Excellent product
Excellent product from LG. Ordering was easy, the delivery company was efficient, courteous, and professional. I've now been using this TV for a little over a month now, and have had no issues with it at all.
120Hz - The 120Hz feature, while not necessarily revolutionary, is still a nice evolution of display technology, although with two drawbacks that I've noticed with my short time using this feature. First, it took time for my eyes to adjust to the smoothing effect - older black and white videos appeared almost too smooth, while other more recently produced programs appear to have little difference between 120Hz and normal viewing modes. Second, when filling in blank frames to achieve the smoothing effect, the TV will occasionally "guess" wrong and the frame may distort slightly for an extremely brief moment (so brief I only notice it very rarely). As far as I can tell this is a natural drawback of the 120Hz effect, but occurs so infrequently as to be a very minor complaint. 120Hz can also be turned off
Stand - The display stand works well, with the left/right pivot feature being a nice bonus.
Sound - The TV's built in speakers work quite well, with above average sound quality and a nice range of volume.
Ports - A good range of ports with an extra HDMI, standard video, and USB on the side of the TV for extra convenience.
Picture Quality - Excellent. Absolutely no complaints with the picture on this TV. Colors stand out well and the viewing angle is great.
This TV is an excellent purchase when it is on sale or has special deals attached. Without those deals it seems the price/quality ratio is lessened, and other options may offer better value.

picture quality!!! Looks better than TVs at twice the price or more!
This is my first HDTV, and although I do have some "HD" computer monitors, they're nothing close to this experience. With an HD source, the picture is so clear it looks like you could walk through the screen and into the scene.
At first I couldn't decide between LCD and plasma. After reading a lot of pro-plasma reviews, I figured the 1080p LCD would look pixelated and the plasma would look more dynamic and realistic even if only at 720p. Boy was I ever wrong!!!
I was considering the Toshiba 37" 1080p LCD and the Samsung 42" 720p Plasma. Although reviews were raving over the Samsung's picture quality, people seemed to think the Toshiba was better quality, so I ordered the 37" Toshiba. When I got to the store, however, I ended up paying the few extra dollars to get the 40" after falling in love with it. The 37" has the same quality, just smaller.
They had the Samsung 42" 720p plasma there, and while it was a decent TV in it's own right, the Toshiba just blew it away. The pixels (if that's what they are) on the plasma were clearly visible; whereas, I couldn't see ANY pixels at all on the Toshiba LCD!
Games, particularly GTA IV for XBOX 360, at full HD resolution are beyond belief after playing them on an old 20" CRT TV.
Bottom line:
I can't recommend this TV enough. Most of the reviews for the Toshiba 200 series LCDs -- as positive as they are -- understate the picture quality. It's that impressive! Plus, the unit looks and feels like a quality product. The worst things people can say are minor items like the lack of headphone jack or a silly mute button on the controller, which you can easily replace with a universal remote if you don't like it. No significant quality-related issues. Compare that the Samsung or other competitor TVs that have buzzing audio problems and don't even include the correct base and screws for the unit. Go with Toshiba!

An amazing deal and great quality! Panasonic TC-L42U25 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV
I purchased this TV on the 7th (499.99) with a scheduled delivery date of Jan 13th-15th. I got it today (the 13th) It was delievered by a Van, the guy was nice and professional. Everything is as described as far as the packaging goes. I even signed up for an text alert from Amazon that let me know that it was out for delievery and that took place too. (I wasn't given a time but it arrived around 11am) Anyway, I unboxed it, hooked it up to my Directv Dvr and PS3, made the color adjustment settings, I prefer the gaming mode on it the picture seems so much more vibrant in that mode. The sound is more than adequate the speakers are great, clarity is great, no lag, no flicker. It was so easy to set up. All around very very pleased with this purchase. Best buy has this TV for 727ish, Frys had it for 650. I believe (yes I went into the store just to check out what I was getting). I could not be more pleased. Even if you have to pay 550. for this set from Amazon, Do it. I hope you have the same experience as I do. Blue-ray looks awesome and my dvd's play in 1080i which is still very very nice. Of course the first movie I played was Avatar blueray extended edition and every time I looked up at the Tv all my eyes were saying was "WOW" amazinggg!! (not to mention, no store taxes, no california recycling fees and free delivery)

