It is just a 10 min walk along the beach to the famous historical   Jumba la Mtwana Slave Ruins and 15 min walk , 3 min drive to Mtwapa a young   and hip party town.&lt;br /&gt;

THE BEACH AFRICA- Is an unbelievable place. You just have to see it to   believe it! Comfortable Chill-out and Reggae music fills the air and the   ocean surrounds guests as they relax while enjoying nature’s gifts. The beach cabins and tree houses are very cozy &amp;amp; comfortable built in a unique   African style and offer a double bed incl. mosquito net and paraffin lamp.   Karibu (Welcome) as we say here in Kenya for everyone at anytime who wants to   relax and break out normal wheel, while enjoying the true beach life as a   beach bum. At 12 euro per night per house or you can rent/ pitch your tent   for 250 ksh ( 2.5 Euro) or get a Dorm Bed for 4 Euro or a Treehouse Bed for 500 KSH. We are surrounded by   excellent diving spots, Wind/ kite Surfing Spots and we offer fishing trips,   dolphin dives and safari bookings. English, German &amp;amp; Spanish translators   are on site.&lt;br /&gt;

Proper directions to the Place are: take   the Mombasa-Malindi main road until you get to the Kenol petrol station in   Mtwapa. Take a right at the Kenol petrol Station, straight down to Maweni   Beach. Follow the orange signboards written BEACH BAR on it. Our Volunteers did a great job in only 3 weeks: created a information path to the Turtle Nesting site, did beach clean ups, fixed the fence for the school, planted over 300 Mangrove seedlings, helped digging ponds for crab farming, supported the teacher at the community school, held a sucessful meeting with the community women about the importanct of child education, planted seedlings for the school fence hedge, planted palm trees, didvisits in community homes, nursed 3 little orphan kittens and so much more..job well done&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;The Beach Africa Backpackers Hostel and Boutique Restaurant offers  funky budget accomodation in an natural scenic environment on the Waterfront. It is a family owned business and the owners are extremely wonderful, friendly and welcoming to all guests. The Beach is surrounded by a local fisherman's village. Fresh seafood is available daily and its is cooked the local way on firewood which gives the famous taste of the area. It is the only place where you can grill on your own or you can let the chef do the tasty local BBQ for you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;THE BEACH - Bar, Restaurant &amp;amp; Camp Lodge is a very unique place at the waterfront, overseeing the Indian Ocean and it is located at the entrance of the famous Mtwapa Creek water channel. It is a perfect location for wanderers, travellers and adventure seekers. This is the last hidden paradise, a haven surrounded by a local fisherman´s village and it is just a 10 min walk along the beach to the famous historical Jumba la Mtwana Slave Ruins.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;THE BEACH - Is an unbelievable place. You just have to see it to believe it! The local bongo or reggae flava fills the air and the ocean surrounds guests as they relax while enjoying natures gifts. The bandas are very cozy &amp;amp; comfortable houses built african safari style and offer a double bed incl. mosquito net and parafinlamp. Karibu (Welcome) as we say here in Kenya for everyone at anytime who wants to relax while enjoying the true beach life as a beach bum. At 8 to 10 euro per night per house you can also pitch a tent for 500 ksh ( 5 Euro). We are surrounded by excellent diving spots and we offer fishing trips, dolphin dives and safari bookings. English, German &amp;amp; Spanish translaters are on site.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;THE BEACH - Only a 20 min drive from mombasa airport, the Beach is located in Mtwapa. A very hip and young town with many shopping facilities, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Proper directions to the Beach - Bar, Restaurant &amp;amp; Camp Lodge are: take the Mombasa-Malindi mainroad until you get to the Kenol petrol station in Mtwapa. Take a right at the Kenol petrol Station, straight down to Maweni Beach. Follow the orange signboards written BEACH BAR on it.
