As if young girls didn’t already have enough to worry about, MGA Entertainment has come out with a new line of fashion dolls for “aspiring Rachel Zoe’s” – you may recall the brand’s Bratz dolls were pulled off shelves last year after a lawsuit with Mattel, and the new Moxie Girlz are set to take their place.

Dutch model Lara Stone is on the cover of British Vogue’s December issue, and tells the mag she’s an alcoholic – she spent a month in rehab earlier this year and claims the last six months have been “the best of her life.” She also admits that she’s totally human and worries about her weight – but then eats pizza. Love her.

I love when green designers start getting the recognition they deserve, which is why I’m all over shopflick’s greenminded section on their website. Emmanuel Ungaro may have left his fashion house in 2005 – but that doesn’t mean he’s not disappointed about Lindsay Lohan’s appointment as “artistic advisor.” In not so many words, he says Lohan is causing the company to “lose it’s soul” – ouch, Linds.

Jason Wu (who became famous thanks to a one Mobama) will be lending his skills to knitwear brand Tse this season. He’ll design a 15 piece capsule collection that will show in Fall 2010. Wu’s collaboration with the brand gives him an opportunity to do something totally different than his namesake line, which, he claims, is why he went for it.

Club Monaco has hired Ligia Dias, who designed baubles for Lanvin for years before starting her own line in 2005, to downtown-ize their basics with her funky jewelry. Dias mixed rope with pearls, and the results are like an earthy version of Tom Binns.

My computer is on the fritz, Beanies, so this column is being transcribed from an arcane mode of communication that has given many an action movie villain his comeuppance: Morse code. I always pull for the bad guys because of their witty repartee and flashy outfits, but their cunning always ends with cutting the power and phone lines and them thinking they’ve isolated the hostages from the outside world. Don’t they know there’s ALWAYS a World War II vet who knows how to strategically flicker the lights? (That’s my little nod to Veteran’s Day and forced patriotism.)

So, I hate to pile on this broad, but who tries to walk out on Larry King? As Sarah reported last week, Carrie Prejean, the former Miss California who has been deified by the religious right for standing up to Perez Hilton on the issue of gay marriage, took the Miss California Pageant organization to court after they stripped her of her title because she skipped events and thereby failed to fulfill the obligations of Miss California. Well, she ended up settling for a whopping ZERO dollars after a sex tape—actually, a masturbation tape—turned up during the hearing. That was last week. Fast forward to last night: Larry King being Larry King asked Prejean what motivated the settlement—not the terms of it—and the question nearly caused poor Carrie’s head to explode. Not understanding the nuances of the English language, Carrie says she’s not allowed to talk about what was in the settlement and tells Larry he’s being “inappropriate.” After explaining that he’s not concerned with the details of the settlement, just her rationale for taking it, she takes off her microphone and starts to storm out, but then just sits there in silence. I want to liken Prejean to my nine year old sister, but that would be wrong because I know my sister will only have her measly IQ for a short moment in time and will eventually comprehend semantics. Sarah Palin 2.0 however is at full cognitive development.

Disposable diapers have long been a thorn in the side of environmentalism, but now two UK companies may have found a way to put a positive spin on this stinky problem. Versus Energy and Knowaste have partnered to build the first plant that not only recycles diapers but is also powered by those diapers. The disposable diapers will be broken down inside the plant, where the organic materials (i.e. pee and poo) will be converted into energy to run the plant. The rest of the diaper will be dried and sterilized before being converted into reusable paper pulp and plastic products which may include everything from roof tiles to wallpaper. No matter how gross the source, its always exciting to see companies invest in new ways to create renewable energy. This may also alleviate some of the guilt of new moms who still choose to use disposable diapers instead of a more eco-friendly option like gDiapers. Its doubtful mom-to-be Tiffani Thiessen has even had time to think about what she'll be putting on her baby's bottom. The White Collar star just announced she is pregnant with her first child, adding, "We are over the moon! It's something we've wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it's actually happening." Hey, Tiffani, if you need any diapering advice don't be afraid to ask, we'll be happy to help you make the best choice, for the earth, oh, and for your baby too of course.

Oh, Miles. As if you didn’t already have so many sipping on the haterade, you’ve gone and made another mistake. And this time, we do not approve. We’re okay with you dressing like a hobag because we understand this is just an onstage persona – but we’re not okay with you sprouting things like “you’re gay” in concert. Even if you are in Kentucky! Might we recommend sending out some “I’m sorry” cards to GLAAD, stat? Preventative measures, dearie. These cards from Cat Seto are 100% PCW and chlorine free, which means you won’t just be apologizing, you’ll be giving back to the earth.