Marvelous Machine! Really!
I should admit upfront that I am not a scientist or engineer. Nor am I a gamer or video editor. I am a scholar and writer, so my use of this machine is largely limited to word processing, Power Point presentations, web browsing, and watching streaming videos. Thus, my experience will very likely differ from those who'll be using this computer to run several large and sophisticated programs simultaneously. Given these parameters, I am simply thrilled with this addition to Apple's MacBook collection. I am a relatively recent convert to Apple products after nearly two decades on PCs. So my views might be positively colored somewhat by the enthusiasm of the newly converted. I have been using a MacBook Pro 13" for the last year or so and I can safely say that this new MacBook Air 11" is simply a charm and a wonderful companion to the larger computer. Mine is the fully maxed-out model, with the factory-installed 1.6 chip, 4GB ram and 128 flash. I bought it to use for travel to libraries and research centers, and to carry easily from home to school. While I've only had the machine for a short time, there is no doubt this will be instantly more useful than any PC or Apple I've owned before. I have now spent several hours running it through its paces and I am genuinely impressed.
My first reaction was that it truly is as amazingly thin and sleek as it looks in the ads--almost disconcertingly so compared to my MacBook Pro. My first few times typing, I thought I might break it, it seemed so thin. But it's a toughie, no doubt about it. Light yet solid. Easily slips into my bag--hardly noticeable. It took almost no time at all to set up. The battery charged in less than an hour and, so far at least, seems to run almost as long as my Pro, though I do have to be especially careful to quit programs I'm not using to preserve and prolong power. I installed Office Suite 2011 in 15 minutes via the wireless network through the university. No need for a disk drive in this instance. Even more exciting, it easily networked wirelessly with my Pro and I was then able to operate its DVD drive as if it were part of the Air. Amazing. Assuming you have another MacBook, there really is no need for a DVD drive in this machine.
Since I write for a living, having a comfortable keyboard is essential. I was delighted and surprised to see that the 11" Air has a keyboard that measures exactly the same as my 13" Pro--no difference whatsoever. And the overall feeling is quite good with just enough bounce and resistance--essential in my view for effective typing. Only thing lacking are the illuminated keys--a nice feature, but certainly not essential. I don't think I'll miss it. The backlit screen is physically smaller, of course. But there are more pixels per inch, so it is amazingly bright and crisp. In fact, in a side-by-side comparison, this screen is every bit as brilliant as the screen on my Pro, and is certainly brighter and with greater high and low contrasts than the screen on the standard MacBook. Again, I am quite delightfully surprised by how good this screen is, since I was expecting something less in such a small package. Everything reads slightly smaller as a result, of course. But I still have no trouble reading whatever's on the screen. I imagine people with poor vision might have a slightly harder time reading their usual sites and documents. But I have no trouble--and my eyes are not perfect by any means. The improved track pad is a joy to use and genuinely intuitive. I am especially pleased to see the one finger "tap to click" option once again that you don't find on the older MacBooks--makes navigation that much faster and easier.
Despite the processor being only 1.6GHz, the speed seems to be about the same as on my MacBook Pro. Here, I'm sure more sophisticated users and gamers will disagree. But I am able to run Youtube, Netflix, and Hulu videos flawlessly. No discernible lag, no annoying pixelating. It certainly boots up faster (that solid state storage makes a noticeable difference there) and many of my usual websites seem to load up just as fast if not faster than they do on my Pro. So I'm not sure I will notice any difference in CPU speed, given my rather mundane needs and uses. But I'm glad I got the faster chip and larger RAM, nonetheless, given the ever-increasing demands of programs and the Internet. These upgrades make normal usage a breeze and should extend the machine's viability a bit longer.
Downsides? None yet--apart from minor issues like the lack of an SD slot, an Ethernet port (USB extension is available for purchase) and additional USB outlets. But I'm happy to sacrifice these things for the convenience of a light, ultrathin MacBook. No doubt this machine will now become my primary tool.
Be aware that this maxed out edition (1.6/4GB/128Flash) must be factory installed through special order. As a result, it takes longer to arrive than most might expect. Certainly longer than the 1-3 business days Apple claims it takes to process the order. Mine took 18 days from the time I placed the order until it arrived from the Apple factory in China. Your experience may be different. But don't expect it to arrive within just a few days.
In short, this is an excellent machine. Whether it is worth the price is up to you. But I'm more than happy with it. Obviously, I can't attest yet to its durability, but it feels solid and stout, and I expect it will get quite a bit of use.

