I love this series! Amami Yuki is as usual amazing in her acting and their comedic tandem of Masami Nagasawa is really good!!! Sou na!!!! :D But the reason I started watching this drama is because of Matzuka Tori! I so love him! And I am so happy when I learned that Amami Yuki was here, too. I've watched her in BOSS and she's really good.

I don't like Emi Takei much, though. There's just something in her that I really don't like. ^^ It's just too bad that the subtitles are still not finished although the drama has already finished a long time ago. I think there have been three subbers already and I'm just thankful that someone is always picking this drama up when the previous subber has stopped. Anyway, the subs are on episode 7 and hopefully, the subtitles for episode 8 will come out soon.^^

I love this anime!!!!! Very cute and heartwarming. The plot is basically a single guy trying to raise a little girl who was his grandfather's daughter. ^^ Daikichi just decided to adopt Rin because no one in their family wanted to take care of her. But as the days go by, they saw how cute and adorable Rin is so they started to love her truly.

What's amusing here is how Daikichi adapts in being a single father but sometimes he is asking himself, is he raising Rin or is Rin raising him? Rin is not just an ordinary kid, cute and adorable, but she is also matured for her age.

I'm still on episode 8. I can't wait to learn the ending. ^^

Oh, I am so glad there's a live action movie of this!!! I am so excited to watch it! Kenichi Matsuyama plays as Daikichi while the cute and adorable Ashida Mana will play as Rin. ^^

i just finished watching the first episode of this drama and all i can say is.. scary!!!

Sakurai Sho is downright creepy and crazy and so as Yokoyama Yu. they are both psycho! and i'm going to watch this until the end!!! woohoo! i love shows like this. ^^

and i just want to say that i knew Yokoyama Yu from somewhere and i was right. he is Seishiro from Yukan Club! i love that guy. ^^

Star, meteors, and tears - Ryusei no Kizuna

i'm torn between crying and laughing. ^^;;

i haven't finished watching this series but i am really enjoying it. Every scenes of their childhood memories makes me cry. T.T they were so happy then with their parents and some bad person just took it away. i just see the scenes when they were kids and i cry already. ^^;; even scenes that those 3 were daydreaming, imagining that they are grown up and their parents are still alive. i can't help but cry. T.T

and the comedy is good too. george-san is funny. the detective sidekick is funny especially when he acts like a homo when he's drunk. ^^;; takayama is stupidly funny. there are a lot of funny characters! i like the old hag swindler who dressed up like a manga character with matching rabbit in her hands! LOL that episode was so funny! even the host was funny! its funny how he's so into mangas. ^^;;

i can't wait to see what happens in the end. did togami really kill their parents? or was there some misunderstanding there? some kind of shocking twist? and will the detectives find out that Ariake 3 swindled some people?? and will Shizuna and young Togami will end up with each other? i hope not. ^^;;

Oh! My Girl

my eyes got hurt from watching this. somehow, my tears got a little bit too salty. ^^;;

this series was too short but nevertheless, i liked it a lot. its very inspiring and heart-warming. and i cried a lot. especially during the scene at the amusement park when both Koutaro and Ann were crying their hearts out. T.T i thought it would end differently. that Ann would stay with Koutaro. oh well.

and its refreshing to see Hayami Mokomichi in a role that doesn't involve a love story. although i would have liked to see Koutaro and Mineko developed a relationship. ^^ i would have also liked to see more of the other characters such as the noisy neighbors, Koutaro's Chief, Yasuno-san too and Koutaro's other co-workers. ^^ anyway, it was a good series. i hope they make a special!

I'm currently watching this and certainly enjoying it! I have watched Hayami Mokomichi in Zettai Kareshi and i really enjoyed that series plus there are scenes that really made me cry. T.T He was effective playing a robot. ^^ at first i was thinking that this actor doesn't have much of acting skills that's why he was chosen to play a robot (since it doesn't need a lot of facial expressions to show emotions LOL). anyway, after seeing a few episodes of Regatta, i realized he knows how to act after all. hooray! he's one of my favorite Japanese actors now. ^.~

Anyway, i was surprised to see Aibu Saki (Misao) looking so different with that of her character in Zettai Kareshi. She was cuter in ZK. and Matsuda Shota (Hitsuji) doesn't look any different from... i forgot what show i saw him... but he still look cute. ^^ Wakatsuki Chinatsu's character as Chiko was an absolute epitome of kikay-ness (girly-ness) and i can't help but think that underneath Chiko's innocence and kindness and very understanding character, she's really a little scheming wench who's trying to make Misao and Yagi get closer so she can have Mako-kun to herself. Well, that's just fair since she is the girlfriend. and i actually am pro-Chiko-Mako pair because i don't like Misao. ^^ and i just hope Makoto will learn to love Chiko and forget his feelings for Misao in the end. oh well, i still got a long way to go to finish the series.

