Lanni has come back to us because he started mutilating again. We do not know the exact reason as to why but he has had surgery again. He has recovered from the surgery and is completely healed physically and his feather have started to come back in again. We will be working with him again to get him trusting people again.

His rehab will take some time but I am sure we can get him back to where he was when he left here the first time. As you can see we had to put him in a ball collar and breast plate to prevent him from mutilating until we can break the habit again.

Update: Lanni has a new family that will be working with us to help him. They will be taking him home soon and continue the rehab work there. They are located very close to us so we will continue to be involved in the rehab process until he is well adjusted to his new family.