A great performer, super portable, a pleasure to use
There are lots of cool things about the new Macbook Airs. But what stands out most to me is the performance gain from an SSD instead of a spinning magnetic hard drive. It boots up from cold to ready in under 10 seconds. Seriously. It shuts down in about 4-5 seconds. Of course, you don't need to shut it down and boot it up from cold every time - just shut the lid and it goes to sleep in 1 second. Open it later and it wakes up just as you left it - in about 1 second. Really. Windows laptops have this same feature, but in my experience it doesn't wake up about 1/4 of the time, so I stopped using it. But it works perfectly on the Mac.
Reading from and writing to the SSD is very fast, whether you're installing programs or loading files. The difference is striking compared to my Dell XPS laptop, which has a 7200rpm hard drive and Core 2 duo processor with a higher rated speed.
Now that I have a laptop with an SSD as the main drive, I will never go back to one using a spinning hard drive - it's yesterday's technology and just doesn't perform well, compared to this. Of course, part of the performance gain could well be due to the Mac OS X. OS X seems more stable and refined than Windows 7 (and I like Windows 7, though I'd like anything after the disaster that was Windows Vista).
The Air's integrated NVIDIA 320 graphics handles all my needs very well, though I am not a graphics-intensive gamer or video editor, just an average user.
Battery life is really exceptional. At this moment, I've been running my MBA 5 or 6 hours since the last charge, and the battery meter still shows 44% remaining. Since I bought it, I have gotten at least the rated 7 hours of battery life every time. This, too, is due at least in part to the SSD. Regular hard drives use a lot of juice - they have motors that physically spin a magnetic platter 5400 or 7200 revolutions per minute. With SSD, there's no spinning disk and no motor, hence longer battery life.
The MBA runs cool most of the time. After I use it for a few hours at a time, the bottom gets SLIGHTLY warm. This is a huge improvement over EVERY OTHER LAPTOP I've ever owned or used, which get VERY WARM or even HOT.
I've only heard the fan come on ONCE - the first day, when I was installing MS Office using an external DVD/CD drive. Other than that, my MBA has been completely silent and cool.
Once I complete my transition from Windows to Mac, this MBA will be my main home computer. For average users like me, it's plenty powerful enough. At home, I have it plugged into an external monitor (which requires a $20 adapter), an external mouse, plus I have an external USB drive for backups and an Apple Super Drive (external DVD/CD). I slightly regret buying the Super Drive; Amazon sells Samsung drives that perform better and cost about $30 less.
The everyday experience of using the 13" MBA is like that of using a regular Macbook, Macbook Pro, or other "serious" laptop. What I mean is, when you're using it, it LOOKS and FEELS like using a "serious" laptop, not a laptop that makes compromises to achieve ultra portability. But when you take it with you somewhere, THAT'S when you notice how wafer-thin and feather-light it is.
And for something so remarkably thin, it feels very sturdy. Build quality is excellent.
I read a lot of other reviews by long-time MB users, many of whom are disappointed that the MBA doesn't have the backlit keyboard that Macbooks have. I've never had that feature on a laptop, so I don't miss it. But for people who do, you can get an LED lamp on an adjustable arm that plugs into the USB port - not a very elegant solution, but functional and inexpensive - Amazon has some good ones pretty cheap.
This is probably not a huge factor in your decision, but you might be interested in knowing the sound quality coming from the headphone jack is excellent. I did an A/B comparison between my MBA, my Dell XPS, and the Lenovo ThinkPad I use at work. I used high-end headphones to listen to a track encoded in iTunes at 320 bps on all 3 machines. The sound quality from the MBA's headphone jack was great, as good as my iPod touch, and way better than the Dell or Lenovo.
On the other hand, tiny speakers built into the MBA are no better than the average laptop speakers.
If you're thinking about buying this, I have a few suggestions.
First, go to a store and see one in person. Play around with it.
Second, make sure you know all the options available at time of order. The 11 and 13 inch MBAs can be ordered with upgrades (bigger SSD, faster processor, more RAM). But, once you buy a MBA, you may not be able to upgrade these components later. (Apple says you cannot. Some user forums say you can. I'd rather not take my chances.) So, you should probably opt for as many of the upgrades as you can afford at the time of initial purchase.

Very Pleased!

This is my first flatscreen TV. I bought the TV based on 4 specific features: 120Hz refresh rate, the LED backlight (and resulting power savings), the ability to play video files from USB, and 24P Real Cinema feature. I'm glad I made the purchase. Setup was easy, with only 8 screws to attach the stand to the TV. The unit is stable. I'm impressed by how thin the TV is. All the front lights can be turned off. The screen is a matte finish (no reflective cover). The TV doesn't have networking capability, but I wanted to buy the best TV I could afford and then use a Blu-ray player to provide the network interface.
I didn't know much about HDTVs a week ago and what I learned after about 8 hours of research and reviews is that the picture I actually see on the screen is heavily dependent on the source signal and the many different conversions the signal may go through (frame rate, aspect ratio change, deinterlacing, etc.) before it actually gets to the screen (the result of not feeding it a pure 1080p HDTV signal over an HDMI cable). I was really frustrated over looking at TVs in retail stores because doing comparisons side-by-side, I figured, was useless unless I knew what the original source video was and whether or not all the settings in the TV were set right. I ended up buying this TV because I figured it would give a great picture so long as I fed it with good source video. So far, that's true.
Right now, I only have a DVD player and a USB hard drive connected to it. My cheap little $20 DVD player outputs in 480i or 480p. The 480i signal has less jaggies on this TV than 480p. My guess is that the deinterlacer in the DVD player is low quality, so the 480p signal fed to the TV is not so good. I'm confident a 480p signal will look better once it's coming from a decent upconverting DVD player or Blu-ray player. All my anamorphic widescreen (1.78, 1.85, and 2.35) DVDs display great with the TV set to 16x9. 4:3 TV stuff (like old X-Files videos) display properly too. DVDs are clear, crisp and smooth.
I'm really impressed by the ability to play videos from a USB drive. So far I've played .avi, .mkv, .vob and .divx files up to 720p quality and file sizes between 500 MB and 2.1 GB. (When I hit the Info button on the remote, it looks like most of my .avi and .mkv files are encoded as MP4 and H.264, if that helps.) Windows .wmv files do not play. Quality is beautiful! No stuttering or pixilation. One problem I've faced, however, is the audio and video getting out of sync on some videos after about 20 minutes of play (the video starts to lag behind). I've been able to re-sync it by pressing stop and play. (Maybe it'll get fixed with a firmware update? Or maybe it's a problem with my files?) By the way, USB videos can be resumed from where you left off if you press stop or if the video stops. Once in awhile, videos will just stop on their own, but I'm able to start them again and they'll pick up and play just fine where they left off. I don't know if that's an issue with the file, the USB drive, or the TV. Aspect ratio modes are limited in USB mode: I only get the option of "Original size" or "Full" (which expands the video to the entire TV). I haven't had any problem yet with the "Full" setting because all my video files appear to be encoded in widescreen formats.
The LED backlighting is adjustable, either by changing the AV mode (standard, cinema, sports, etc) or by setting the power saving feature to "Auto". At full strength, I see some LED light vignetting at the corners of the screen when there's just a black image being displayed. (I see the same thing on my LED PC monitors). By comparison, the shade of black present in the vignetted areas is still blacker than the blacks produced in the video.
I don't have much to compare it to, but the remote works just fine for me. It took a little bit to figure out how to get to all the features (especially the 24P Cinema Mode, which is a couple menus deep).
Sound is just fine for my tastes. The volume runs from 0 to 100 and gets plenty loud enough to be too loud when sitting about 7 feet away. Sound quality is fine and actually has a pretty good frequency response range...it's not tinny or muffled. ClearVoice does add some crispness to voices.
TruMotion is kinda neat. It "interpolates" and inserts additional frames which really smooths out motion on any video I've fed it so far. Sometimes the results are desirable...sometimes not. On a "I am Legend" DVD, for example, setting the TruMotion to "Low" smooths out the video and adds to the quality in my opinion. It does add a little bit of the "Soap Opera Effect"--unnaturally clear and smooth video when compared to traditional 24-frame per second movies, so I just turn TruMotion off if I don't like the result. On some of my HD video from the USB drive, TruMotion makes motion more blurry, so I just turn it off. Again, the benefit seems to be dependent on the frame rate and quality of the original video signal.
The 120Hz refresh rate and the 24P Real Cinema mode are all about displaying film and video at their native frame rates without the need to do "pull down" frame rate conversions to the video signal which can cause judder (stuttering). I'm still learning about "judder" and "pull down" so I really don't have anything to compare good vs. bad video quality. I can say that I don't experience any stuttering no matter what DVDs I play.
I love the quality I'm getting out of this TV right now and it's only going to get better when I can actually feed it full 1080p signals. I will definitely look at LG LED-LCD TVs when it comes time to buy a bigger TV for the living room.