Ever heard the saying "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"? Well, apparently PETA hasn't. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk recently went on Glenn Beck's ultra conservative talk show to discuss, of all things, Al Gore. Newkirk criticized Gore for eating meat saying, "you absolutely cannot go along with the pollution caused by meat production and call yourself an environmentalist." There is some merit to what Newkirk is saying, less meat production means less deforestation and lower methane output among other benefits, but can't she find someone else to pick on? Whether he eats meat or not, Gore has done more to champion the environmental cause than anyone else, not to mention, Newkirk isn't perfect either. PETA is often criticized for exploiting women in their advertising. Recent ad campaigns that show obese women with the phrase, "Save the whales. Lose the blubber: Go vegetarian" caused outrage on Twitter. Their ‘I’d rather go naked than wear fur’ ads, like this latest one featuring New Moon's Christian Serratos, also receive criticism from women's organizations who feel they are exploiting women to further their own cause. It's commendable that PETA is so passionate about animal rights; it's just too bad that sometimes they promote their cause at the detriment to others.

{Insert Lindsay’s “Confessions of Broken Heart” here] LiLo’s daddy drama just won’t stop! Michael Lohan, or as we like to call him, Papa Lo, has been causing some major crazy lately thanks to the tapes he’s been releasing to various media outlets. Last week, he sold two phone conversations to Radar. In one, Linds sobs uncontrollably, in the other, mom Dina says it’s impossible to keep her daughter alive. Linds was said to be getting a cease and desist order against her old man, but apparently her lawyers are on the slow boat – because Michael’s released yet another tape, this time of Lindsay’s assistant, Jenni Munro, threatening to quit thanks to her client’s suicidal habits.

Munro is pissed that Papa Lo’s been spying on her, and rightfully so. The man’s so desperate for fame he’d probably purchase a vertical bed (which can secure to any subway grates and then fold up into a briefcase like The Jetsons) just to hear what the mole people are saying about his daughter. We don’t blame Jenni – we wouldn’t want our convos sold to the paps. We do, however, agree with Papa Lo on one thing. Linds needs some time in rehab, stat.

Taylor Swift hosted SNL yesterday, and she was actually pretty funny! Her monologue, appropriately titled, Monologue Song (La La La), poked fun at her ex, Joe Jonas, and arch-nemesis Kanye West. She also made fun of that one Vampire movie, Twilight, don't know if you've heard of it.

The House of Representatives approved the health care reform bill. The health care plan overhaul, which would cost $1.1 trillion over the next 10 years, passed 220 to 215. While the Democrats excised abortion insurance coverage as a concession, Republicans still plan to fight the bill in the Senate.

Leonardo DiCaprio's influence is so strong, that he even inspired a luxury car company. Auto designer Henrik Fisker worked for chic brands like Aston Martin and BMW but switched to eco-friendly hybrid sports cars after he saw Leo driving a Prius.

We're glad to see Leo can be a force for good, but the dark side clouds are ever near. Translation: Lindsay Lohan's hanging out at his house, and that can't mean anything but trouble. While La Lohan now looks Leo's age (too much tanning and botox), that doesn't make it right. The poor girl is cray cray and doesn't wear pants. Maybe they were just discussing eco-friendly spray-tan leggings?

Britney lip-synched Down Under y'all, and the Aussies are kangaroo-hopping mad. Fans stormed out of her lack-luster set because they were disappointed that she wasn't actually singing. Maybe they didn't get the memo: Britney never sings at her concerts. Luckily for the poptart, she still has other fans to defend her, plus John Mayer.

Looks like Brad is going to have to start working on his "I just swallowed some bad shit" expression in front of the mirror (something tells us he’s already practiced), because the OG queen of the c*nt-face, Taylor Jacobson, is officially OUT. That's right, the Grinch of The Rachel Zoe Project, will be unpacking boxes elsewhere, as she has left RZ Inc. Tay recently took to her twitter page writing, "Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings…!!!” Jacobson's departure has raised major concern as to who will take on the actual work at Zoe’s headquarters. After all, Rachel spent much of the 2nd season of her reality show with a severe case of the coke spins vertigo, while third in command, Brad Goreski, dressed himself up in couture ball gowns. However, we're not too worried. It's pretty clear who the real brains of Rachel Zoe’s enterprise is…hubby Rodger Berman’s hair! Now that Taylor and her floppy side-bangs are out of the way, Rodge's NeNe Leakes-inspired hairdo(n’t) is free to take its rightful place in the spotlight. Seriously, that ish looks like the endangered porcupine that exploded on Kate Gosselin's head decided plop itself on down on Rodger's skull for a nap (those television appearances can be exhausting). Either that, or someone’s been getting into Kim Zoliack’s wig closet.

We at Beanstockd have a pretty big thing for Seth Cohen, so we suppose this dictates that we also love Adam Brody, the actor who played him. Adam’s been pretty boring lately, and has been laying low on the Hollywood scene, so you can imagine our surprise (and delight!) when he popped up in Long Island with Dianna Agron, the blonde cutie patootie from our new favorite show, Glee. Are these two a match made in adorable heaven or what? How long do we have to wait before they start picking out conflict free diamond rings and buying each other micro-pigs?

We don’t know about you guys, but we think Seth, ahem, Adam, would make for a great guest star on Glee. Does anyone know if the man can sing? Think about it – he could play the dorky new guy who’s in love with Quinn while Rachel’s in love with him…swoon! We might just have to email Ryan Murphy about this one. In the meantime, we can’t wait to watch this couple develop.