oh wait! i just have to mention Sato jiro who plays the captain of the team and i just can't believe he plays a college student here when in fact he always play someone more older. but anyway, he is still as funny as ever! ^^ i can't forget how much he made me laugh in Mop Girl as the funeral company director. ^^

another series that makes me feel i want to try tennis! (the other one is prince of tennis)

i'm not a fan of ueto aya but she's great here. i just didn't like that hiromi gets so depressed and quits so easily. it would take a lot of encouragement before she can regain her wits. anyway, the ending was good and the SP was good. and i just have to mention that i watched this series because of Yoshizawa Yuu/Hisashi. ^^ he was great in Bloody Monday.

i'm just wondering if all the players here really can play tennis in real life. especially ochoufujin. she is really like a princess. she's so beautiful and her tennis form is sooo good. matsumoto rio portrayed her very effectively. ^__^

I loved this series! Miura Haruma is really great. and thanks to this series i discovered Kirishima-san! i watched Ace wo Nerae because of him. anyway, every actor in this series is great. they portrayed their role successfully esp Maya. she is such a cunning woman! and L is so crazy! ^^ i could have believed that something like really does happen in real life. maybe it does but i don't wanna know. ^^

all i have is praises for this series. and i just hope there'd be a special. or a bloody monday 2. ^__^

I discovered this J-drama through a friend in friendster. and i'm glad i did.

the series is a typical high school drama about delinquent students who lost their way and about a teacher who is sincere with an honest-to-goodness concern for his students. its just like Gokusen and GTO. the only difference is, this is also a sports-themed drama - baseball. and ever since high school i have always been interested in this sports. that's why i joined softball. ^^

anyway, i like the series though its full of high spirits shown through shouting. ^^;; Kawato-sensei had his vocal chords so worked up. LOL and also the guys. but its a good series. there's true friendship and camaraderie. trust and sincerity. its all very inspiring. when i was watching it i felt like i wanted to play softball, be in a team, be part of a teamwork, and have a good time playing with friends. and then, this is also one of those series who made me felt like i want to be a teacher and be part of a student's life. ^^ make a difference in school and guide students to be a better person. its really an inspiring series. i wish there exists a teacher like Kawato-sensei.

as for my favorite character, it would be Hirachi! lol he is so funny. i like Aniya's voice too. and then okada's hair, yufune's "nya" expression, wakana's bangs.. well, everyone is so likeable. this is the first time i've seen those actors except for shirota yuu and i think they were great. although i think i have seen kawato-sensei before... his face is so awfully familiar... ^^

Mysoju is taking so long in uploading the 10th episode! i can't wait to see how things would turn out for Serizawa and for Naruse too. i pity both of them. Serizawa has been haunted by his past and he feels so sorry for what happened. if he can go back and change things, he would. only he couldn't. as for Naruse, the saddest part with him is he is so bound with his revenge that he cannot give in to love! he can't give love a chance. he cannot rest until his revenge is complete. so pitiful.

i was suprised to see Waki Tomohiro (Kuma of Gokusen 1 and 2) and Nino of Arashi (Taro of Yamada Taro Monogatari) here. only Nino's appearance was brief and so as Waki too. i enjoy watching these two in Gokusen and Yamada Taro Monogatari.

i just can't wait until i finishes this drama. i wonder what will happen. will Naruse succeed in killing Serizawa's father? will he kill Serizawa? will Serizawa be able to stop Naruse from his evil plans??

Class 3-D again!

this is a late post and my comeback on blogging! but i am so distracted i'm afraid i can make this a good entry. ^__^;; (Kojiro! you're so noisy! don't just swing fuurin kazan around!)

so Class 3D is back. only in a different school and different students. but Yankumi is still there and the ever funny Head Teacher Sawatari! (i was surprised to learn that Nakama Yukie and him have worked before in a tv series titled "Trick" and even then, they had this comedic chemistry)

Enter 3D students headed by Ogata and Kazama! Kazama no kawaii! i love your highlights! that's all i want to say actually. hahaha! Haruma Miura, who played Kazama ren, is another addition to my ever growing list of Japanese hunks and cuties that i adore. ^__~ he just looks so adorable and charming! i love his highlights and he also looked kawaii with his almost white hair in Koizora (Sky of Love). i just can't find a good picture of him with that almost white hair. and i can't find a site to where i can watch the film! tch.