3 month update. I now have an LG BD570 hooked up to the TV and I think the TV is amazing. When fed a full 1080p signal, the picture is absolutely stunning (Planet Earth, Life, Avatar, etc.) I've fed it everything from 380MB TV rip files to full quality MKVs. I am very pleased with the quality: Even the quality of the smaller video files is more than I expected from normal viewing distances. DVD upconverting through the player also displays beautifully on the screen. Once in awhile when I try to play VOB files from a hard drive, the TV won't expand the image to full screen, and once in awhile I get a video that the TV won't play (e.g. no CODEC for it). It certainly isn't enough to bother me. Whatever the TV won't player I can usually play through the BD570. Between the two, 9 out of 10 files play correctly. I like the TV so much I'm seriously considering one of its big brothers for out main living room TV.

Short answer is yes, this laptop is a good buy and your best option for a laptop from apple.
The Macbook air is the Terminator 2 of apple laptops, the second one is so much better. I had purchased a 13 macbook pro about 4 months ago and I sold it to get this 13 macbook air, and I am so happy I did. Just the better screen and flash memory alone is worth it. Read below for a detailed pros and cons list from a general to medium power user.
Pros : Beautiful display, they squeezed all the pixels of the 15" macbook pro, into the 13.3" macbook air, they also have improved ten fold on the glare problem because the coating or screen is glare free, its unbelievable.
Flash memory. 128GB is enough for 90% of people out there. With the ability to have dropbox or .mac account and so much stuff in the cloud nowadays 128GB is really not unreasonable, also what I will do If I run out of space is pop a 32gb (or maybe bigger when they release them) into the sd slot and boom, an extra 32gb of space for $55 as of now on amazon. I enjoy NEVER seeing the rainbow wheel, applications run smoothly and everything is very snappy, it is a noticeable difference from a regular hard drive, at least twice as fast, multitasking and doing tasks is enjoyable and zippy with the flash memory and the boot up time is great at just 14 seconds, and instant on from hibernate or sleep is very welcome, I can edit in photoshop easily with no lag at all, actually better than my macbook pro, watching hd video and other tasks are handled just as well, I am really surprised.
Lightweight. Never mind how gorgeous the design looks, the size and weight are amazing. I would never want to take my macbook pro out in the car or on the bus/train, even though the air is just a couple pounds lighter, it sure makes a huge difference, playing on the laptop out and about has never been more enjoyable, its like the laptop is not even there and its just me and the screen, I find myself taking my air everywhere.
Cons : No backlit keyboard! although personally I never look at the keys when I type. Battery Life, I wish I could get 10 hours like my macbook pro, but 7 is fine and worth losing the lbs and inches to attain that goal.
I'm sure there are more pros, and maybe even a con or two, but these are the big deciding factors in choosing an air over any other laptop. I truly feel this laptop could serve 99% of users needs, with only the select few people needing huge hard drives and super fast processors on a 17" laptop screen with firewire needing the top of the line fast mobile computer.

