While some smokers are wild about a mild cigar with their favorite beer, others enjoy a darker breed of cigar. Being able to sample Cuban on a recent cruise, some cuban cigars were definitely not worth the price. There are always exceptions. Those cigars that did "taste" better than their American counterparts, were without a doubt in a class by themselves. Alas they were few or far between! $40.00 US for a cuban cigar? "Ummm, no thank you!" Well I guess if money is no object, go for it! The Punch Chateau L maduro is the perfect "after dinner" smoke. For "value" cigars I don't think you can go wrong with, Padron or Nat Sherman. I love the latter's maduro Churchill or The Banker.