so okay. going back to Gokusen 3. Yankumi displayed again her love for her students and how she saved them from troubles and lead them to the right path. the series made me cried a lot but i thought the fighting scenes where Yankumi is entering, taking off her pony tails and glasses are a bit cliche and there was actually a point where i skipped the scene. but still, i loved the series and i'm sure there would be a special where they will show the graduation day of the whole class with everybody on it! i can't wait for it already! ^__^

whoaaaa! i really love dal ja's curly hair!!! i've always wanted a curly hair like that! it looks gorgeous! the more i see her on the series, the more i love her hair! dal ja is soooo beautiful! i wish i can look like her! even just an inch of her face and hair! ^__^;;

well, i had my long hair curled last night. and i'm soooo sorry i did. LOL it didn't look good on me. the beautician used small curlers, i was never aware on how small the curl would be. if i had just known it would be this small, i would have opted for the really bigger ones! i think that at least would look fine.

at first it looked fine, when my hair was still wet. but when it was drying up, it slowly started to look so terrible! and when it all dried up, i looked like a witch who haven't used a comb for centuries! @_@ i couldn't stand it. i grabbed a scissor and cut most of my hair. goodbye long hair. so now my hair looks like that. it looks better than last night. i just have to find ways on maintaining it "wet".

oh i guess i can't look like the beautiful dal ja. it would only remain in my dreams. but the series is really great. dal ja is so funny! and i can fully relate to the story. i can very well relate to Dal Ja. we are soooo alike. ^__~

Sapuri - Suppli/supplement

there's nothing much special in this J-dorama. but still, i enjoyed it. Itoh Misaki and Kame perfectly suit their role. i also liked the other actors who played Imaoka-san, Yugi-san, Ogi-sama, Tanaka-san and Natsuki-chan! they did a good job especially Na-cchan. i'm sure i've seen that little actress somewhere. her face is so familiar. i just can't seem to pinpoint where.

anyway, the series has a good story. although i can't really say that Misaki and Kame look good together. Misaki is too tall for Kame and... they just don't look good together. ^__^;; maybe that goes with the story since Misaki as Fuji-san is supposed to be older than Ishida (kame) but then, its a plus point for a show if the main pair looks good together right? unlike in Taiho Shichauzo (You're Under Arrest) Misaki and Kaneko Noboru (Okabayashi) looks good together.

all in all, the series is good although i just noticed one thing, kame doesn't seem to change his hairstyle. i mean, i haven't seen him in any other drama with a different hairstyle. hmm.. i wonder why... ^.^?

They were there, i was here, we both cried - Bokura ga Ita

another anime which made me cry. not just cry. all the time i was watching this i had this huge lump on my chest which could have made me cry anytime! for a high school couple, this one definitely is too serious. i was like, you're just high schoolers! why are you so serious like that?? its not like everything is complicated! made me think about my high school days when i had my first heartache. i cried too but it wasn't that serious as this couple had to go through! (for a synopsis and spoilers, go here.)

compare to Clannad, Clannad's ending is much more tolerable for me. Nagisa died and left Okazaki with a daughter. and the series ended with a movie showing their adult life! with Bokura ga Ita's anime ending, its totally open. left me hanging by a thread on the edge of a cliff. towards the end of the series there was some narration part where Nanami was talking as an adult and reminiscing their high school days so i was hoping that in the end, they would already be adults.

but crap. the anime ended during their senior year in high school, before Christmas. Yano left to Tokyo leaving Nanami in Hokkaido. Yano was in the train and Nanami was running after him and they were both crying. the end. there were some hints of having a special/movie but i'm not really looking forward to it. why?

since this anime is based on manga, and i've read somewhere a little about it, for sure if there will be a movie or an oav, the story would be too complicated, annoying and depressing because that's how the manga is going. Yano and Nanami would face bigger problems and wouldn't even see each other for 5 long darn years! Nana ends up with Take and Yano ends up with Yamamoto no baka! baka! baka! baka!

a lot of complications would also happen and the manga is already on its 51st chapters but Yano and Nana still haven't seen each other! how annoying is that. crap. i don't want to read this! i don't want to get depressed again and be left hanging by a thread on the edge of a cliff! i just think this story is too full of complications, sadness, despair, everything negative! i still prefer comedy-romance after all.

Yamapi made me cry!!! T.T

waaahh! gorgeous Yamapi, Kenzou in the series, made me cry with his omedetou speech for the bride and the groom! chigau chigau. not his first speech in the first episode but his speech towards the end of the series. he had the chance to do it again and changed it because the church fairy made it possible for him to time-slip (go back in time) just before his speech.

of course the church fairy had made it possible for him to time-slip a lot of times! but the last time was special like a gift because it wasn't Kenzou's wish. it was the initiative of the fairy. and so Kenzou used that chance to change something in the present and future and not change something in the past. he was finally able to say everything to his childhood friend, Rei the bride, how much he loves her and how much he treasures her. it wasn't a proper omedetou speech since its declaring love for the groom's bride! but in the end of the speech he told Tada-san, the groom, to take care of Rei.