Excellent 37" HD TV
Great 1080 TV. At 37" you need a 1080, with 32" or less 720 is fine unless you are sitting closer than 4 feet. So if you are wondering if you should save a few bucks and go with 720p instead, 37" is the crossover point where 1080p is much better choice because you will see the difference at average viewing distances. Also, at 37" or larger you really need to start investing in blu-ray DVD's since at this size regular DVD's don't view sharply - blu-ray is a 1080 format, regular DVD's are not.
Picture quality is excellent from my Comcast HD cablebox and I have not had any problems with ghosting because it is only 60Hz - my preference is to use the 'Cinema' setting with a few slight adjustments. Sound quality is acceptable but not special partly because the speakers are not in front and don't point towards the viewer which is the case with most modern sets but some Samsungs TV's do have speakers in front. This mean sound quality will never be great unless you hook it to receiver. I have a simple two speaker set up in my living room but there is only one audio output jack on the TV and it is for an optical cable. So my less than one year old receiver which only uses analog cables just became obsolete. The remote is good with useful `Format' button. This button is important to quickly adjust the ratio as needed. I almost bought a less expensive Vizio from Walmart but learned that the `format' option is buried in the Menu and requires 7 steps to get in and out - not worth the aggravation. Lastly, the set does take a full 4-5 seconds to turn On. I am not sure if that is typical of all these modern flat TV's but it is with this one, not a big deal but worth mentioning.
FWIW, I bought this at Sears because my old set died and I needed something quick. At Sears I was trying to decide between this and a 37" LG, both the same price. Anyway the senior sales guy said both were very good but he would give the edge to Panasonic.
I highly recommend this set and Amazon seems to have one of the best prices before taxes, which makes it even better if you are not in a rush and can order online to save another $40 or so on local sales tax.
Edited/Updated: I switched my comcast box from the five cables to HDMI and the sound/volume is almost 2x as loud. I used to need volume between 40 and 50 and now 20 is fine. Picture quality still gets very high marks

Amazing 3D HDTV Set,
i researched these types of sets for months for the family. surprisingly there were hardly any reviews on the 55wx800u - none on cnet or other major review sites. since my family loves toshiba products (3 generations of toshiba buying family members) we decided to take the plunge on this tv. reasonably priced with a whole host of settings to customize your tv's picture, if you like to tweak. if not, you can choose from some nice presets. overall, the color is vibrant, the set is very attractive - elegant, professional but not overly done like some other sets. prior to this tv, we had the panasonic s2 42" plasma tv (which replaced a 53" toshiba projection television)in the family room,as i wanted to try a plasma set and toshiba doesn't make plasmas. happy with the panay, we were torn to either get the panasonic 54vt 3dtv or this set. pricing was similar - but internet was not built into the panay. the plasma consumes much more power than this set. also, the 3d glasses that come with the toshiba are much more comfortable than the ones that came with the panay. so without reviews and based solely on my family's experience with toshiba, we bought this tv. we are extremely happy and i believe all the talk about blooming, clouding, flashlighting that comes with an edge lit set like this one is either overdone or toshiba has done an excellent job overcoming these issues. some quick things to note, connection to the wireless internet went smoothly and the widgets are very cool. there is a system update that takes about 5 mins - so make sure you update your system. also, when attaching the standing to the tv, it states slide and lock...it's a bit confusing and customer service wasn't very helpful -
just slide flat so that the two tabs on the stand slide into the two openings on the back of the tv - so you don't have to press down to lock in something the toshiba customer service (who apparently never put one of these things together) suggested. anyway, i wanted to put a real review up here since this is so lacking. if you have questions, ask. also, i will update in a couple months as to reliability. oh, lastly, don't buy from JR.com - their policy states that they have to open the package and add some "protective materials"- well - that set arrived broken. i refused the package and reordered through amazon.com and they sent the package "factory sealed" and it was fine.

Very good everyday watch
I use this everyday and I love how it keeps time so accurately. It is also very easy to read. The size is perfect for my wrist. I don't like small watches but I don't like the overly huge watches neither. This is just the right size. It looks very classy even if it is not an expensive luxury watch. I wear it when I shower and whenever I go for a swim. Now that's something I don't do with my Rolex.

My husband bought this watch for me for an anniversary present. I spent a lot of time researching watches and styles. This watch is soooo beautiful. I thought it would be too small initially after reading some of the reviews but I went in to a store to try this one and the mid size one. This watch is very classy and can be worn dressy or as an every day watch. The larger one is more sporty but not as versital. I took the watch into an authorized Tag dealer to get it authenticated. It is the real deal. My husband bought it directly from Amazon and not from a third party dealer through Amazon. The dealer could not even come close to matching the price. He also mentioned this watch would be one that will continue to keep time well for many, many years because it is a well made watch. You get a lot of bling for the money. I looked at the Breitling Colt Oceane and the Rolex datejust. Both are VERY nice watches. This watch had more diamonds and is way more striking. I am very pleased to say the least.

Gorgeous
This watch is only officially available overseas from Tag, which is why you won't get the Tag warranty, but Amazon does offer a limited one. And it is a great price. The watch is gorgeous, dainty and solid. The alternating matte and shiny links are very subtle--almost not noticeable. Amazon confuses the description of the Link, which is slightly larger and water resistant to 200m, with this one, called the Mini Link, which is smaller (like the top picture) and resistant to 100m. The description mentions minute marks and shows the larger Link; the Mini does not have minute marks (as in the top pic, again). The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is that the Mother of Pearl catches light oddly sometimes within the case, or maybe the case is smudged--I can't tell--and so the watch face is often not crystal clear at some angles. Can't quite tell if it is enough of a reason to return and try for another quite yet, or if that is common with Mother of Pearl. No matter what, it is a simple, elegant watch.

