Successful Community Outreach Program at Brgy. Macopa, Laak, Davao De Oro

The 2020 Realty conducted a Community Outreach program last March 12, 2025 at Brgy. Macopa, Laak, Davao De Oro. The activity aims to provide support to the Pupils by giving them school kits.

We reached in Brgy. Macopa, Laak at around 10am and greeted by the Brgy Captain and officials. We immediately prepared our school kits and food for the kids and parents. In an open space / covered court near the community’s barangay hall, children patiently sat as they anticipated for the school kits, food and parlor games.

Kuya Jholo, Ate Sharra and Ate Roshelle who were facilitated the program and conduct of parlor games while others were assisted of the distribution of School Kits and Food to more or less 150 pupils of Brgy. Macopa.

Children clapped their hands, stamped their feet, and raised their fists as they chanted these words. THANK YOU, 2020 REALTY. Everyone was all smiles.

The time and effort may be tiring, but it is very fulfilling to see the Kids, teachers and their parents so happy,' says Madam Kapitana.

We would like to thank you to the Brgy. Macopa officials for their support nga binigay nila, sa pag set up sa venue.

Lastly, Thank you 2020 Realty, Staffs and Agents especially to Maam Bhyng, Sir Je, Maam Mikay and Sir Alex. Sana hindi kayo magsawang tumulong at mag organize ng ganitong event.

Exploring Singapore -Malaysia with 2020 Realty

I had the opportunity to visit and explore Singapore and Malaysia through 2020 Realty. I am very grateful and happy I have gained new knowledge and experience.

So, we met up at Davao airport and had quick dinner and took some photos and immediately proceed to gate bound to Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 via Philippine Airline and thank God walang delay jud and we reached around 12:30 am and proceed to Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 bound to Singapore. Before headed to the Immigration, mostly our group were first time traveling abroad and they're really felt nervous, sa dami pa namang kwentong Immigration na nababalita at nababasa sa socmed ahhahhaha. Of course, kinakabahan naman ako pero mas grabe sila kasi nga first time sila baka ma offload sa Immigration. So isa-isa kaming pumila sa Interview yun, and Thank God lahat kami pumasa at nakaginhawa ng maayos kahit yung iba natagalan dahil sa mga questions and YES we made it!

We reached Singapore Changi Airport around 10 am and took some photos, kitang-kita talaga sa mga mata namin na were really excited sa magaganap sa travel na to.

First, we visited the Jewel Changi Airport. A true wonder of modern architecture and design. From its iconic indoor waterfall to the vast array of shops and restaurants, Jewel offers visitors an experience like no other. The building's stunning dome-shaped facade, the verdant indoor forest adds a touch of nature to the airport. After 30 minutes, we went to our Accommodation Rucksack Inn located at Temple Street in Chinatown. We had a quick lunch and then proceed to next destination, the Chinatown, city tour at the Merlion, Esplanade, and Marina Bay. we just walked through CBD until we reached at the Merlion around 5pm. I was excited to see the iconic statue, and I wasn't disappointed. The Merlion is a truly impressive sight, and it's easy to see why it's become such a popular tourist destination.

It is also within walking distance of other popular attractions such as the Esplanade, Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore Flyer.

After taking some pictures, we decided to explore the park a bit more. There's a small waterfront promenade that offers stunning views of the Marina Bay skyline. We walked along the promenade for a while, enjoying the views.

We went to Marina Bay Sands and roaming around, took some photos before we went home.

DAY 2: Exploring Singapore-Malaysia - Sentosa (Universal Studio and Palawan Beach/Siloso Beach.

We woke up early and excited ahhahhaha sino ba naman ang hindi ma excite kay Universal Studio, hindi ko akalain na makakapunta ako dito. Dahil sa excited mali ang pinasok ni Maam Rosalyn sa train access instead Sentosa Train Ticket yung EZlink ang pinasok hahahahah excited kasi masyado.

The Battlestar Galactica

Universal Studios is a great day out for both adults and children. The Battlestar Galactica dueling roller coasters (human and cyclon) were the high point for me - very fast and very terrifying, with high-speed drops, upside down moments and a lot of cork screwing.

The Transformers 3-D ride is also incredible. In the Transformers ride you really feel that you are in the movie; the virtual reality is incredible, with precipitous plunges, missile strikes, mist and robotic voices to set the heart racing. These attractions are reason enough to visit.

Revenge of the Mummy

If you're a thrill-seeker looking for an adrenaline rush, you definitely wouldn't want to miss Revenge of the Mummy! You'll be transported back in time to Ancient Egypt where flying scarab beetles, warrior mummies, and pitch darkness are the norm. You heard that right! It's completely dark inside, so you won't be able to see any of the turns or drops coming. This attraction has it all: it’s an exciting high-speed roller coaster, an audio-visual experience, and a haunted house that will surely leave you breathless. Infact, Jay almost fainted kunti nalang baka himatayin na sa takot, so ayun ayaw na nya sumakay sa mga rides.

