"Chinese knot is an ancient art form dating back to Tang and Song Dynasties, maybe even earlier. Culturally, they are expected to ward off evil spirits and act as good-luck charms. There are 12 basic knots, and by mixing them cleverly, you will get all the advanced knots and fabulous results. One major characteristic of this decorative knotwork is that all the knots are tied using one thread! Many types of thread can be used, however, satin or silk cord is the most common. Threads can come in a variety of colors, though the most commonly used is red, because red symbolizes good luck and prosperity.

Peter Shankman, creator of HARO, has created a new list. Its the HARO Gift Bag Product list! A great list for those of you who sell/create a product! Here is the information from Peter's site:

"This page allows you to sign up for the Gift Bag Product Page only, a completely separate list from the Help A Reporter Out list. The Gift Bag Product Request list is sent out only a few times a week, with requests from groups producing events, auctions, charity events, celebrity events, and the like. They ask for products to fill their gift bags, and if you make any product, or work for any company that does, this is a good list to be on, as well. Very low traffic, with only one or two emails a week being sent.

My Abba Dabba Bag

Have you been to the website Etsy? Its a place to buy all things handmade. You'd be surprised at what you can find on there. There are lots of beautiful things!

One of my favorite finds is the Abba Dabba Bags shop. She makes gorgeous bags of many different sizes out of designer fabrics. I am loving the Amy Butler line of fabrics and she uses a lot of them! I fell in love with the Amy Butler Ivory and Orange Bright Buds fabric and she makes a nice cosmetic bag with it. The bag itself wasn't exactly the right size for what I was looking for. So I requested a custom design! I told her what I wanted with the right dimensions and she created a bag especially for me! Its the perfect size for my needs and its in the fabric of my choice! It doesn't get any more perfect than that!

Take a peek at her shop...she's got a lot of great items listed! Take a look at the cosmetic bags, wristlets and key fobs. Any or all of them would look great inside The Confidente!