It's refreshing to have a company with good customer service people. My wife & I have been customers for a number of years and have always trusted Amazon. So when we decided to purchase a new HD LED TV we came to you ~ The TV we chose generally has rave reviews on your site. However, there was some disconcerting feedback in some customer reviews involving a High Quality 'IPS' panel OR possibly a Low Quality 'VA' panel in the same model# of the LG 32LE5300 units.
Your team was Very helpful & responsive to make sure we'd get the IPS version we want ~ First with Paul, then Sara and with the most assistance from Lisa (She confirmed the information with LG and assured me that we will receive the correct IPS panel, even if it means returning the wrong one, if it happened to be shipped to us)

Just Ordered Another One
This is an excellent TV, especially for the price point - beautiful, sharp colors, great viewing angle, very thin LED design, and light weight as compared to traditional LCDs. While I would generally prefer a larger screen, the space I bought it for - Armoire in a bedroom, would only accommodate 32in. This is a perfect size for a bedroom or smaller living space. I compared this TV against a leading brand 32in LED at a local store and while this LED was slightly thicker and heavier, the colors on the screen were much brighter and facial features much more defined than the competition - and best of all its less expensive. The design is very modern - sharp lines, thin LED. It states Silver Grey in the description, but the bezel and stand are glossy black. I like it so well, I just ordered another one on Amazon.com!

beautiful watch; worth the price
I had some reservations about spending this much money for a watch, seeing as the most expensive watch I've had in the past was no more than $300. This watch is very beautiful and has a nice weight and feel to it when worn. It is also very durable. I have a toddler that loves to play with my watches. There are diamonds around the face, and there are diamond markers. Do not worry that it is too many stones. It is very elegant and not gaudy even though it has many diamonds. I can wear it with my casual weekend wear and also with my business suits. I absolutely love the watch and would buy another Tag product.

Spectacular Watch!
I saw this watch in a magazine advertisement and thought it was nice. Then I stopped in a jewelry store and tried the watch on! Wow! I have not worn a watch in 15 years but I found one I didn't want to take off my arm! We searched on thru websites and when we saw Amazon had the watch for less $$ then the retail jewelry store my husband said buy it! We did and I am sooo glad! When I received it the watch had to be adjusted to my wrist so I stopped in the jewelry store and they checked it out and said they thought it looked as good as the one they were selling. Frame Sequential Technology: Full HD Signals for Each Eye

The method used to send left-eye and right-eye 3D images viewers is key to the 3D image quality, and Full HD 3D uses what's called Frame Sequential technology. The GT25 series plasma display panel allows images for each eye to be alternately reproduced at the rate of 60 frames per second (fps), making a total fps for both eyes. Viewers watch the images through high-precision 3D Eyewear (not included), which open and close the left and right shutters in synchronization with the alternating images. As a result, a separate 1920 x 1080 full-HD image is sent to each eye. This addresses the image quality problems and blurring that were common to earlier 3D systems, and creates sharp, crisp 3D images.
The Frame Sequential Technology requires images to be displayed at 1/120 of a second--twice as fast as ordinary full-HD images. If the luminescence time for each frame were simply shortened, the screen brightness would be lowered. To solve this problem, panasonic shortened the luminescence time and raised the luminescence intensity, to keep things bright and detailed.

Crosstalk Reduction Technology: Clear 3D Display with Minimal Afterimage

As mentioned above, the Frame Sequential technology shortens the luminescence time for each frame. If the pixel afterglow remains unchanged, the previous image will remain as an afterimage when the next image is produced. Newly developed fast-decay R and G phosphors reduce the afterimage time to 1/3, to ensure 3D images are displayed with no visible afterimage.