Shrek 4-D Adventure

Dive deep into a fairytale adventure with our favorite ogre, Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona, and the rest of the Far Far Away gang through Shrek 4-D Adventure! Not only will the animations seem to pop out of the screen, but you'll also experience splashes of water and gusts of wind that will make you feel as if you were a part of their story itself. Pero Jhomar got bored, so he felt asleep and snored.... hahahhhaha

Canopy Flyer

Where here you get a stunning pterodactyl’s-eye view of the entire Jurassic Park area. it's still family-friendly so even smaller kids can join in on the fun! By the way, there are two different ways that you can enjoy the view depending on which seat you choose: the front or the back. Both offer equally amazing sights so you're sure to enjoy either way.

Hindi kami magpapaawat ni Maam Sharra and Jhomar, talagang wla kaming inaatrasan kahit lilipad pa aming mga kaluluwa hahahhahaha. Yes, especially dun sa The Battlestar Galactica and Mummy talagang nakakatakot at nakakaba pati kaluluwa mo mapapahiwalay sa katawang lupa mo. hahhahaha

After namin mag Universal Studio we had quick visit sa Palawan Beach/Siloso para mag pahangin saglit before we took our dinner and going home.

DAY 3: Exploring Singapore-Malaysia- Malaysia (Legoland and Outlet in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We rented Van for this activity, and we met Peter, the driver, the love of my life of Sir Jhomar ...charoootttt!

Dumating and Van around 9am and start namin byahe pa Malaysia. At natagalan kami sa Immigration ng Singapore dahil si Maam Precy, namali nya yung pag insert sa passport nya sa Kiosk Machine imbes Personal Info ang cover page na si Agila ang pinasok kaya nag error hahahhahahaha tinawanan nalang yung mga nangyari. We had lunch at Malaysian Resto before we headed to Legoland.

We’ve never been to a Legoland though and I was quite intrigued by the prospect. Would it just be like an amusement park? Would it be like Disneyland? How would Lego actually feature?

The short answer to this is everywhere – there is Lego everywhere. The attractions all have some type of Lego theming and there are plenty of opportunities to spend lots of time building different Lego structures. There are a whole land of Lego structures and people and sprinkled across the park, there are Lego buildings, animals, dragons, people, you name it. They often make sounds as well, and it was fun discovering them all as we walked around. Even if you aren’t a Lego fan, you are going to be impressed by the Lego structures in this park.

Ignoring the Lego for a moment though, Legoland is also a well-constructed, very fun theme park. There are rides, shows and attractions. Plenty to do for all ages and it’s just a lot of good fun. Right Maam Sharra, Sir Jhomar and Maam Precy? hahahahah bilib talaga ako kay maam Precy wlang takot....LOrrrrrrrdddddd,Maaaaammmmmaaaaa...these words I heard ni Maam Sharra and Maam Precy. I never heard Sir Jhomar screaming hahahhahhahah

After Legoland , we went to Oulet para mag shopping and dinner at Connor's Stout Porter tapos uwi na.

DAY 4: LAST DAY IN SINGAPORE

After namin mag ayos ng mga bagahe para umuwi na sa Pipinas :( We had a quick City Tour, eating famous ice cream at Orchard and bought some pasalubong in Little India before going to the airport.

KADAYAWAN is a festivity of life and thanksgiving for the plentiful gifts of nature and peaceful living. It derives from the pleasant Dabawenyo greeting, "Madayaw". Dayaw means good, precious, and beautiful. So, if Madayaw is an adjective , Kadayawan is a nown, as in goodness or honesty.

It's official! Announced just a few minutes ago, Miss Earth Korea native is Miss Earth 2022. Beating out 86 beautiful Eco-Warriors, she just made history as the first-ever Korean to hold the title. The annual pageant, held locally once again for the fifth time in a row, was staged at the Cove Manila in Okada.

The annual environmental-themed beauty pageant on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 crowned Miss Korea as this year’s titleholder while three others were crowned as runner-ups through the elemental titles Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Fire and Miss Earth Water.

Celeste Cortesi will represent the country at the 2022 Miss Universe pageant in December.

Celeste Cortesi of Pasay was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 during the live coronation night held Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

This year’s edition started with more than 100 candidates, before they were gradually eliminated through a series of challenges. Only the top 31 candidates were chosen to compete live and in-person during the the coronation night.

