Back 40 Taking a Break

For those of you who have listened to our podcast over the past few months we would like to thank you. We will no longer be doing the Back 40 podcast regularly but have decided to put our energies into a new podcast devoted to Reaper called Reapercast. We have decided it will be best to put our energy toward one show instead of four. Plus there are numerous podcasts for Smallville, Supernatural and Scrubs but none solely devoted to Reaper that we have found. You will be able to find our official web site at www.reapercast.com. Episode 17: The Leak

Seventeen down, one to go in the first season of Reaper.
The Devil is furious when he realizes that the latest captured soul keeps escaping.
He assumes there is a leak in Hell, and vows to stop at nothing until the problem is fixed.
The Mole is later revealed, and the greatest twist of the first season is uncovered.

Episode 16: Fairytale Ending

Episode 15: Goodbye, Bella

It's episode 15, and the Back 40 boys mourn the apparent loss of the best relic thief on television.
There were some startling developments on Supernatural Thursday night, including the revelation of the demon who holds Dean's contract.
As the season speeds toward conclusion, Jerad and Casey discuss the happenings and consequences of the latest Winchester adventure and sadly say, "Goodbye, Bella".

Episode 14: Unlocking the Clock

In this episode of the podcast, Jerad and Casey recap Smallville's 19th episode, "Quest".
It's a race between Clark and Lex, and the winner determines the fate of mankind.
A special clock was commissioned by the members of Veritas to hold the secret of controlling the traveler, and unlocking the clock would place the secret in Lex's hands.
As Clark races to stop him, he bumps into the Last surviving member of Veritas, and almost gets caught on the wrong end of a human sacrifice.

Episode 13: Up the Creek Without a Vessel

The events of Tuesday's episode of Reaper seem strange to the rest of us, but it was just another day at the office for Sam, who found himself in a struggle with a chainsaw-toting, mask-wearing villain.
The Devil did throw in one twist, though.
He sent Sam up the creek without a vessel.
The Reaper is forced to take matters in his own hands and save the woman he loves, Ben is forced to lay down the law on his green card marriage, Sock is left with a huge repair shop bill and we are left with one fast-paced episode until the shocking season finale of Reaper.

Episode 12: Battle of the Braintrust

The Back 40 tackles a huge episode of Scrubs.
Dr. Cox is named interim chief of medicine after the resignation of Dr. Kelso, and Carla decides she wants another baby while Turk has second thoughts.
The Janitor tells Ted he needs to stand up for himself, and Ted takes his advice-much to the surprise of everyone at the hospital.
J.D. and Elliot change the course of their friendship after spending the day together.
The Braintrust is torn apart by two different points of view, and the Janitor doesn't know what to do with "new Ted".
Can Sacred Heart survive the Battle of the Braintrust?

Episode 11: Creepy Callers

Sam and Dean find themsleves in a very strange situation when they drive to Milan, Ohio to investigate another strange death.
After talking with the townsfolk, the boys discover residents have been recieving calls from deceased loved ones via a century-old phone number.
Soon after arriving, Dean begins receiving phone calls from someone very close to him.
The source tells Dean there's a way to break the contract that will send him to Hell, and he is eager to try his luck.
Can Dean's deal be broken, or is this another case of the Creepy Callers?

Episode 10: Mr. Kent Goes to Krypton

This episode was almost too good for words, but Jerad and Casey talked about it anyway.
Check out what happens when a mild-mannered Kansas farmboy/reporter is thrown into an alternate universe where he doesn't exist, tries to stop a nuclear war, and is shot by his greatest enemy-the president.
And, if that's not enough, he's in a race against time to stop an evil computerized mastermind from changing the course of history and ushering in the Apocalypse.
Oh, and there are a couple of moments between Clark and a certain future Pulitzer winner that give us a glimpse at what lies ahead for the soon-to-be Man of Steel.
So hold on to your grossly-oversized glasses, it's gonna be a wild ride when Mr. Kent Goes to Krypton.

Help Rescue Reaper!

Imagine Tuesday night television without a Reaper to put those dastardly escaped souls back in their rightful place.
It would be a nightmare.
Well, it looks like that nightmare may soon be a sad reality.
Reaper is yet to be picked up for a second season on the CW, and is on the Los Angeles Times list of "on the bubble" television shows.
The Reaper himself, Bret Harrison, has devised a plan help the show avoid cancellation.
Harrison is using his Web site, www.krakoom.com, to rally support for the show.
Harrison asks fans to send socks (in honor of Sock, of course) to CW execs and make it known that Reaper needs to stick around.
Check out the Web site for the address and do your part to make sure Reaper's future isn't grim.

Episode 8: Boring Boon

Episode 7: Rough Reality

After the horrifying ordeal, the "Ghostfacers" learned a hard lesson Sam and Dean have known all along: The Supernatural is not something to take lightly.

Episode 6: Double Oh Boy

Jimmy becomes agent Double Oh Boy when he is ordered to help the Department of Security nab Chloe for hacking into government files.
Clark frets over Lana and forgets about Lex-who is drawing closer to the box in Zurich-all while still trying to locate Kara and Brainiac.
In spite of some startling revalations concerning Kara's whereabouts and Clark's new set of out-of-this-world problems, "Sleeper" managed to live up to its name.

Episode 5: Opperation Overthrow

Steve, Tony and the rest of the "Demon Underground" plot to overthrow the Devil.
The demons follow Steve's pacifist plan to kill the Devil with kindness until it fails to yeild results, and they lose patience.
Tony then pipes up with a "foolproof" plan to stab Satan with the Sword of the Archangel, but the plan backfires and the demons suffer the consequences.
Sam's dream comes true when Andi realizes the two have been wasting time and finally agrees to go on a date with him, but the dream is put on hold when Sam gets caught in the middle of Opperation Overthrow.

Episode 4: Losing Lamont