3D Eyewear: High-Precision Shutter Control Sends Clear Images to Each Eye

Possibly the perfect tv!
I made a mistake and purchased a 50 inch Samsung 3D plasma and returned it within a week due to horrible image retention. After learning a lesson on the importance of doing research on a purchase this large I went to work on trying to find the best tv in my price range (1800 bucks at most.) With most individual reviews and head to head reviews I read I kept seeing Panasonic 3d plasmas at the top of the list. These tv's were not only voted best for 3d but also for 2d. So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this set and I'm extremely glad I did. There are four main things I want a tv to be able to do; watch sports, play video games, watch regular programs and also to watch movies. And this set performs incredibly well in all areas.
I watch a lot of football and UFC and so far both of these sports look amazing on this tv. Everything runs smoothly and there is no issues with motion blur. So it's great for sports.
I own an XBOX 360 and love first person shooters (Call of Duty, Halo, etc..) and so far I have only played COD: Black Ops on this tv but it's a lot of fun to play on this set. The game always looks smooth and the colors really pop. Once I got use to the size of the tv (I was playing on a 37 inch before) I fell in love with gaming all over again.
As far as watching regular tv, well, I can say that I wish I had HD tv but unfortunately I don't. The standard definition looks great on this tv though. My Direct TV receiver isn't working properly at the moment and I can only view a few programs but so far so good with SD.
Watching movies is where this tv blows other sets out of the water. So far I have watched two regular Blu Rays (The Expendables and Rambo) and one 3d Blu Ray (How to Train Your Dragon) and all I can really say is WOW. I saw both The Expendables and Rambo in the theatre and honestly I think the picture is better on this set than it is at the movies. The colors and amount of detail are incredible. I watched Rambo on the Samsung while I had it and while it did look good it wasn't as good as with this Panasonic. As far as 3d goes I won't say it's as good as IMAX but it is as good as true 3d in a movie theatre. I saw Dragon in 3d at the movies as well and I actually enjoyed it more on this tv. Side note on 3d; I don't know if it will take off and if it doesn't that's okay. I bought this tv because it had the best reviews for 2d so the 3d was a bonus. But it's a fun bonus.
I've also watched some tv on a Samsung LED and I can say with confidence that this Panasonic has a better viewing experience.
Now that I have this tv all I need is a better sound system and some theatre seating and I'll be set. For the money you won't find a better set. Why spend more for an LED when this tv is better and costs less? If you're debating on a great tv to get in this price range then I'd say go for this set. I'm glad I did!

I have known TAG Heuer for years, but never had a chance to own one. Like most people, I first saw this watch displayed at a jewllery store. It was absolutely beatiful and amazing. and of course the price did shock me with over $7k retail price. the black titanium case with red stitching only makes it look even better. Not likely other expensive watch, this watch it's as heavy as I thought, and it's so comfortable to wear and fits my wrest so perfectly. As a sport watch, this is THE one. The price on amazon is unbeatable, and the amazon watch hot-line salesman explain every especial thing about this watch before I decide to buy it from them. The rubber band is very easy to adjust, and if you want a different, it's very easy to switch.(I think the leather costs about $500 each) And the watch arrived the next day. Unbelievable,
I just got this watch (not from Amazon, although the price here is a bit below full retail) at one of the major department stores, and it is absolutely stunning. I wanted a modern watch with bling that was large but not crazy oversized. I love the oversized look but for the money I wanted something a little more versatile that will never go out of style. I wanted something I could wear with jeans and with a formal dress, to work in a suit or shopping with the fam. This watch is so much more sparkly than it even looks based on this picture, in the sunlight it's just beautiful. I love that it's a much larger face than many of the other tag women's watches and other luxury brands. I love that it's sporty too, not too delicate or too old lady/mom style (I'm a mom). The face is a flat white which is what I wanted rather than a dated, ivory mother-of-pearl. It has 0.83 carats of diamonds - wow. This watch has some serious BLING to it, but is timeless and classy. I feel like I can't stop looking at it while wearing it still.

Pictures don't do it justice
Gorgeous watch--pictures don't to it justice. The back of the case has a window into the internals, something very cool for a watch buff. I was concerned that the case and bracelet might scratch easily but the stainless steel seems to be very scratch-resistant. Easy to set, easy to read, and very stylish.
Only two things to beware of:
Tag does not authorize ANY watches sold through the Web, period. I actually bought mine at an authorized dealer and paid $1695, and the watch is still worth it. Luckily I think Amazon & its sellers are about as good as you'll get for non-authorized sellers. Just make sure you research the actual company selling you the product.
There are no microadjustments for the band, meaning it's remove X number of links and that's it. Tag has very sturdy bands--that's probably the reason for no microadjustment. Mine could be a tiny bit tighter but I can't add another link back because it's too tight. Lesson--you might not get band fit you're 100% happy with. I think the band sturdiness over the long term is worth it.

Great time piece
I was a little hesitant because Tag Heuer is looked down on in some watch-fanatic circles. I struggled between this watch and the Omega Aqua Terra (I already own a Speedmaster). The Omega has a higher grade movement and is $1000 more (for the automatic). I just couldn't get over how sexy the Tag was though, and I ultimately went with the watch that I liked most (and saved a grand in the process).
I am not disappointed! This is a great looking, classic watch with a high quality finish. It has the distinctive Carrera look without the busyness of the chronograph, which is what I was looking for. The bracelet is really beautiful and, although it doesn't have a micro adjustment, there are two link that are slightly smaller, so I was able to eventually get a great fit with some trial and error. The only downside is that it is water resistant only to 5 BAR, which means that it may be a little risky to swim with.

