Tutu’s have great versatility. You can dress a tutu up or down. In my case I was headed to church so I paired mine with a chambray (Target), Zara ankle straps and doubled up on the arm candy. The key for adults wearing tutus is balance. You don’t want to look like a ballerina so cut some of the cuteness your tutu is giving with any of the following: demin, sweaters, a blazer (I like this if you are wearing a shorter tutu), bold accessories, pumps, cowboy boots or sneakers.

Lastly, to pull of the tutu as an adult, you must possess confidence. You better walk and own the look, because people will look at you like what the—but as long as you own the look you’re just another trend gone right!

I don’t know one girly girl that wouldn’t want to get her freshly manicured hands on their favorite designers hand bag, shoes, accessories or outfit. What most of us have in common is we’re not willing to blow our life savings to look fabulous.

I’m all about that fashion on a dime life and agree that you don’t have to spend a lot to look great, but hey I’d like to strut my stuff in a pair of Louboutin pumps just like the next girl. So you know this Go-To-Girl had to find a way or make one.

It’s really not a secret, but if you want to shop like you spent a million bucks, check out sample sales. Atlanta shoppers aren’t that exposed to gooood sample sales like New York shoppers are, but if you’re serious about getting in on the goods you’ll love this option. You can’t been getting in on up to 80% off on retail prices.

You’ll have to do a little homework on upcoming sample sales in your area, but to get you started check out two of my favorite sites, 260SampleSale and Clothingline that are awesome with keeping you in the know by signing up for their email distribution list. Note both companies host sales based in New York. May be an excuse to take a short vacation!

It’s so incredibly awesome how God knows us before he formed us in our mother’s womb. That’s a lot to chew on right there!

So, no I didn’t get rid of my husband, I love him too much for that! I did however, find out that Baby G is a Baby Boy! We are all so happy about this wonderful news and I can not wait to finally meet this little fella.

Remember when I told you all that I’d be putting my baby bump on the runway at Baby Bash & Bling? Well everything turned out awesome! Baby G and I rocked the runway in a Marigold colored dress by Jody Davis Couture. Check out more pictures.

Ironically, this was the first baby expo i’ve attend, although this is my third child. There are so many new products on the market, and I was so glad to learn about many of them at the expo. My daughter Mckenzie enough rocked the runway in the kids runway show for My Bougie Baby!

I have to thank Baby Bash & Bling creator Monica Byrd, designer Jody Davis, photographer Phelan Marc and the K. Nicole glam squad for making the experience incredibly pleasurable (Not enough to do this pregnacy thing again for the fourth time…lol).

This past weekend (Sunday March 24th) over 200 bloggers, media and sponsors gathered at Ambient Studios in Southwest Atlanta for the first formal awards ceremony celebrating bloggers in fashion and beauty.

I imagined in my head what I wanted the day to consist of, but what actually happened far exceeded my expectations. B. Moore events helped transform the 10,000 square foot venue into an exciting social experience for what I consider the hardest working new media in town!

As guests arrived and stepped off the red carpet, they immediately began to socialize with their fellow bloggers, and tested out the 4 sided glass Social Box to take silly pictures and record video that immediately posted to their facebook pages.

NDLE Group prepared over 10 scrumptious brunch items and I would say my favorite was the Polenta infused with Manchego Cheese topped with Chorizo and the grilled seasoned chicken skewers–Yum!

Lexus was the sponsor of the ‘Lexus Style Blazer Award’ and awarded the winner Sir Garde with a 2013 Lexus ES 300 hybrid vehicle to drive around Atlanta for one week. How cool is that!

All of our sponsors were incredible! Our title sponsor Basic Hair Care created the ultimate lounge for guests that included a champagne fountain, Motives by La La were hand for product demonstrations and mini makeovers, Key Essentials Hair styled all of our models for our designer showcase, Makeup Artists Kristina Ross and Keka Heron made all of our models beautiful, and Miss Jessie’s, Beautiful Textures, Eden Bodyworks, C4 Belts, Sydelle Cosmetics, Cake Cafe, Treat Me Bath and Body and Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy and Q-Redew sent everyone home with lots of goodies in their swag bags.

When you’re pregnant, every milestone is a celebration that you want to share with those closest to you. In a couple of weeks, providing that Baby G feels like it, we’ll know what we’ll be welcoming into this world.

My husband and two kids have been making a list of baby names and trying to find the “right’ combination of a name that sounds appealing and I think we narrowed it down to something very unique. How exciting…right? Wrong! The first person I wanted to tell about our unique name was my mom. I couldn’t wait to hear what she thought (kind of).

When I revealed the name to my mom, she immediately tore it apart and said she hated the name! Although I laughed and told her I’m sorry she hates it so much, I was really disappointed that she would react so insensitive about MY child’s possible new name.

My mom has always tried to name my children, but I haven’t been interested in any of her choices and I somehow think she’s hating on me just a little, or is she hurt because I’m not allowing her to name my child once again?

Am I being too insensitive? Should you keep your unborn child’s name to yourself until the ink drys on the birth certificate? What’s the deal? Have you had an issue like this? How did you handle it?