Kenzou didn't just made me cry though. he made me super annoyed too to the point of almost losing interest in the series. Kenzou had gone back to the past a lot of times. almost every episode. i think every episode he went back to the past just to turn Rei's frown into smile in all the pictures that were shown during the wedding. a lot of times, before he goes to the past, he swears to himself to finally tell Rei what he really feels but in the end he wouldn't be able to say it! just hints and gestures as if Rei would be able to tell what he feels just by that. well, it was Kenzou's character that he thought it was cool that a man doesn't say much and just show whatever he feels through his actions. and he expects Rei to pick it up through ESP! geez! it was super annoying! even in the last time that he time-slipped, he never got to say "Aishiteiru Rei!". How hard it is to say that??

but since i downloaded already all the episodes and the specials, i continued watching it and i was thankful i did. because it had a good ending and i saw an image again of Julia Robert's runaway bride, but actually with permission of the groom. ^__^;; another thing that annoyed me is Tada-san's insensitive character. as a man he should have felt that Kenzou didn't only like Rei as a childhood friend but as a woman. he should have been able to feel that. but what did he do? he proposed to Rei in front of Kenzou and friends! geez. i thought he's character was an outsider to the group. but then, Tada-san was a man to let Rei go. he made up for his insensitivity towards Kenzou.

all in all, i like the series. the ending can make me forget the annoyance i felt during the middle of the series. and Yamapi really did make me cry! and i didn't have any tissue so i used my shirt! T.T he's so good in that speech! he was trying to hold back his tears, his eyes were all red and you can see that any minute, it will gonna fall. i so love that scene. ^__^

Taiho Shichauzo - You're Under Arrest!

another j-dorama i have recently finished watching! its too bad that it only has nine episodes and without any specials as an ending to it. i really enjoyed this series because there's a good comedy in it, the story is interesting and the cast were really funny! only its just really too few of episodes. i want more! and there's really no conclusion on Miyuki and Natsumi's love stories! Nakajima and Miyuki only ended up sharing an apartment but it wasn't clear if it will push through since Natsumi came back. and Okabayashi and Natsumi's relationship wasn't also clear. geez. are there really no specials of this series??

oh, by the way, isn't Okabayashi looks like Rustom Padilla?? the first time i saw him in the series i thought, Rustom knows how to speak Nihonggo? and how was he able to be in the Japanese showbusiness? they really look alike when Rustom was still a man and haven't confessed to be a gay. and i kinda don't like the idea that Okabayashi looks like Rustom. Okabayashi is too handsome and more manly. ^__^;;

Koukou Debut - High School Debut

@#$*^! i love this manga but i'm kinda annoyed because i'm put in a suspense! there are only 36 chapters available and Chapter 37 is yet to be scanned and released! and to think that the next event would be the great athletic meet where Yoh and Asaoka would compete with each other - Yoh has to win more games than Asaoka or else, Asaoka will confess his feelings for Haruna, who is Yoh's girlfriend, which would put Haruna in a distressed state since she's all kind and she wouldn't want to hurt someone else's feelings.

gaaahh! i don't know if its bad that i read too fast and i finished all the 36 chapters in just one sitting. it was just yesterday that i finished all of it and now, i'm already getting impatient waiting! >.< i just so love the story, not as funny as Lovely Complex, but it has the same innocent honest love and its just so sweet!

Haruna is a girl determined to find a boyfriend. she was a dedicated softball player and softball club member during middle school and she has decided to set aside softball and focus more on her lovelife when she reaches high school. but once she reached her first year in high school, she can't find a boyfriend, she can't even pick up nor attract boys! she knew there was something wrong with her and she needed someone to coach him on how to improve herself. and poof! here comes the handsome, popular Yoh who is a woman-hater but actually a nice guy and with the help of his sister Asami, Haruna was able to make Yoh agree to be her coach. on one condition given by Yoh, Haruna shouldn't fall in love with him.

there were a lot of times when i was reading the manga that i wished i was back in high school and experiencing the same romantic situation. hahaha! or even back in college! as long as it is in school! ^__^;; *sigh* reading shoujo manga is kinda bad noh? well, its bad for me. i get sucked in their world and began to imagine, daydream about things that only happens in a manga. hahaha! i think i should go out more with friends. ^__^;;