I got in on the lighting deal on this... Had it next day shipped (I love Amazon Prime!) and set it up the day after I ordered it. Out of the box, based screwed on, and set up via HDMI in under 15 minutes. The biggest concern was the remote and the warranty. Keep reading to see how they weren't an issue!
There are 4 screws that hold the base down. This can also be attached to a standard VESA wall mount. There are plenty of inputs as pictured. The VGA is very nice if you wanted to hook a laptop up to this. The side RCA and side HDMI is a nice addition for a TV at this price point. The menu interface is well done and actually a lot better than I'd expect for something at this price. The picture is nice and for the price, really you can't go wrong!
The TV seemed well packed and protected. There was a nice thick plastic sheet taped to the front to protect the actual screen. Three language manuals and a quick start card for assembly are in the package. There were no dead pixels on my set and the picture is crisp and clear. Note: This TV is only 720p, it is NOT 1080p as mentioned in another review. Overall I'm VERY impressed with this TV for the price.
I was worried about the warranty, which according to the manual is 90 days parts and labor, 1 year parts. I opted for a SquareTrade warranty for 3 years. You can search the internet for coupons and get good discounts on them or make it easy and buy the SquareTrade warranty direct through Amazon. I got a 3 year warranty for about $20.
UPDATE: The code I used for my Comcast Remote (the Red OK button version) was: 10812 This is for an Akai TV Manufaturer. But it all works, On, Off, Volume, Input, Menu, etc. So even if you don't have Comcast, you can see if your remote has codes for Akai and try that out.
SECOND UPDATE: Another user confirmed that they were able to use their Time Warner universal remote by programming the remote to control an Akai TV. You might want to try this if you can't find a code.
If you need to program your remote, most likely your cable provider has the instructions online, so do a search.

Easy to Set-Up, Beautiful Picture, Reasonable Price

I am not an expert on LCD televisions, just someone in need of a new TV. It will ultimately be used in the bedroom, but for now it is in the family room. Although it is not a huge room, it opens to the kitchen and the ceiling is vaulted. For months I studied reviews of different models on the internet hoping to at least discover which manufacturers had the most service problems to avoid that aggravation, along with which brand had the best rated picture quality. I also visited showrooms to see what looked best to my eye.
After my research I narrowed my search to a 720p TV because although 1080p of course creates a higher quality picture, it isn't as critical on a 32 inch TV or smaller. Since new televisions usually appear in March, my plan was to buy a discontinued model and take advantage of clearance pricing. Unfortunately I waited too long and the two choices I'd focused on were both no longer available. This TV met my needs, the price was right and Panasonic was one of the two brands I'd settled on.
Light weight and easy to handle, out of the box all that was necessary was putting the stand together with a few screws and then attaching it with a few more to the television. I already had a composite video/audio cable which is good because Panasonic doesn't include one. The cable consists of three male plugs on each end -- one red, one white and one yellow. The red and white are for right and left audio and the yellow is video. There are ports on the back of the cable box and the TV with the same colors so it was easy to connect - video out on the cable box and video in on the TV. An extra step I took, in order to get my local stations' HD programs, was to hook up a basic inside antenna by screwing the antenna cable into the same named jack on the back of the TV. That gave me two advantages - I can see the HD content in full HD without increasing the cost of my basic cable plan - and if the cable goes out I can still watch TV.
I put the batteries(included) into the remote control and turned the TV on. The first screen asked for language preference (English, Spanish or French), next the option to select viewing mode - home use or store demonstration. Then the adjust picture screen came up and I left it at the default "vivid" (choices are vivid, standard, cinema, game or custom.) The darkness of your room will dictate what looks best, and the defaults are easy to change by clicking on the remote -- menu, tools, re-set to defaults. Then it goes to auto channel set-up, but if you are using a cable box you select "not used." If using an antenna, select "antenna" and then select "start" to scan the channels. Next is an option to label each of the inputs for - antenna, DVD player, cable box, etc. Then a screen appears to adjust the clock for the year, month, day hour and minute. The completion message is then displayed and you're done.
The TV can be hooked-up to a PC so it can be used as a monitor. I missed an episode of 24 during the Olympics. The network website permits viewing of the current season's episodes so I simply connected the HDMI cable from my laptop PC into the television's HDMI port on the back. That allowed me to watch the missed episode on TV rather than my small laptop screen.
The speakers are one-way 10 watt speakers and are typical of built-in television speakers. Note that there is no analog audio output or headphone jack. There is an optical digital audio output jack. I did not hook-up a receiver and separate speakers to improve the audio, at least not yet, but if superior sound is a concern, you will probably want to explore the possibilities.
The picture is absolutely fabulous and amazingly enough even when viewed at a severe angle, there is no quality degradation. My only complaint is that the volume doesn't change significantly as you increase it. The TV has an adequate maximum volume setting, but if the setting is at 30 and you want it a little louder you might have to go to 60 before you notice an increase in sound. The increments seem too small.
The TV has a shiny "piano" black case which some people feel is a maintenance problem, but fingerprints and dust wipe up beautifully with a microfiber cloth, and I like the appearance.
The set comes with a twelve month warranty, but I bought an extended warranty for an extra two years from square trade since this is a new model and as such has no history. I have been using the set for two weeks and so far it is completely trouble free, and I am very pleased with the purchase,

Great TV with good price
I have bought this TV two months ago, and been very pleased with the purchase since.
UPS guy delivered just box (no extra packaging) got me little surprised, but other than that performance/price/features are as good as it gets. You may want other fancy parts of new TV technology but I'm just fine with everything I do with TV, watching sports, movies, and computer.
It has very crisp and convenient remote menu (very responsive as well). I could've gone 720 res, but it is obvious now that 1080 is better choice. I had some doubts on buying reasonably priced electronics (because things get changed around so quick nowadays and you ended up getting obsolete technology at low price). So, if you're thinking the same, this one is a good buy for you.
I definitely recommend this product, and am thinking of buying another one, its bigger 42" brother for the living room. I usually do not write reviews on products but I have to for this one.