Four other women were crowned. The winners of the other titles are:

Jonel Gallaza and Jhane Eyre Marie Olmedo graduated Magna Cum Laude from Leyte Normal University and are both topnotchers of the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).

Jhane Eyre Olmedo was Top 3 for 2022 LET Board Exam with a rating of 92.40%, while Jonel Gallaza was Top 8 during the 2019 LET board exam with a rating of 91%.

Carlos Yulo Wins Vault Gold Medal at Gymnastics World Championships

Carlos Yulo stowed the gold medal at the men's vault championship because of his execution of the Kasamatsu twofold twist and a Dragulescu—which is considered as probably the hardest element that should be possible on the vault. After his performance Yulo was scored an average of 14.916, which outperformed Japan's Yonekura Hidenobu, who positioned second with a nearby score of 14.866. This is Yulo's first vault decoration at the World's Gymnastics Championship.

Carlos Edriel Yulo (born February 16, 2000) is a Filipino artistic gymnast who has won multiple medals at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He is the first Filipino and the first male Southeast Asian gymnast to win in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with his floor exercise bronze medal finish in 2018, and the first ever gold medal for the Philippines in 2019 on the same apparatus. This performance also qualified him to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Araw ng Dabaw, which literally means "Davao Day," is a month-long celebration of the founding of the city with trade fairs, colorful socio-civic and parades along the main streets of the city, cultural presentations of the various ethnic tribes in Davao City, sports competitions, and fireworks display.

Strawberry Picking in Jagna, Bohol

Do you want some strawberries but can't afford to fly to Baguio. You need not to go to Baguio to experience picking strawberries from the farm.

You can have it now at Bohol's Organic and Strawberry Farm located in Mayana, Jagna, Bohol. These strawberries can also be found in some other places in Bohol particularly in higher places that has cold temperatures.

They have a 10 pesos entrance where you can also see other organic vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, pepper and etc but have to pay on what you had harvested.

HOW TO GET THERE
It takes around 2 hours from City of Tagbilaran to get in touch the town of Jagna, Bohol. If you wish to travel own your own, from Tagbilaran City you may head to integrated bus station (Dao) and catch a bus going to Jagna.

From the town proper, you can ride a habal habal, for 60 pesos/person. Mayana is located 18kms from the town of Jagna.

2020 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition Schedule

In light of the recent threat of the n-CoV in our country, the regular schedule for the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (February-March) will be moved.

The 11th Philippine International PyroMusical Competition 2020 it is held once a year, in Manila the capital of the Philippine.The event usually held at the Seaside Boulevard, SM Mall of Asia.

Pyromusical is an international fireworks competition and one of the biggest and much awaited fireworks competitions participating fireworks companies from around the world. Two countries take part in the show, every Saturday night over a six week period from the beginning of February.

RANIAG is an Ilocano word means light, which connotes the light that Biguenos offer to the Lord in thanksgiving, the beacon that symbolizes the love for their departed kin, and the warmth of the bonding renewed in reunions held during 'Todos Los Santos'. Raniag: The Vigan Twilight Festival is a bright, joyful and colorful experience of street dancing, sky lanterns,and candle floaters.

The Raniag Twilight Festival is actually a series of activities and it is a week-long celebration prior to All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day.

How to get there

I suggest, take the early morning at Partas Bus. I had taken the Partas bus from Manila - it left at 6:30 am and reached Vigan at 2 pm (approx. 8 hours). It was comfortable, fast, aircon and had adequate breaks for rest rooms.

For our return journey, our bus left Vigan at 10:30 am and reached Manila around 9 pm.

To get there one must charter a "Habal-Habal" going to Brgy. Cagawasan.

A few meters from NIA Office, turn left to the first road. From there, one will see a marker, which welcomes motorists to Barangay Cagawasan for a 5-minute drive to the farm.

I’ve been hearing about Pares Retiro for quite some time so we decided to make a quick trip to Cubao, Quezon City and give it a try and see what they have to offer.

Pares which literally means pair is an original Filipino dish. It is a combination of beef stew with garlic rice pared with a bowl of soup.

For this trip, I ordered Classic Pares and Spicy Bone Marrow.

Spicy Bone Marrow

Wow! talaga sa sarap ang Spicy Bone Marrow sa Pares Retiro. Putok batok na tiyak mapapa extra rice ka sa sarap.

The Classic Pares was full of actual meat with some tendons and ligaments added in for flavor. It was slightly sweet and it was pretty good while the garlic rice had that good toasted garlic flavor.

The place is not air conditioned but it does have serveral electric fan and an industrial size fan, but it's okay since they offer bestfood that is right on the budget. The service is also good. Another good thing is that they are open until morning. Pares Retiro should be one of your choices when looking for a place to dine in Cubao.
