The worst thing that has taken the fun out of movies without a doubt, has to be cell phones!

At the start of every movie, you get some cute little message "Please silence you cell phones."

Do people reach down and do it? Well obviously they don't. When you least expect it, some brainless moron's cell phone goes off. Then, he proceeds to have a conversion with his wife/girlfriend, all about the grocery list. He tries to whisper, "OK, OK, OK, Milk, Cereal and bread, got it." Everyone in the whole theater can hear this dumb ass. He isn't being slick. Have you seen this one? People who are incapable of leaving their phone alone without texting their gossipy girlfriends? We think all think cell phones are great. To a certain extent the really are a great convenience. It has started degrading our lifestyle, even to the point of death. Cell phones are are often the culprit of car accidents. I use my cell phone inappropriately as well. Is it too much to ask to just hear the over-priced movie when I go out? Do I ALWAYS have to hear every new "jingle" of cell phones everywhere? Why not have a big sign simply stating, WHILE YOU ARE IN OUR MOVIE THEATER, YOU CELL PHONE WILL BECOME INOPERATIVE?"

I would mind and either should you...
